Croatia Specialist

Charter company Ultra Sailing was founded in 1995 in Split, Croatia. Today it has a fleet of over 60 boats and 35 employees, united by a passion for the sea and sailing. Charter boats can be hired along the entire Croatian Adriatic coast from Pula in the north (ACI Marina Pomer) through the central area of Split (ACI Marina Split and Trogir) to Dubrovnik (ACI Marina Dubrovnik) in the south of the country.

A meticulously maintained fleet

Ultra Sailing's fleet consists of 60 models of Beneteau sailboats of various sizes (from 30–⁠60 feet) and Fountaine Pajot catamarans (from 3-cabin to 6-cabin), whose level will satisfy even the most demanding clients . The fleet is in excellent condition, regularly maintained and equipped for maximum comfort.

It is possible to sail even without a captain's license

In addition to regular charters, Ultra Sailing also offers sailboat and catamaran charters with a professional skipper , which you will appreciate if you are not the owner of a skipper's license. The captain or even the crew will take care of the sailing and navigation, and you can just enjoy your holiday at sea on your own terms.

ULTRA Sailing School was established in the autumn of the year 1995 and it was founded thanks to a few Croatian representatives in the Olympic sailing category and the experiences of the similar schools in the range of countries where these representatives used to compete.

Main school office and the sailing school base are in Split, ACI marina Split, where we have out charter fleet - Split Ultra charter base. ULTRA Sailing School's is established by Emil Tomašević, lecturer at Faculty of Maritime studies, Croatian representative in the most famous Olympic class Finn and Laser in 90thies , author of guide for sailors „Sailor's skills“, with more than 35 years of sailing and competing experience from small Optimists to Offshore racers, also with experience in navigation with big merchant navy ships .

The Sailing School instructors are experienced Croatian sailors in the Olympic categories with their outstanding sailing experience longer than fifteen years sailing and the few years-each as professional skippers in the nautical tourism. Apart from the work with course attendants in Croatian language there is a possibility for taking courses in English as official language.
