The latest design to emerge in the 40 feet cruising cat market is the "Silver Destiny" from Pro Kennex. However, the 420 stands out from others of this size due to her wide beam of 7.5 meters, which gives her significantly more volume in the accomodation area when compared to similar sized cats, and in particular the large cockpit, made even more spacious with the use of twin wheels instead of tillers. Designed by Marc Von Pethegen and Vincent Lauriot-Prevost, famous for their creation of Florence Arthaud's "Pierre Premier", this is their third cruising cat design. The Kennex 420 incorporates the same formula as used on the 380, in particular the concept of having the navigation table and the galley in the salon, creating a cosy atmosphere both at sea and when at a mooring.

Satellite images emerge of oil depot ablaze in Rostov Oblast after drone attack – photos
Skhemy (Schemes), an investigative journalism project by Radio Liberty in Ukraine, has released satellite images revealing the consequences of a drone attack on an oil refinery in Azov in Russia's Rostov Oblast on the night of 17-18 June. The fire was still burning the following afternoon.

Details: The images, taken at 14:30 Kyiv time, show the fire still raging in and around the oil depot, but it is difficult to assess the extent of the damage caused to the refinery since visibility is restricted due to the smoke.
The oil depot that was hit belongs to Azovprodukt. Up to 60,000 tonnes of oil products pass through this Russian terminal every month, and the tanks blazing as a result of the Ukrainian drone attack can hold up to 30,000 cu m of oil products at one time.
The Russian Defence Ministry has not commented on the attack. However, the governor of Rostov Oblast reported that tanks containing oil products had caught fire as a result of a drone attack in Azov.
Background:
Overnight drone attacks on 17-18 June caused fires in fuel storage tanks containing petroleum products in the city of Azov, Rostov Oblast. Russian Telegram channels reported that locals had heard five explosions shortly beforehand.
An Ukrainska Pravda source at the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) said SSU drones had attacked Azovprodukt’s Rostov oil depots and a branch of Donnefteprodukt in the city of Azov, which taken together contain 22 fuel tanks, on the night of 17-18 June.

The Pro Kennex 420 model is basically a Pro Kennex 445 with shorter transoms. Same molds used, same hulls, interior, layout, width, installations, sail plan, everything the same as a Kennex 445. She is one of the widest catamaran of its range, this width is usually found only in 50 foot or larger catamarans.
Pro Kennex. I owned a Pro Kennex back in the 90's and thought it was a well built catamaran. The 18 horse engines were lacking, the galley head height was not made for anyone taller than 5-9" and the fuel capacity was not enough for extended cruising. I was able to enclose the cockpit very easily with screening.
2015 Catamaran Main Sail (special design for regeneration power) made with higher performance heavier and full upgrades with special zipping sail bag and many lines and sheets including main halyard. Rocna Galvanized Anchor (tried many this is the best), Also Natures Head compost toilet removing all need for pump outs (real nice system).
