Below Deck Yachts

Yacht with Below Deck logo

If you’ve never seen the show, it follows the crew of a luxury yacht during peak “charter season.” The original Below Deck, for example, showed off the glitz and glamour of the Caribbean, especially around St. Thomas, the British Virgin Islands, and the Bahamas. The Mediterranean spin-off, on the other hand, highlights European hotspots, including Italy, Spain and Croatia.

The show is undeniably a ton of fun. From the drama in the crew quarters, to the incredible beaches, the show provides an entertaining look behind the curtain.

Yet, the chartered superyachts are the real stars of the show. Each season, Below Deck features a truly stunning super yacht. All of them measure over 150 feet and are decked out in opulent features, staterooms and amenities. And here’s something you might not know: The majority of the Below Deck yachts are available for charter!

Below Deck Charter Yachts

Through five seasons, Below Deck has featured some of the most magnificent super yachts in the world. Some of the yachts have changed ownership since the show, been renamed, or have undergone a refitting. Yet, most look like they did from the show.

But beyond the name and maybe a few changes to the interior, there aren’t many differences. All of the water toys, Jacuzzis and stunning outdoor dining areas are what you’ll find on the yachts available for charter! So which charter yachts are available?

Here’s a more detailed look at the yachts featured on the original Below Deck:

Honor – Season 1

Lumiere yacht

Honor (which is now LUMIERE) kicked off the first season, and she put on a dazzling display. The yacht, originally built by Benetti in 1999, is one of the largest yachts ever featured on the show, and it was actually booked for a five-week charter for filming.

HONOR benefited from the new-found fame of the show. She sold after it aired for nearly $15 million, and the new owners completely refit her interiors and renamed the boat. Today, LUMIERE is a masterpiece of nautical engineering.

She features luxurious accommodations for up to 12 guests and an abundance of deck space, including a sprawling sun deck. The yacht also features a wide array of water toys (the slide was a struggle for the crew all season!).

Ohana – Season 2

Yacht Rhino

Season 2 took the crew on a tour of the British Virgin Islands and featured some familiar faces. Captain Lee, Chef Ben, and Bosun Eddie were back, much to the pleasure of fans. Yet, the yacht was completely different.

OHANA (real name is RHINO) was featured on the second season, a stunning 154-footer, with beautiful decks, a horseshoe outdoor bar, and a stunning outdoor sun deck. After the show aired in 2014, Ohana underwent an extensive retrofit.

She now features an updated interior with a decidedly modern, airy vibe, as well as new hardware, including a state-of-the-art stabilization system.

Eros – Season 3

Yacht Mustang Sally

EROS took centerstage in Season 3, and the 161-foot yacht, originally built for the founder of Tim Hortons, was one of the most luxurious featured on the show. The beautiful tri-deck, featured a stately saloon, a sky lounge Jacuzzi, and sleek exterior styling.

EROS – which was sold prior to the third season – has since been renamed and was also remodeled. She’s now known as Mustang Sally, and unfortunately, this is one of the few Below Deck charter yachts that’s not available for charter.

Valor – Seasons 4 & 5

mega yacht honor

The stately VALOR was a fan favorite in Season 4 and 5. Built in 1990 by Dutch-based Feadship, the 154-foot VALOR featured a sprawling aft deck, perfect for sunset dinners and afternoon lounges. Plus, the ship – when featured on the show – had a range of water toys, including dual jet skis and a sleek, boutique hotel-inspired interior.

Like Mustang Sally, VALOR – which is now known as simply BG – isn’t available for charter. Yet, fans will always remember all the drama that took place on board.

Below Deck Mediterranean Yachts

Below Deck Mediterranean premiered in 2016, and through three seasons, the show has featured some of the Med’s best yachts. All of the yachts from the Mediterranean spin-off are available for charter, exactly how you see them on the show.

Ionian Princess – Season 1

Yacht Ionian Princess

Season 1 of Below Deck Mediterranean launched with a bang, featuring one of the strongest premieres for the franchise. Although there was plenty of drama throughout the season as the crew traveled around Greece, the beauty of IONIAN PRINCESS couldn’t be missed. The ship, which was originally built in the U.S. in 2005, featured a sleek, streamlined tri-deck design and gorgeous interiors.

The sun deck – where guests partied all season long – is one of the yacht’s star attractions, featuring a Jacuzzi with world-class views. Her interior, though, is one of the most stunning, featuring a chic design. The yacht also includes six cabins with accommodations for up to 12 guests.

Sirocco – Season 2

Sirocco yacht

Season 2 took the crew to Croatia, aboard SIROCCO. The Dutch-built yacht originally launched in 2006, and thanks to its unique two-tone, third-deck exterior, she was remembered for her striking exterior. All of the yacht’s features made great TV. From her incredible sun deck, to the African chic interior, and all of the many water toys, SIROCCO’s impressive design and amenities stood out.

Today, she’s available for charter throughout the Mediterranean. A few unique features include a sun deck gym, an alfresco party deck, a theatre, and a wide array of water toys.

Talisman Maiton – Season 3

Talisman

Named for an island in Thailand, TAILSMAN MAITON is a stunning tri-deck that cruises the pristine waters of Italy and all of the Mediterranean. The largest to ever be featured on the show, TAILSMAN is truly incredible.

The yacht accommodates 12 guests, in 6 beautifully appointed rooms. There’s a master suite, as well as 1 VIP stateroom, and four smaller cabins. The yacht was built in 2006, but most recently refit in 2016 with a timeless Art Deco aesthetic. The yacht also features a sundeck spa pool with a beautiful bar, a full-service gym, and an observation deck with panoramic views.

How Long Are the Below Deck Charters?

Here’s a little-known secret about Below Deck: The “charter season” on the show is just a few weeks. In fact, the yachts are actually booked for about six weeks, and their regular crews are sent home. In other words, the charters on Below Deck are actually a charter within a charter!

Each of the Below Deck charters last just a few days, and each episode features new charter guests.

Below Deck Yacht Rental Costs

Hiring a yacht from Below Deck isn’t cheap. The majority cost in the neighborhood of $150,000 per week. Yet, that charter rate doesn’t include expenses, including fuel, dockage fees, and taxes.

Yet, for that price, you’ll get a truly world-class experience. The crews of each of these yachts provide first-class service and all of the boats are fully loaded with amenities. There’s nothing quite like it in the world. And by hiring one of these superyachts, you’ll also have bragging rights for chartering a yacht featured on a TV show!

How to charter a Below Deck superyacht

Want to know how much it would cost to charter one of the luxury superyachts featured on US hit TV series Below Deck ? We take a look inside Below Deck ’s famous superyachts that you can charter for yourself, and find out what they have to offer charter guests on board.

Northern Sun

The star yacht of Below Deck Down Under season two, the 50.8-metre Northern Sun (originally delivered as Hokko Maru ) has lived a full and fascinating life. She was the largest yacht built by Narasaki Shipbuilding at the time and worked as an ice-class research vessel, analysing marine life and ocean currents in the North Japan Sea. As a result, she has the hardy constitution of an explorer, transformed from ship to superyacht under the stewardship of her new owners.

Northern Sun’s main deck is now dedicated entirely to entertainment, from the al fresco dining area to the main saloon with its piano and games table. Other leisure highlights include gym equipment, a dedicated library on the lower deck and an outdoor Jacuzzi, surrounded by sun pads and lounge beds. The owners’ addition of a forward seating area during her refit allows for versatile recreation, whether the mood calls for cocktail parties or quiet, waterside contemplation.

Accommodation is for up to 12 guests across six cabins, with rich, warm interiors that feature natural materials such as narra and makore wood (commonly known as cherry mahogany). The ex-explorer also – naturally – has impressive stowing capacity. She's able to carry two Laser sailboats, scuba-diving equipment, a waterski and a two-deck-high inflatable water slide, with the broker describing her as a "family-orientated" vessel.

Charter cost: Northern Sun is managed for charter by Ocean Independence with a weekly charter rate starting from $161,700.

60 metre Benetti motor yacht St David is the star of the tenth season of Below Deck, returning to the Caribbean with beloved Captain Lee. A finalist at the 2009 World Superyacht Awards , St David is a full-custom yacht with both interior and exterior design by British studio Winch Design .

She has made appearances at a number of high-profile events such as the Cannes Film Festival and has been spotted at various locations around the world including the Seychelles, Red Sea and Abu Dhabi. Accommodation is for 12 guests in six cabins, with a split-level master suite that lets in plenty of light.

A palatial theme characterises St David ’s social spaces, with features including a generous skylounge and a spiral staircase that leads through all three decks and is lit by a skylight in the spa pool of the sun deck. Elsewhere, St David has expansive water toy facilities and storage, including scuba dive gear, a new 7.2m tender, new Waverunners, and an electric foiling surfboard.

Charter cost: St David is managed by Morley Yachts with a weekly charter rate starting from €325,000.

The star of Below Deck Mediterranean season seven, 49.8 metre Home is the first “green” superyacht to appear on the show. Featuring a ground-breaking combination of a super-efficient Fast Displacement Hull Form by Van Oossanen Naval Architects with power provided by a hybrid propulsion system, Home boasts reduced emissions and fuel costs for the eco-conscious charter guest.

Defined by a distinctive vertical bow and large expanses of glass, Home was penned by Omega Architects and launched by Heesen in 2017. Her interiors, designed by Cristiano Gatto in a modern “Ibiza style”, can accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins including a full-beam master cabin with a dedicated dressing room and a private office. There is also room for nine members of Below Deck crew on board, including Captain Sandy who has returned to the helm for the seventh season while Home is cruising the coasts of Malta .

The main socialising spot is up on the sundeck, complete with a Jacuzzi and sit-up bar, a shaded lounge and protection from the elements provided by glass screens. Closer to the water, a beach club with an air-conditioned gym is situated next to the swimming platform from which guests can launch the water toys including SeaBobs, Hoverboards, E-foils, Jet Skis and a Flyboard. Home also carries gear for scuba diving, waterskiing and wakesurfing for guests to make the most of their time on board.

Charter cost: Home is managed for charter by Burgess with a weekly charter rate starting from $245,000.

Sailing under her own name around the South Pacific islands of French Polynesia on Below Deck’s sixth series, the 56.4 metre My Seanna (now Starship ) was built by Delta Marine in 2000 and refitted in 2014. The Glade-Johnson designed superyacht reappeared again for season eight, where she was filmed cruising in Antigua. She is now starring in the latest season of the show, season nine, following her recent sale .

Key features include an open air Jacuzzi surrounded by an al fresco drinks bar, a gym, a sauna room, a helipad and a spacious beach club complete with a lounge, flatscreen TV and a small galley for preparing snacks or drinks. Her opulent interiors can accommodate up to 12 guests and 11 crew and even offer a home cinema and piano for entertaining in the main saloon. There are multiple toys carried on board as well, including gear for diving and spearfishing, Seabobs and equipment for underwater filming.

“The thing that I really love about My Seanna is the spacious cabins” says Worth Avenue retail charter broker, Shannon McCoy, who has appeared on episodes of Below Deck . She describes My Seanna as a “well-appointed yacht with a good collection of toys for the guests to enjoy,” offering an excellent layout with a variety of spaces that allows charterers “to have breakfast in a different place every morning or enjoy dinner whether it's outside under the sun or in the formal dining area.”

Charter cost: Starship is managed for charter by Worldwide Boat with a weekly charter rate starting from $275,000.

Lady Michelle

Sailing under her real name, Lady Michelle was the star of the sixth series of Below Deck Mediterranean , which was the latest series from the Med spin off. The 54.8 metre Benetti superyacht is the second biggest yacht ever to feature on the show, following just behind the 56.2 metre motor yacht The Wellington from season five. During season six Lady Michelle hosted charter guests in Ibenik, Croatia with Captain Sandy behind the helm.

First delivered in 2003, Lady Michelle features accommodation for up to 14 guests including a split-level master suite with its own panoramic observation lounge. Her Stefano Natucci interiors offer indoor and al fresco dining spaces, an expansive sundeck with a hot tub and dedicated gym. There’s also a range of toys at the guests’ disposal, from Jet Skis and Seabobs to fishing gear and a waterslide.

Charter cost: Lady Michelle is managed by Burgess with a weekly charter rate starting from $325,000.

The Wellington

Actually named The Wellesley , this 56.2 metre Oceanco superyacht is owned by property magnate and hotelier Khalid Affara and named after his luxury art deco hotel in London. Delivered in 1993, The Wellesley features extended deck spaces and Donald Starkey -penned interiors that replicate the grandeur of the eponymous Knightsbridge hotel. Highlights on board include a waterfall jacuzzi, an outdoor cinema for movies under the stars and a unique private club-style lounge complete with a Winston Churchill inspired cigar room.

Describing why she makes an excellent charter yacht, James Graham-Cloete, director of charter management from TWW Yachts , says that The Wellesley is “ideal for entertaining family and friends, or hosting corporate events in utter privacy,” thanks to the fact that she “boasts some of the largest open deck spaces of any 56 metre on the water.” Graham-Cloete also adds that, on The Wellesley , “guests are invited to experience the same exceptional personal service, fine dining and attention to detail that has become synonymous with the hotel, on board a private superyacht,” while being looking after by her 14 crew members. “The crew have one of the lowest turnover rates in the industry and one of the best charter records, along with a full-time masseuse on board- making her the ultimate charter yacht!” says Graham-Cloete.

Charter cost: The Wellesley is managed by TWW Yachts with a weekly charter rate starting from €230,000.

Talisman Maiton

Built in 2006 by Turquoise Yachts , with a refit in 2012, the 54.2 metre Talisman Maiton sailed the coasts of Italy in the third series of Below Deck Mediterranean and was also captained by Sandy Yawn. Key features include a generous open plan sun deck with a forward-facing Jacuzzi and bar, al fresco dining spaces and a gym. Inside, she features six individually styled cabins for her 12 guests – including a master suite with its own private office – complemented by a sumptuous interior inspired by a combination of Asian and Art Deco influences. Her toy box is filled with snorkelling and fishing gear, Jet Skis and more for guests to enjoy while on board.

Charter cost: Talisman Maiton is managed by Burgess with a weekly charter rate starting from €273,000.

The 47 metre Heesen -built superyacht Sirocco took centre stage in both the second and fourth series of Below Deck Mediterranean and introduced captain Sandy Yawn, who has become a returning cast member on the show. Launched in 2006 with a refit in 2013, Sirocco features a dark blue hull and was designed inside and out by Omega Architects . She accommodates up to 12 guests and nine crew and offers charterers an eight person Jacuzzi, a gym, plenty of al fresco entertainment areas and a well-stocked toy box comprising Jet Skis, a waterslide and gear for wakeboarding or waterskiing. Worth Avenue retail charter broker Shannon McCoy describes Sirocco as a “very, very popular charter yacht” and with her fleet of water toys and pedigree Heesen design, provides “an excellent platform for a great time at sea.”

Charter cost: Sirocco is managed for charter by Worth Avenue with a weekly charter rate starting from €195,000.

Ionian Princess

Appropriately named for the first season of Below Deck Mediterranean , which was set in Greece, the 45.7 metre Christensen -built yacht was captained by Mark Howard during filming. Launched in 2005 and last refitted in 2016, Ionian Princess features a luxurious Greek-style inspired interior finished with high-gloss sapelle mahogany joinery and custom in-laid stonework throughout. Ionian Princess can host up to 12 guests in six cabins, including two master cabins, and also boasts plentiful dining options and a sundeck equipped with a hot tub and sunpads. She also comes with a fleet of water toys from waterskiing and wakeboarding kit to Jet Skis and kayaks. Thanks to her shallow draft, she can also access hard-to-reach hidden gems in the Mediterranean Sea that other larger yachts aren’t able to. “ Ionian Princess is ideally suited for cruising the Mediterranean, which is the most sought-after region for summer yacht charters,” says her management team at charter brokers Northrop & Johnson.

Charter cost: Ionian Princess is managed by Northrop & Johnson with a weekly charter rate starting from $175,000.

Parsifal III

Parsifal III has been the star of the sailing yacht spin off of Below Deck , captained by Glenn Shephard during filming. The 54 metre Perini Navi was launched in 2005 and was designed by Rémi Tessier . She was most recently refitted in 2020, and offers accommodation for a total of 12 guests and nine crew. Her design has seen her scoop a number of World Superyacht Awards and provides her with excellent performance capabilities at sea; when the weather is on your side, Parsifal III can hit speeds of up to 18 knots under sail. While at anchor, there is still plenty to keep guests entertained with a variety of al fresco and indoor dining spaces, a flybridge hot tub, gym equipment, a swimming platform and a fully-stocked toybox.

Charter cost: Parsifal III is managed for charter by Camper & Nicholsons with a weekly charter rate starting from €195,000.

How To Choose The Right Mega Yacht To Charter.

Charter group size.

First you'll want to take your group size into consideration. If the group is large, then this is definitely the way to go. The majority of super yachts for charter accommodate between 8 and 12 guests, making them an ideal size for family vacations or parties comprised of multiple couples.

Charter Destination

Second you'll need to decide where you're going. If you are thinking about chartering in the Caribbean, for example, then having a wide choice of watersports equipment and a swim platform may be necessary; spacious decks for sunbathing may also factor into your decision. Guests considering the Mediterranean, on the other hand, may find outside dining areas more appealing. The Med begs you to indulge in evening aperitifs on deck and romantic dinners al fresco, while enjoying the stunning landscapes.

The Crew of a Mega Yacht

These mega yachts have large crews to operate them and provide the level of service their guests deserve. What is often overlooked, particularly for guests who have not chartered these yachts before, is how important the crew is in the private charter yacht selection process. The owners of these megayachts have very high expectations of service and the unique attributes they each prefer in their crews. Obviously that starts with the captain and chef but extends thru-out the whole crew mix. When you are selecting your megayacht to charter, you will be able to see a "crew profile" of the crew at that time. Our specialists will help you understand what attributes are important as they might apply to your guest mix, e.g. "kid friendly" or a chef with a particular style of familiarity with specific diets etc.

Water Toys and Amenities

Your private vacation activities will also require attention. Will you need a large tender to take your party into various ports? What water toys or towables are you looking forward to enjoying? Is there ample deck space towards the bow so that you get the most out of the view as you head into port, or shaded lazing areas for sun or relaxing?

Being Confident in Your Choice

Adrienne chews out Sam for failing to respect her authority, but Sam refuses to back down and the two stews butt heads.

It's Not Easy Being Green

In the aftermath of their hook-up the night before, Sam and CJ are now unsure about the nature of their relationship. After an onboard alarm catches the crew off-guard, Captain Lee comes down hard on Aleks. Adrienne, Kat and Sam have a heated argument about the division of labor on the boat. With her job on the line, Kat is forced to admit an embarrassing secret to Captain Lee. When the crew gets a night out, Sam sets her sights on a few attractive guys in the bar, but CJ is having none of it and does whatever he can to derail her flirting.

Sleeping with the Enemy

Season 1, Episode 6 TV-14 CC HD CC SD

At this point, Kat is completely fed-up with Adrienne and begins hatching a plan to switch rooms in order get away from her nemesis. The charter guests throw the crew into a frenzy when they decide at the last minute to have an onboard wedding. Ben's temperamental moodiness is starting to rub some of his fellow crewmates the wrong way. All the romance on the boat is making David very homesick for his fiancée Trevor – and the time apart is making David question whether yachting is the life for him. Adrienne is feeling ostracized by her crewmates, and it's taking its toll – will she make it, or is she on the verge of breaking down?

Naughty Yachties

Because of an unexpected charter cancellation the crew is left to their own devices for a few days. Unfortunately, Captain Lee has his own plans about how those days should be spent. When the captain sets up a surprise fire drill, Aleks takes the heat for the ill-prepared crew. One night the crew enjoys a nice beachside dinner off the yacht, but the boisterous shenanigans of a few leave Eddie and David fuming. Much to Kat's chagrin, Adrienne and Ben seem to be getting very close and when Kat puts her feelings out there for Ben to see, she alienates him even more. And when she launches a drunken rebellion against the Captain, it may very well cost her job.

There's a New Captain in Town

Season 1, Episode 8 TV-14 CC HD CC SD

CJ's a rebel without a clue and everyone's starting to take notice. When he outwardly defies both Aleks and Lee, he must suffer the consequences. Kat tries to figure out exactly where she stands with Ben, but Ben has a serious issue with the amount Kat drinks. Despite her better judgment, Sam devises a plan to spend some alone time with CJ while the rest of the crew toils. The secret rendezvous blows up in their faces - threatening to destroy close friendships and leaving their jobs hanging in the balance.

Land Ahoy...Finally

Season 1, Episode 9 TV-14 CC HD CC SD

It's the crew's final charter and they're sea weary and ready for the charter season to end, but their spirits pick up when a group of fun and energetic female charter guests come aboard with energy to spare. Adrienne's overly friendly, overtly flirty attitude toward the guests causes the rest of the crew to mock her mercilessly. The shocking, unexpected departure of one of the crewmembers leaves the staff reeling, but with one last charter ahead they'll need to put their egos aside and work together to make this a smooth trip. After butting heads with nearly every person onboard, Adrienne finally reaches her breaking point.

Season 1, Episode 10 TV-14 CC HD CC SD

Hosted by Bravo's Andy Cohen, the reunion brings Adrienne Gang, Aleks Taldykin, Ben Robinson, C.J. Lebeau, David Bradberry, Eddie Lucas, Kat Held and Sam Orme to discuss some of the most talked about antics of the first season. Captain Lee also joins the crew to give his perspective on this season's charters.

BELOW DECK SERIES – Caribbean & Bahamas

Season one – sotavento (alias honor).

Benetti luxury yacht SOTAVENTO was known as CUOR DI LEONE at the time of filming back in 2013, and this prestigious 50m/163.8ft superyacht was last refitted in 2018 to prepare for her return to the charter market. Her price tag is well earned: She boasts top quality entertainment systems, a larger Jacuzzi than the one seen on the show, new water toys and status as an Approved RYA Water Sports Centre. Add to this her luscious interiors from Stefano Natucci and you have all the right ingredients for the ultimate getaway with a night on the town in a different city each night.

Season two – rhino.

Season Two aired in summer 2014 and brought a new luxury yacht to admire: OHANA. Now known as RHINO, she also received a refit in 2018 (the last being in 2014 before the show) and although slightly shorter than her predecessor at 46.9m/154ft, she packs a wallop with a massive selection of water toys as well as a 12m/40ft water slide, a sundeck Jacuzzi, choice alfresco dining and sunbathing areas and a magnificent beach club-like interior from Donald Starkey. As another Approved RYA Water Sports Centre guests can spend their time learning to jet ski before resting in the air-conditioned interior with games consoles and a large selection of films at hand.

The accommodation sleeps up to 10 guests over 5 well-proportioned en-suite cabins and there is an experienced crew of 10 for unforgettable adventures in the Caribbean & Bahamas yacht charter grounds.

Season Three – HUNTER (ex MUSTANG SALLY – alias EROS)

As the seasons rolled on 49m/161ft motor yacht HUNTER provided another lavish treat with elegant interior panelling and a casino-like setting with rich wooden panelling throughout that evokes the feel of a gentleman’s club. Outside, the fresh and bright living areas will tempt the group away from the air conditioning an into the summer breeze. Sun loungers are everywhere they are needed and so are the bars, with a Jacuzzi on the sundeck surrounded by sunbeds the crowning glory.

Overnight charter guests are accommodated over 5 en-suite cabins to sleep 11, with a crew of 10 on hand to keep everything running smoothly day and night.

Season Four, Five & Seven – BG (alias VALOR)

A classic Feadship superyacht with modern monochrome interiors, 47m/153ft BG (ex.CHARADE) returned in two later seasons after first being introduced in Season Four. What makes her such an attractive package is her large selection of water toys, including her inflatable climbing wall and water slide, serene interiors with great entertainment options, a large Jacuzzi and numerous sunbathing areas on board.

The accommodation sleeps 12 guests in 6 large, light-filled en-suite cabins while a professional crew of 7 take care of every little detail.

Season Six – MY SEANNA

MY SEANNA from Delta Marine set a few record firsts for the show: The largest yacht so far to feature, the first yacht to appear under her own name and not an alias, and the first yacht to charter outside of the Caribbean & Bahamas yacht charter grounds, giving viewers insight into the South Pacific and Tahiti in particular.

MY SEANNA yacht

MY SEANNA yacht

The alfresco cinema, dance floor and touch-n-go helipad added a new layer of luxury and convenience to what viewers were used to seeing in the outdoor areas, where sunbeds, grand alfresco dining tables and sundeck Jacuzzis set the tone for fun in the sun. The interiors by Glade Johnson Design are considered some of the most opulent available on the charter market, and the classic setting featuring detailing in 22-carat gold leaf contains a cinema and a Gran Tour player piano while a wine cellar is hidden away in the galley.

The accommodation is designed for up to 12 guests overnight in 6 lavish en-suite cabins. The crew of 12 gives a 1:1 guest ratio for stellar service throughout every charter.

BELOW DECK MEDITERRANEAN SERIES

Season one – ionian princess.

The Mediterranean is the world’s most popular luxury yacht charter grounds and it was therefore only natural that a spin-off series would focus on this incredible region.

IONIAN PRINCESS superyacht

IONIAN PRINCESS superyacht

45.7m/150ft M/Y IONIAN PRINCESS from Christensen and Palmer Johnson competed with MY SEANNA in terms of classic lavishness, where tasselled curtains could be draw to for privacy while enjoying dinner at the formal dining table, surrounded by gloss mahogany panels and fluted columns.

The accommodation sleeps 12 across 6 en-suite cabins as detailed as the shared living areas. There is also a crew of 10 for first-class service wherever you go.

Season Two – SIROCCO

The Heesen 47m/154.2 made an appearance in the second season and left an impression with her Indonesian-style interiors with intricate marquetry from Omega Architects. Sunbeds and alfresco dining areas can be found across the decks, however, the sundeck also hosts a Jacuzzi and outdoor gym.

Inside there is a cinema room and an extensive main saloon with a wet bar for refreshments throughout the day. The accommodation meanwhile provides for up to 12 guests over 6 en-suite cabins, the Master suite being on the upper deck to enjoy 180-degree views. A crew of 9 will be on-hand day or night for impeccable service.

Season Three – TALISMAN MAITON

Proteksan Turquoise motor yacht TALISMAN MAITON is the largest vessel to appear on the show at 54.2m/177.10ft, and this additional room was put to good use storing an extensive list of water toys and gym equipment, and ample outdoor areas for relaxation and exercise in the sunshine or shade.

Talisman Maiton Yacht

The interiors are timeless, contrasting dark mahogany panelling against cream and earthen tones in the furnishings that provide welcoming social spaces for guests and visitors.

The en-suite staterooms are also well-proportioned and there are 6 cabins for up to 12 guests. An expert crew of 13 will ensure that guests off all ages are entertained and well looked after throughout their time on board.

The bachelor's kelsey anderson lashes out at haters amid signs she & joey graziadei might cancel wedding, 90 day fiancé: michael ilesanmi's lawyer files to depose this surprising person after joining new family.

  • Captain Lee Rosbach continues to enjoy life in Fort Lauderdale with his wife and remains close with former crew members after leaving Below Deck.
  • Aleks Taldykin transitioned from a captain to super yacht sales and briefly appeared on Vanderpump Rules, moving on from his time on Below Deck.
  • Ben Robinson now resides in Florida with his fiancée, works as a private chef, and discusses the show on Below Deck Galley Talk.

Over a decade has passed since the series premiere of Below Deck season 1 onboard the mega yacht Honor. When the Bravo series premiered, there was some skepticism about whether the show would be a success or not. After over ten years, multiple spin-offs, and potentially more shows in the works, this franchise has quickly become one of the best reality TV shows . Below Deck season 11 is currently airing, a testament to the series' success.

Ever since Below Deck premiered, the show has seen several deckhands, stews, and chefs come and go throughout the series. Certain cast members stayed on for several seasons, such as Kate Chastain, Eddie Lucas, Ben Robinson, and Below Deck 's Captain Lee Rosbach , who finally left after ten seasons. While there have been several memorable seasons, it was Below Deck season 1 that put the show and franchise on the map. So, what has the original cast been up to since the first season?

Related: Below Deck Season 3 Cast: Where Are They Now?

Captain Lee Rosbach

Below deck season 1.

Captain Lee was the captain on Below Deck for ten seasons. He was absent for the first episode of Below Deck season 9 and was replaced by Captain Sean Meagher. Captain Lee also left Below Deck season 10 early and was replaced by Below Deck Mediterranean 's Captain Sandy Yawn. When he isn't out at sea, Lee can be found in Fort Lauderdale with his wife, Mary-Anne Rosbach. Lee is also very close with several crew members from the series, including his former Honor deckhand turned bosun, Eddie. Captain Kerry Titheridge took over for Captain Lee after his departure .

Aleks Taldykin

When Aleks Taldykin originally joined Below Deck season 1, he was hired as the captain of Honor. However, the boat's owner was uncomfortable with him, and Lee stepped in to take his place. Aleks was still working on yachts in 2019, but according to Vulture , he has worked as a captain, and according to Aleks ' Instagram, he now works in super yacht sales. Besides his time on Below Deck , Aleks briefly appeared in an episode of Vanderpump Rules as Kristen Doute's potential love interest.

Ben Robinson

Besides starring in the original Below Deck series for many years, Ben also appeared on Below Deck Mediterranean seasons 1 and 4. Now, Ben resides in Florida with his fiancée, Kiara Cabral, and no longer works as a chef on boats . Instead, Ben is now a private chef, has his own catering business, and appears on Below Deck Galley Talk with fellow alumni, where they talk about the show.

Adrienne Gang

Even though Adrienne Gang was a one-season wonder on Below Deck , the chief stew is often remembered for taking her job too seriously. Since leaving the show, Adrienne has continued to work as a chief stew on yachts but has seemed to keep herself docked over the last several years. She has undergone a few life changes, including marrying her long-time boyfriend, Andrew, in 2018 and starting the Gangplant Report podcast in 2021.

C.J. LeBeau

The second engineer, C.J. LeBeau, left halfway through Below Deck season 1 after growing tired of being on the boat. After wrapping the series, C.J. was arrested for allegedly getting into a physical altercation with his fiancé at the time (via TMZ ). Since then, he has not maintained an online presence.

Kat Held returned to Below Deck as a second stew for another season but left after Below Deck season 2. Kat put the yachting industry behind her altogether. Following Below Deck , she tried her hand at bartending and waitressing. During the Watch What Happens Live 100 episode special in 2020, she revealed she was pursuing nursing.

Samantha Orme

It was evident from the very first episode of Below Deck season 1 that Samantha Orme hated her job as a stew. However, she hated her chief stew even more. After the show, Sam put yachting behind her and became an engineer. Besides a career change, she took some significant steps in her personal life. Sam is now married and has two daughters, Blake and Molly.

Eddie Lucas

After his first season as a deckhand, Eddie returned to Below Deck for multiple seasons as bosun. He took a break between seasons 3 and 8 due to his affair with Raquel 'Rocky' Dakota during Below Deck season 3. After his time on the show, Eddie became the captain of a harbor tug in Baltimore Harbor, fulfilling a lifelong dream for the Below Deck OG.

Related: Why Below Deck Fans Think Captain Sandy Dislikes Fraser

David Bradberry

David Bradberry was a fan favorite during his first season, as he managed to go through the entire season with barely any conflict with the other Below Deck crew members. During the season, David also got engaged to his then-boyfriend, who was shown on-screen. However, in 2019, David broke up with his fiancé.

Below Deck season 11 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.

Inside plan for 460ft megayacht ‘Floating Dubai’ designed as a luxury aircraft carrier with two helipads, pool & spa

  • Juliana Cruz Lima , Foreign News Reporter
  • Published : 13:15, 28 Aug 2024
  • Updated : 14:26, 28 Aug 2024
  • Published : Invalid Date,

AN ultra-luxury megayacht designed like a military-style aircraft carrier promises to be a sheikh's paradise at sea.

Plans for the "Floating Dubai " vessel include an enormous pool deck, a relaxing spa and not one, but two enormous helipads on board.

The UAE One yacht promises to be a sheikh's paradise at sea

Christened UAE One, the superboat was designed by Milan-based Enzo Manca, who collaborated with a sheikh to make it the flagship of the United Arab Emirates.

In a statement, Manca said: “The idea of UAE One was born in 2020, during a very special meeting between me and a sheikh of the United Arab Emirates on vacation in Italy .

“The sultan was very clear and categorical, he wanted something really special and unique.”

UAE One is inspired by historic defence ships, yet its curving lines distinguishes it from other vessels on the high seas.

It also stands over 130 feet tall and has tinted windows for extra privacy in true military style.

With nine decks and a total area of slightly over 30,000 square feet, the monster yacht is designed to give guests, diplomats, and kings the finest experience possible.

There is an owner's suite, eight cabins, and 14 mini suites within.

The staff has 35 cabins as well.

As well as accommodations, the mega vessel features a press room for briefings and three private meeting rooms.

But UAE One isn't just work and no play.

The foredeck has a large circular lounge and a cosy fireplace to enjoy the 360-degree views for even more relaxation.

The main deck, meanwhile, has a beautiful 18-metre geometric swimming pool.

There are also several outdoor lounges for sundowners, a platform for ocean swims, and a wellness centre with a spa on board.

Due to the necessity of quick and simple transportation to and from a flagship, UAE One is able to maintain an extensive fleet of land, air, and sea vehicles.

The yacht features one hangar, two helipads  ideal for foreign delegates, and a "mini-internal port" for tenders and submarines.

Manca did not give away any details about the 459-footer's propulsion, but it would need a significant amount of horsepower to propel it through the water.

Official interior design renderings are still under development, leaving yacht lovers intrigued as to what the mega boat will hold in store.

It comes as incredible plans have been revealed for a lavish futuristic superyacht designed to "fly billionaires over water" while cruising at high speeds.

If you ever wanted to fly across the sea in a hoverboard only  James Bond  could ever own, this is the closest chance you will ever get.

Dubbed "Flying Pyramid" because of its unique geometrical shape, Tetra would be able to lift itself above and float over water while defying gravity.

Created by  London -based designer Jonathan Schwinge, the concept yacht is what is called a hydrofoil - a design that helps vessels to stay above water, making it seem like they are rather flying.

Hydrofoil designs have multiple hulls attached to the body - and have shaped vanes called foils that help the vessel to lift off the water.

And since only a small part of a hydrofoil boat touches the water surface, the drag is drastically reduced to offer a smoother and faster ride.

The concept superyacht will reportedly have a speed of 17.2mph during take-off - and will be able to cruise above water at an impressive speed of up to 43.7mph.

Following the ratings success of the first season, Bravo TV’s ‘Below Deck’ season 2 is due to start filming this month and the charter yacht confirmed to appear is OHANA, the 47m/154’ Admiral superyacht. The production company are currently seeking charter guests to take part in the new series.

The first season of the reality show, which followed a working charter crew over the course of five-weeks in the Caribbean, featured the 50m/160’7 Benetti motor yacht ‘Cuor di Leone’ (renamed ‘Honor’ for the purposes of the charter). After filming had finished, ‘Cuor di Leone’ was sold and promptly taken off of the charter market, meaning that the ‘Below Deck’ producers had to find a suitable replacement in time for the Caribbean yacht charter season.

Popular charter yacht OHANA became a prime candidate along with her Captain John. Grugach and producers are now looking for a new crew to fill the rest of the positions on board as well as charter guests willing to be filmed for the duration of their vacation.

The 1998-built OHANA has carved out an exceptional reputation as a charter vessel over the years and is fully equipped for comfortable and exciting cruising vacations. Meticulously maintained since new, she was last refitted in 2011 and boasts a spacious, high-quality interior styled by the award-winning designer Donald Starkey . She accommodates up to 10 guests in five beautiful staterooms and features state-of-the-art audio visual equipment and Kaleidescape systems throughout.

Her outdoor areas are what truly make her stand out with every conceivable facility needed for an unforgettable vacation. This is best seen in her vast sundeck which features a large shaded double bar, Jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads, barbeque and five optional sun shade triangles in addition to a state of the art “pop-top” which rotates and opens to reveal a central, spiral staircase. OHANA’s armada of watertoys includes a 40’ waterslide which attaches to the side of the yacht, great fun for adults and kids alike.

It is still not clear whether the yacht will be called 'Honor' in second season of  Bravo's 'Below Deck' TV show.  If you can't wait until the next season airs then you can get a sneak preview of the interior photos of Ohana or watch her charter video.

If you are interested in booking a charter on board OHANA, either for the ‘Below Deck’ season 2 in the British Virgin Islands or for the summer 2014 season then contact your preferred charter broker .

“Zephyr represents a harmonious balance of bold creativity and enduring style, making it a standout in any era,” Dörries Yachts CEO Henning Dörries told Robb Report via email.

“The final design is not only stunning but also boasts a timeless appeal with modern surfacing and meticulous detailing,” added H2 owner Jonny Horsfield. “Featuring expansive glass and spacious outdoor decks, Zephyr epitomizes the contemporary preferences of today’s discerning clientele.”

The interior is sure to be gargantuan, though Dörries has yet to specify the gross tonnage. The German shipyard also didn’t share any details regarding the layout of the living quarters, but pictures of the exterior show that Zephyr will certainly not be short on luxury amenities.

Zephyr Megayacht

Starting at the top, the sundeck is adorned with a plunge pool and sun pads forward and a large circular lounge aft. Alfresco dining areas big enough for 12 and more plush lounges grace the next two decks, while an inviting Jacuzzi occupies pride of place in the bow. The bow is so long it can also accommodate a helicopter that can be used for comings and goings. The owner’s suite will likely have private access to the bow area, as is customary with many high-end cruisers.

Dörries Yachts has unveiled some pretty extraordinary megayachts and explorers over the past few years, but Zephyr is perhaps one of the most divine designs. The best part? The megyacht is up for sale. More details will be announced at the Monaco Yacht Show in late September, with a full sales brochure also available to interested buyers.

See Mark Zuckerberg’s glossy new $300M, 287-foot superyacht ‘Launchpad’

All aboard S.S. Facebook.

Mark Zuckerberg has reportedly gifted himself a $300 million megayacht, dubbed “Launchpad,” ahead of his 40th birthday.

The staggering 387-foot-long vessel was seen floating at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., after arriving at its berth earlier this week, The Sun reported Thursday.

The multi-layered luxury ship’s sleek exterior was designed by Espen Øino International and boasts a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, according to SuperYacht Times.

Reportedly ranking as the 45th largest yacht in the world, the interiors are just as aesthetically pleasing and reportedly executed by Zuretti Interior Design company, a France-based company specializing in unique and custom yacht design.

The breathtakingly beautiful floater stands out with a navy blue theme matching an American flag perched proudly on its wood-paneled stern.

There are several outdoor areas where the social media maven will be able to relax with his family and the indoor levels feature glass paneling allowing for tons of natural light.

There also appears to be a helipad perfect for whenever the Facebook co-founder wants to travel to his vessel by air.

The Feadship-built yacht, built in 2022, can comfortably fit 24 guests aboard, requires a crew of 48, and is said to cost $30 million a year for upkeep and usage, according to Superyachtfan.com .

Boatworld insiders have been buzzing with speculation that Zuckerberg is the owner of the newly minted mega-cruise ever since it made its main voyage from the Netherlands last week.

The tech titan was spotted touring the Russian-commissioned megayacht in early March, though the impressive boat didn’t arrive stateside until this week due to sanctions, according to The Sun.

The website reported that Zuckerberg purchased the pricey yacht – along with its own $30 million partner boat — most likely as an early 40th birthday present to himself.

The boat reportedly traveled to Florida after being granted special permission to be imported just weeks ahead of Zuckerberg’s birthday on May 14.

Zuckerberg’s yacht is just 30 feet shorter than the length of fellow billionaire Jeff Bezos’ 417-foot megayacht Koru, which the Amazon boss snagged for a whopping $500 million.

Zuckerberg’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
