Dr. Nichols on Below Deck Sailing Yacht primary dubbed 'most obnoxious charter guest' ever

Dr. Nichols, Below Deck primary guest, drinks, demands and displays way too much in episode 11

Daisy Kelliher dealing with Dr. Nichols, Below Deck Sailing Yacht primary guest, during season 3 episode 11

Bad news for the Parsifal III crew: it looks like Charles Sanders and Erica Rose have officially been dethroned as Below Deck Sailing Yacht 's most nightmarish guests of season three.

Meet Dr. Nichols, a Connecticut-based dermatologist who charters the boat with her husband Chris Cabanillas and their friends in episode 11 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 . Already short-staffed by the departures of deckhand Tom Pearson and second stew Gabriela Barragan , the crew is quickly swamped by Nichols and her group's relentless requests and constant complaints.

"He's very particular," chief stew Daisy Kelliher warns her coworkers about one of the guests, who gripes about both the bacon and shrimp in his Bloody Mary: "A little weak on the bacon...you need two stalks of bacon. I asked for two jumbo shrimp, look at the size of these things."

"If a guest is going to complain about something like this at the beginning of a charter...I know there's more coming, it's not going to end," Chef Marcos Spaziani worries.

The demands extend beyond the kitchen, with Dr. Nichols and company wanting every item of clothing steamed, requesting more sun loungers than the boat physically had onboard, loudly complaining about how much the charter costs ($60,000, FYI) and asking for Daisy to "juice grapes" for a bar concoction called a "Transfusion."

"I definitely don't think these guests realize we are a stew down, but even if they did, I don't think they'd give a f*ck," the chief stew says in a confessional.

Things hit a new low during one particularly drunk dinner, which the group requested to have at 10pm, keeping the entire crew up late. Wearing a very revealing top, Dr. Nichols is immortalized as "Dr. Nipples" thanks to an ill-timed wardrobe malfunction at the dining table while Chef Marcos relays that evening's menu. The group gets progressively drunker and at one point, one guest physically tosses money at Daisy as an "apology" for their behavior.

Fans have plenty to say about Dr. Nichols, Below Deck Sailing Yacht primary

These guests… no. Hate everything about ‘em. Everything. And the primary complained about the charter fare… on air… so the tip will be little to nothing. #WalkThePlank #belowdecksailing #BelowDeckSailingYacht #BDSY @BelowDeckSailng May 10, 2022
These guests SUCK. Sadly anyone who’s ever worked in the service industry has encountered 💩 like this. @daisykelliher87 deserves a medal. #belowdeck #belowdecksailing #belowdecksailingyacht #bravo pic.twitter.com/JRqFkfeURO May 10, 2022
Maybe the guests should have brought their handmaids along to steam their clothes and make bacon, since they are so demanding. #belowdecksailing #belowdecksailingyacht May 10, 2022
Gawd, these ppl are gross.I heard that ppl act like pigs on these shows hoping that if they're outrageous they'll get offered a reality show of their own. Best of luck folks, you are as appealing as a week-old pool of dog vomit.#BelowDeckSailingYacht May 10, 2022

Captain Glenn Shephard Reveals “Worst” Charter Guests on Below Deck Sailing Yacht

Captain Glenn Shephard Reveals “Worst” Charter Guests on Below Deck Sailing Yacht

The debate rages on.

Of all the guests on  Below Deck Sailing Yacht , who are the worst? At the beginning of season three, many viewers would have picked Erica Rose , her husband Charles , or her mother Cindi . The family was notorious for complaining about the crew, leaving a low tip, and allegedly lying about a stained couch .

Recently, a new group stepped up to the plate to compete for the title. Dr. Kim Nichols ‘ charter earned points for their obnoxious standards and demands. Chief stew Daisy Kelliher   (who angrily shoved their clothes in suitcases when asked to pack their bags) weighed in on the debate, and she voted publicly for Dr. Kim .

Now, Captain Glenn Shephard is in the judges’ box, casting his ballot.

“Erica Rose and her husband, Charlie, and Cindi — to some degree messing up the sofa and trying to pretend it wasn’t her — they were probably the worst,” he told The Daily Dish . “I don’t really like talking negatively about people.”

The captain also cited their $6,500 tip.

“They didn’t take care of the crew,” he said. “They kind of screwed the crew on, you know, they didn’t leave a normal tip. We don’t tell them how much to leave us in tip, but they left a really good tip last year. You go to the same restaurant two weeks in a row and you give a really good tip and then the next week you don’t, it’s like you’re saying something. So I felt like they were saying something negative to us, where we felt like we did a pretty good job of doing our best to take care of them, make sure they had a good holiday.”

Glenn continued, “If somebody has a legitimate complaint, we take it very seriously, but they were just making stuff up, I think, to justify the tip they already decided before they even arrived. I don’t know. There was something going on.”

So far, the score is one point for Erica and one point for Dr. Kim. Which crew member will cast the final ballot? One more vote will establish a winner.

'Below Deck's 10 Worst Charter Guests, Ranked

4

The Below Deck guests are part of the franchise charm, but some visitors had obscene demands and left a poor impression on both the crew and the viewer's minds. In every charter season, the yachties entertain a handful of guests. They do their best to always say “yes” on a super yacht, no matter the request. Whether the guests want a stripper, a ten-course meal, or a blowout on the beach, the Below Deck crew members often find a way to make their dreams come true.

And yet, some guests were insatiable, requesting more demands than their presence sheets listed. Others had a nasty attitude and disregarded critical superyacht safety rules. Some guests even destroyed property on the yacht, making the crew's job even more difficult than it already was and upsetting the Captain . Here are some of the most troublesome guests and what they did to earn their villainous title within the franchise.

10 Timothy Sykes

Usually, charter guests expect a seven-star luxury service when they board a superyacht. Others expect a typical day just on the ocean. While Timothy Sykes may not have had many outrageous demands, complaining and returning almost every meal was certainly annoying. Especially since those gourmet meals were traded for something more traditional, like chicken tenders for his girlfriend. The food wasn't the only problem for this guest.

The Wi-Fi was inconsistent, making it difficult for him to work as a day trader on the yacht. Snorkeling and half-underwater lunches are not for everyone. However, what particularly made Timothy a villain in the franchise was waving an envelope full of cash in front of Captain Lee Rosbach's face and then removing 5 grand from it, leaving the Below Deck crew with only a 17-thousand dollar tip.

9 Steve Bradley

According to the various Below Deck members, drunk and handsy charter guests are part of the yachting experience. Unrealistic expectations are also part of the yachting charm. Sometimes, guests are all of the above . Steve Bradley appeared in Season 3 with some crazy demands, like a foam party when the weather wasn't suitable.

He also made inappropriate comments about how the stewardesses should wear a bikini . It turned out that ‘Uncle’ Steve was totally harmless and just liked to go buck wild on vacation. He appeared later in the series with similar demands, but since the crew already knew him, the second time around wasn't as uncomfortable.

8 Charles Yim

Sometimes influencers, clout chasers, or other reality stars will join the series, and they would also like to carve out memorable moments with the franchise. In Season 6, fellow reality star Charles Yim joined the superyacht. The trip was for both work and fun, but the Below Deck cast members were uncomfortable with how much time the guests spent on their devices.

To make the situation worse, when steward Caroline Bedol went to clean the suites, she found a used condom on the nightstand. The string of surprises continued as, later on, the crew also claimed the guests were having sex on the deck, and they could see it all on the cameras. While his group may have been boring compared to the other guests, his lack of regard for privacy or the crew members' jobs certainly earned him a villainous title.

7 Michael Blackton

‘Uncle’ Steve and his flirtatious ways may have been harmless, but the same cannot be said for the other guests. Michael Blackton would appear in Season 7 and develop a liking for stew Simone Mashile . This wasn't the first time she'd encountered flirty charter guests, but this quest would be the hardest to fend off.

She tried to avoid his advances and maintain a level of professionalism, but Michael wasn't taking no for an answer. The flirtatious behavior was beginning to escalate, making everyone, especially Simone uncomfortable. As a result, Chief Stew Kate Chastain had no choice but to keep Simone separated from Michael to make sure she was safe for the rest of the trip.

6 Chelsea Gonella

This guest baffled everyone on the boat, especially Chef Rachel Hargrove . In Season 9, charter guest Chelsea Gonella would board the superyacht with a broken jaw. Her mouth was wired shut and, as a result, she couldn't eat solids . This meant that the Below Deck Chef needed to blend every meal. While the other guests were eating delicacies like lobster on perfectly plated dishes, Chelsea was sucking it up through a straw.

To make matters worse, though, she never seemed satisfied. She was still hungry and stressed the Chef out even more. At one point, the other guests refused to eat until Chelsea had her meal. Ultimately, no one, especially Rachel, could understand why she wouldn't reschedule the vacation like a “normal person.” In the end, they were left with a measly 22 thousand dollar tip, piercing Rachel's already broken heart even more.

5 Krystal Bradley

This spot goes to another guest in Season 6. When the crew received the preference sheets, they thought this trip was going to be a fun little girl's adventure. They would soon realize that Krystal Bradley was one of their worst nightmares. Krystal, like many of the other guests, was overly demanding. That wasn't the main issue, though . Krystal also had a knack for laying hands on other people when she was intoxicated.

First, she got into a fight at the dinner table. Then she passed out, which was a blessing for everyone because her friends left her there, knocked out. They later returned to help her to her room, but Krystal had other plans and responded by punching her friend in the face. What made their stay even worse was how she acted like nothing happened the next day once she sobered up.

4 Brandy Bock Tott

It's not uncommon for the Below Deck stars and guests to let loose while vacationing on a superyacht. It's also common for guests to enjoy alcohol, or even request to have a drink in their hand at all times. Brandy Bock Tott from Season 7 was on another level, though. It was obvious that the charter guests were partying before they arrived, as Brandy showed up on the yacht incredibly wasted.

Her intoxication levels were already worrisome for the crew, especially since she was either sleeping off the liquor or drinking wine and mimosas nonstop. However, their charter got worse after she passed out on an excursion. To make matters worse, her group of friends seemed unbothered and barely gave Brandy a second glance. As a result, the Below Deck crew was left to tend to the passed-out drunken guest, only to find out that she had been drinking champagne every day for two weeks before her arrival.

3 Delores Flora

The Captain and the Below Deck crew do their best to give the guests whatever they want. No request is too big or too small. While they try to make sure all guests are satisfied, they have to prioritize safety above all. They are at sea, surrounded by predators, after all. Unfortunately, though, Delores Flora from Season 8 didn't seem to get the memo. Like many of the other guests, Delores got way too drunk and struggled to hold her liquor. After a few drinks, she was ready to party, which meant she wanted to jump off the boat late at night.

Captain Lee wasn't convinced the waters were safe enough, so he told the guests no. Delores thought she was above all because she jumped in, anyway. Captain Lee was irate and ready to cancel the entire charter. The crew had to take turns watching her room to make sure she didn't escape again. In the morning, Captain Lee decided it wasn't fair to punish the entire charter group, so he only made Delores go home. Delores wasn't finished leaving her final impression, though. On the way out, Delores jumped off the tender boat that was bringing her back to shore, ultimately proving Captain Lee made the right call.

2 Justin Richards

Sometimes, guests are rude to the workers and make their jobs more difficult. While it's not always appropriate, rude guests, especially when intoxicated, comes with the Below Deck territory . However, Justin Richards from Season 9, took it way too far. On the first night, most of the guests had gone to bed, except for Justin and a female guest. They were drinking and arguing, but at some point, their argument became a little too intense.

Both guests were beyond drunk and were crossing into belligerent. The crew tried to step in and smooth over the situation and suggested that maybe it was bedtime. Justin wasn't pleased. So instead of going to bed, he told Chief Stew Heather Chase to “go f**” herself and "Go throw yourself off the boat.” Captain Lee wasn't happy at all and was ready to cancel the charter trip.

1 Karan Bakshi

Some guests were never satisfied, no matter how hard the Below Deck crew worked. This was the case for Season 10 guest, Karan Bakshi . Karan boarded the superyacht with his family and a list of outrageous demands . One request in particular was to have hookah-friendly smoking spots. Fraser Olender and the interior crew made it happen, but that didn't stop the guests from pushing their limits.

They still tried to light up the hookah inside, almost causing a fire. They partied on the deck until 5am, making second stew Alyssa Humber stayed up all night with them . After they left, interim Captain Sandy Yawn realized they had broken property on the yacht and left burn holes. To top it all off, their tip was a measly 20 thousand, despite the crew going above and beyond in ways they had never before.

'Below Deck Sailing Yacht': Dr Kim Nichols and group dubbed as 'most obnoxious charter guests ever'

Charter guests being difficult on the 'Below Deck' franchise is nothing new, but making the crew stay up late and constantly complaining about terrible service in front of them definitely doesn't earn the guests any brownie points. The recently aired episode of 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' featured Dr. Kim Nichols, a dermatologist from Greenwich Connecticut, and her husband Chris Cabanillas, chartering the Parsifal III for a luxury vacation with their friends.

With Gabriela Barragan deciding to quit mid-season, chief stew Daisy Kelliher and Ashley Marti were left to handle the whole service themselves. Though Daisy and Ashley braced themselves to do some extra work , the stews didn't anticipate the amount of work that they would not only be burdened with but also put up with the unimaginable level of disrespect from the charter guests. From the get-go, the guests found the most mundane thing to complain about and demand. From asking the crew to steam every piece of clothing to complaining about the ice melting and being served with lukewarm drinks while sitting under the sun, the guests went above and beyond to make the interior team's lives a living nightmare.

Daisy had to single-handedly cater to all the demands of the guests which ranged from making drinks and playing music to fetching them warm blankets. Despite being exhausted, Daisy maintained her calm and composure and did her best to meet all the demands of the guests. The guests noticed that Daisy was handling everything by herself, but instead of being understanding or more considerate of her situation, they complained about bad service to her. The chief stewardess was left fuming when one of the guests threw money at her for the "aggravations" caused to her by their group.

After watching the guests' behavior, several fans took to Twitter to slam their inconsiderate behavior. A fan tweeted, "These guests are ridiculous #BelowDeckSailing." 8 Below Deck Chefs With The Best Work Ethic Ranked (The Pressures From The Kitchen Didn't Prevent Them From Working Hard)

I’ve finally figured out why there are no below deck franchise reunions anymore (& i’m hoping we can bring them back), love is blind season 7: are taylor krause & garrett josemans still together.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht  season 3 is currently airing, and so far, the season has some of the worst charter guests. The  Below Deck franchise is set on a luxury vessel with a crew who are expected to provide their guests with five-star service.  Naturally, there are some horrendous clients, with these guests being some the worst the franchise has ever seen.

Captain Glenn Shephard of BDSY has had to deal with his fair share of issues while leading the superyacht Parsifal III. The seasoned captain had to navigate annoying deckhands not handling their alcohol, dock accidents, and tedious guests who always seem to want a beach picnic. Glenn always does his best to make sure each charter season is as splendid as the last. With only two seasons and a third airing of the spin-off, the captain and his crew have been able to work through almost any issues and are looking forward to having another wonderful year full of large tips and hopefully no complaints. However, along the way, they met some of the worst guests.

The  Below Deck  franchise has captured the hearts of Bravo viewers thanks to its nautical adventures. With multiple spin-offs, the show has taken fans on a sea of adventures and enlightened them on how some charter guests actually act. Some charter guests have been absolutely lovely , while others are picky, demanding, and obscenely wealthy guests who feel they deserve anything and everything at the snap of a finger. It has become apparent to  Below Deck  fans that working on a luxury yacht is not always a dream job. These are some of  Below Deck' Sailing Yacht's  worst guests.

Barrie and Tony Drewitt-Barlow

Fans first met Barrie and Tony when they brought their family on a luxury holiday in Croatia, away from the cold weather in England. The couple made waves thanks to their LGBTQ+ history and petty drama. Viewers were quickly annoyed at Barrie's rude attitude and lack of manners. Barrie came off way worse than Tony, who genuinely seemed embarrassed by his former partner's actions. While he and his group were high maintenance, they were nothing compared to these next two charter groups.

McCordia Young

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 stew Gabriela  Barragan thought she would be fine on the night shift, but McCordia proved her wrong when he attempted to flirt with her. The Below Deck charter guest in question was on a trip with his friends, but on one night, had too much to drink and started asking Gabriela personal and inappropriate questions. He inquired about sexual preferences and how he found her attractive. Viewers were left shocked and uncomfortable by his advances.

Erica and Chuck Rose

While Erica was always legend on Below Deck Sailing Yacht , she and her mother had a lot drama around them this season. This time, Erica brought her husband, Chuck, onto the trip, and fans got more than they bargained for. On top of leaving an abysmal tip of only $6,500 , the couple was extremely rude to the staff, who tried to go above and beyond for their group. Not only was the tip the lowest in franchise history, but her husband, with his "amazing" pallet, had the audacity to say McDonald's was better than Chef Marcos Spaziani's food.

Viewers are over these particular guests but know that rude ones will always be mandatory. They add drama to the series that, for once, isn't between the crew. These horrible charter guests are what make  Below Deck Sailing Yacht such an entertaining series.

Has Below Deck Sailing Yacht become a competition for the worst charter guests? That honor originally went to Erica Rose and her husband Charles Sanders. Erica returned for a second time with her mom, Cindi, and her husband, Charles Sanders. Fans called them vile and ignorant .

Charles made offensive comments about Chef Marcos Spaziani’s food. However, he claims that production told him to make those comments and that the show is scripted . Erica and Charles kind of apologized for their behavior and low trip drama. Kind of. Now, there’s a new group of charter guests that’s making fans forget all about Erica and Charles.

Dr. Kim Nichols’ charter group called “most obnoxious” charter guests

On the Monday, May 9 episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , Dr. Kim Nichols and her charter guests made their big appearance. However, their entrance came with big demands . Right away, the charter guests hounded chief stew Daisy Kelliher for drinks. There was no tour of the Parsifal III because they were already thirsty and hungry.

While difficult charter guests are common on Below Deck , this charter group may be hailed as the worst ones yet. Not only did they push dinner service late into the night, but they also made the crew stay up late to serve their every whim.

Since Gabriela Barragan quit the following episode , Daisy and Ashley Marti were down one person. They were left on their own to scramble for the guests. The Below Deck Sailing Yacht stews didn’t expect to be burned out and exhausted by the time the charter guests boarded the yacht. They had to deal with the constant demands and rude behavior.

One of the guests even threw money at Daisy. In her confessional, she told him where to shove it. Despite her exhaustion, Daisy maintained her composure and tried to keep up with the demands. Even though the guests were aware of her situation, they continued to complain about the service.

Has Below Deck Sailing Yacht become a competition for the worst charter guests?

The latest episode has Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans wondering if the show has become a competition for charter guests to act as obnoxious as possible. Most of them took to Twitter to call out their behavior. Suddenly, having Erica Rose and Charles back didn’t seem so bad.

“#BelowDeckSailing it never ceases to amaze me how ridiculously horrible the charter guests can be…do they NOT realize they are going to be on TV??? Stay CLASSY Dr. Nipples!!!” one fan wrote, referring to the time when Dr. Nichols’ had a wardrobe malfunction during dinner.

Captain Glenn Shephard names worst Below Deck Sailing Yacht charter guests

Captain Glenn Shephard from Below Deck Sailing Yacht revels his pick for worst charter guest.

Captain Glenn Shepard has named his worst Below Deck Sailing Yacht charter guests as the debate between Dr. Kim Nichols and Erica Rose has emerged.

After Erica and her husband Charles Sanders appeared on Season 3 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, viewers didn’t think there could be a more obnoxious group of guests. That all changed when Kim and her pals boarded Parsifal III, giving the crew, especially Daisy Kelliher and Ashley Marti, a run for their money.

It’s pretty hard to get on Captain Glenn’s bad side. The captain is notorious for his nice guy ways, but that doesn’t mean he loves everyone he encounters on the hit Bravo show.

When speaking with The Daily Dish, Captain Glenn expressed it was pretty obvious to him who was the worst charter guest group of Season 3. The honor goes to Erica, Chuck, and Erica’s mom Cindi Rose.

“Erica Rose and her husband, Charlie, and [mother] Cindi — to some degree messing up the sofa and trying to pretend it wasn’t her — they were probably the worst. I don’t really like talking negatively about people,” he stated.

As Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans will recall, the group left a measly $6500 tip. Chuck and Erica blamed it on the rest of the group not tipping, but considering how demanding they were, the low amount didn’t sit well with the captain.

“They didn’t take care of the crew,” Captain Glenn dished.

Why does Captain Glenn think Erica and Chuck made up complaints?

Anyone who watched the episodes featuring Chuck and Erica knows chef Marcos Spaziani’s food was a major problem for Chuck and even Cindi too. Captain Glenn feels the crew did a legitimate job trying to accommodate the complaints but that the guests were complaining to justify a low tip.

“If somebody has a legitimate complaint, we take it very seriously, but they were just making stuff up, I think, to justify the tip they already decided before they even arrived. I don’t know. There was something going on,” he expressed.

Captain Glenn Shephard made it clear that most of Erica Rose and Charles Sanders’ group were lovely. The captain only deemed Chuck and Erica the worst, not their entire group.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo.

I think Erica and her embarrassing husband or a joke. He is a sick individual and should get help. Erica has no class just like her mom, so Embarrassed for all 3
