From the start Raul was very helpful, we had issues with the booking through Get My Boat and Raul was very helpful during this time. The pickup and drop off of the boat was easy and simple and the boy was in great condition.

Beautiful boat! Kept in great condition and spacious for the family. Plenty of dry storage space for bags and great platforms off front and back for fishing. 10 out of 10. Worth every penny. To top it off, Raul was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable to help get you out and on your way.

I had an amazing experience with Raul as our boat host. From the moment we boarded, he made sure everything was perfect. His knowledge of the area and boating skills were top-notch, and he went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time. Raul was friendly, professional, and attentive to all our needs. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great boating experience!

10/10 would 100% recommend booking a trip with Justin. Lots of live bait and good equipment. He gave great tips, suggestions, and advice on how to fish certain spots and for specific fish. We caught a really good amount of fish with him in 5 hours, he showed us some great spots, and even filleted the fish we kept for us . Will be booking another trip with Justin soon.

This summer experience 2 options for bioluminescence tours:, set sail for fun on the water, with half day, full day & hourly rentals.

Paddle or motor from the beautiful Cape Crossing Resort & Marina to the river and watch dolphins & Manatees or even a Rocket Launch! Or just relax on one of the river islands and sandbars. In-house guests of Cape Crossing Resort & Marina receive a discount on rentals. We have a boat or board perfect for you. 

Kayak, paddle board, and pontoon rentals are available for exploring the rivers, canal, or many of its tributaries for a relaxing afternoon. Entertain friends and family while cruising at a gentle pace along the river’s edge. Our pontoon boats are 16 to 24 ft. in length and seat up to 13 people. Pets are welcomed too.

Fishing pole rentals are $10, and we sell frozen bait shrimp and mullet for $6 a bag.

Add some fun essentials to your boating experience!   Igloo 25 qt. Ice Chest Cooler rent for $10 with a pontoon rental and we’ll fill it with ice for free.

Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

How old do you need to be to drive a boat?

Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 is required to either have successfully completed a National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) approved boating education course or have passed a course equivalency or temporary certificate examination and have in their possession a boating education ID card and a photo identification card before operating a vessel with a motor of 10 HP or more in Florida. Identification cards for persons completing the course or the equivalency exam are good for a lifetime. Temporary Certificate exams are made available to the public through contractors. The temporary certificate is valid for 12 months from the issue date.

Do you have Captains for the boat?

We do not. However, we work with several captains that we can get you in touch if you do not feel comfortable driving the boat

How old do you need to be to rent a boat by myself?

Must be 21 years old to rent our boats.

Do you allow pets on the boats?

We allow your pets to enjoy the boat ride! There is a $10 pet fee for half day and $20 for a full day. (limit up to two pets)

Where can we go with your boats?

You can explore the Indian, Banana River, and Sykes Creek!

Do you allow overnight rentals?

Yes, we do on occasion. Call us to inquire more about it.

Fishing like nowhere else..

The Indian River Lagoon is home to a wide array of sport and game fish. Popular species include snook, redfish, tarpon and spotted sea trout. The Space Coast area has indeed been called “The Salt Water Trout Capitol of the World.” Drum, sheepshead, catfish and ladyfish also swim the Lagoon system and its estuaries, making game for lighter tackle. Cast nets are likely to nab mullet schooling in shallow waters of the barge canals and close-to-shore fishing spots. How does the boat insurance work?

Boat insurance typically covers loss caused by things such as fire, sinking, storms, and collisions. The extent of the coverage varies depending on the policy.

Do I need my own insurance to rent a boat?

You do not need boat insurance when renting with Boatsetter. Coverage is provided under the Peer-to-Peer Boat Rental Policy, which is underwritten by GEICO Marine Insurance Company. The policy was written from the ground up as a stand-alone recreational boat rental insurance policy covering the period of time that the boat is being rented and is available for all non-commercially insured boats.

Does Boatsetter screen renters?

Yes. We use a system called Cognito to ensure that payment information matches the renter's identity. We also require renters taking out a captained boat to be at least 18 years old and on a bareboat to be at least 25 years old.

Is listing my boat on Boatsetter free?

Yes! Listing a boat is completely free. We only take a commission when your boat is rented. We only make money when you do!

What if I'm not comfortable having a renter drive my boat?

If you are not comfortable having a renter drive your boat, we have an expansive network of licensed and experienced captains. Once your boat is listed, you can filter through our network of captains and favorite captains in your area that you would like to operate your boat.

HARBORTOWN MARINA

Harbortown Marina is a premier facility and naturally protected marina, centrally located between the Indian and Banana rivers (ICW – Barge Canal). We have proximity and deep-water access to the ocean through Port Canaveral. Our marina offers wet slips, covered rack storage, outside cradle storage, a fuel dock, pump-out services, a ship’s store, and laundry facilities. Harbortown Marina also offers its members an on-site restaurant and community area, complete with pool and grills for social gatherings.

The Indian River Lagoon is one of the most diverse ecosystems in the Western Hemisphere. What better way to spend the day than on the beautiful waters of the Indian River. 

Fishing like nowhere else.

The Indian River Lagoon is home to a wide array of sport and game fish. Popular species include snook, redfish, tarpon and spotted sea trout. The Space Coast area has indeed been called “The Salt Water Trout Capitol of the World.” Drum, sheepshead, catfish and ladyfish also swim the Lagoon system and its estuaries, making game for lighter tackle. Cast nets are likely to nab mullet schooling in shallow waters of the barge canals and close-to-shore fishing spots.
