The yacht's exterior and interior design are the work of Pierre Jacques Kubis Naval Design, while the naval architecture was expertly handled by Piriou. Constructed with a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, Yersin is powered by two Caterpillar Inc. engines. Designed for long-range transoceanic sailing in extreme conditions (-20 C°, + 50 C°), she has a high degree of reliability in all weather and seas. Conceived as a true explorer, she features a range of multi-function tenders, research laboratories, a classroom/conference room, media room, hospital and professional diving facility.

YERSIN’s interior is designed with the highest possible comfort levels in mind. The owner suite is large with an office, comfortable seating area and a spacious ensuite. The guests suites are located in the vessels “calm zone” to experience the highest possible comfort and low noise level at sea and they can be reconfigured from a single to a double queen size, all featuring a large ensuite.

The lower deck is dedicated to wellbeing and is composed of a large fitness area with a treadmill, dance bar, weights, resistance bands and yoga mats. A massage room, Jacuzzi, hammam and a large shower complete the spa. The sundeck offers panoramic views with a teppanyaki bar, sunpads and a sophisticated pool area.

The impressive 77m explorer yacht YERSIN was captured by ‘ SuperYachtFan ’ in the video below. Christened in the Principality of Monaco in June 2015 and named in honor of Doctor Alexandre Yersin, the brand new mega yacht YERSIN was built by Piriou Shipyard to a design by Pierre J. KUBIS Designs .

Destined for sailing, exploring and teaching, explorer superyacht YERSIN has been designed and built to navigate from the polar cold to the extreme heat in supreme comfort, while respecting the environment. Boasting the finest natural materials and certified wood, the beautiful interiors provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There is a gymnasium and spa, comfortable guest cabins and the Owner’s lounges, including the external deck and suite, as well as the wheelhouse deck and the sun deck.
