Start your day with a reviving fresh juice on the master suite’s private balcony, followed by a delicious breakfast prepared by MARAYA’s chef just the way you like it, seated at the vast table on the upper deck aft with its elevated views of the surroundings.

The sun deck cannot be beaten as a sanctuary of calm, with its abundance of sunloungers, sun pads and jacuzzi. Perhaps a mid-morning break for coffee or mimosas is called for, in the comfortable shaded seating area of the main deck aft. Before lunch, the captain moves MARAYA to a new anchorage for the afternoon’s activities, so head to the Portuguese bridge for an exhilarating spot to take in the changing scenery, or curl up in the main deck lounge with a good book for a little solo time.

An informal lunch is served on the sun deck, in the shade of the hardtop roof. Then it is time to take to the water on MARAYA’s dizzying array of watersports toys. As well as typical options like wakeboards, kayaks and jetskis, MARAYA has a number of unusual ones for energetic guests. Spirited sailors might want to hop in the pair of racing catamarans, or you could try your hand at kitesurfing, jump on the racing flyboard and hoverboard, or dive underwater to test your skills on the Subwing towable board. The friendly deck crew are on hand to show you the ropes.

Retire to your room to dress for dinner. MARAYA’s master suite is a haven of tranquillity, with its own study and zen-like bathroom as well as the private balcony, which offers the perfect spot for a romantic sundowner. On the lower deck, a VIP suite, two doubles and two twin cabins with pullman berths can be found. Having had a full refresh in 2018, MARAYA’s luxurious interior is wheelchair friendly and features an elevator serving the lower to upper decks; her zero speed stabilisers ensure guests enjoy a calm, roll-free experience at anchor.

The sun having set, enjoy an al fresco dinner on the upper deck looking out over the twinkling lights of the bay or, for a more private setting, head to the formal dining room on the main deck where you will delight in the chef’s contemporary cuisine.

Built and delivered in 2008 by Italian company CRN Ancona, the MARAYA yacht has an impressive 420 square meters of outdoor space with five separate decks ideal for a relaxing and luxurious getaway. 

The name MARAYA is derived from the Arabic meaning “many mirrors” and it also means “admired” in Spanish.

She is a superyacht that catches anyone’s attention thanks to her elegant structure and refined finishing touches.

The MARAYA yachts elegant and luxurious interior was designed by Claude Missir Architecture Interieure , featuring a single type of heavy wood, channel walnut, and real leather accents, perfectly matching the furnishings and fixtures.

MARAYA can accommodate up to 12 guests in six spacious and luxurious cabins. Her accommodation is comprised of one master suite, one VIP suite, two double cabins, and two twin cabins.

The master suite has a private balcony that lowers when the yacht is at anchor while the rest of the staterooms can be found on the lower deck. 

The MARAYA yacht offers a wide range of amenities that makes the experience both pleasant and comfortable. Amongst her five vast decks, there is a gym, a cinema room, and a children’s playroom.

However, her most impressive feature is her extensive 130-square meter sundeck that has a jacuzzi as well as the capacity to host aircraft up to 1.6 tons.

In 2018, MARAYA was fully renovated and now features a wheelchair ramp, an elevator connecting the lower and upper decks, as well as zero-speed stabilizers to reduce any rolling motion while at anchor.

A General Description of Motor Yacht MARAYA

This motor yacht MARAYA is a 54 m 178 (ft) sizeable steel vessel which was made at CRN Yachts (Ferretti Group) and devised by Crn and Studio Zuccon International Project. Sleeping 12 passengers and 10 qualified crew, motor yacht MARAYA was formerly (Project Rasha). The naval architecture office who actualised her plans and general arrangement with respect to the yacht was Crn and Studio Zuccon International Project. Further, the interior styling is from the company Studio Zuccon International Project / Claude Missir Agency.

The Construction & Yacht Design with respect to Luxury Yacht MARAYA

Crn was the naval architect firm involved in the formal superyacht plans for MARAYA. Her interior design was realised by Studio Zuccon International Project / Claude Missir Agency. Crn and Studio Zuccon International Project is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this yacht. Italy is the country that Crn Yachts (Ferretti Group) built their new build motor yacht in. After her formal launch in 2007 in Ancona she was passed over to the owner having completed sea trials. Her main hull was crafted from steel. The motor yacht main superstructure is fabricated extensively with aluminium. With a width of 10.2 metres / 33.6 ft MARAYA has fairly large interior. She has a reasonably deep draught of 3.4m (11.1ft).

Fitted with twin CATERPILLAR diesel main engines, MARAYA is able to attain a high speed of 15 knots. Coupled to the MARAYA engines are twin screw propellers. She also has an efficient range of 4200 nautical miles whilst underway at her cruising speed of 14 knots. Her total HP is 3591 HP and her total Kilowatts are 2680.

PRESENTING MARAYA

Luxury motor yacht MARAYA is one of the latest superyachts launched by builder CRN. She is a 54-meter steel and aluminum mega yacht.  Her exterior lines are by Zuccon International Project.  Consequently, her naval architecture is by CRN Engineering.

The name of luxury charter yacht MARAYA translates as “many mirrors” in Arabic. It gives a clue to a central motif of the interior décor. Mirrored surfaces are used to bounce light around and illuminate potentially dark areas of the yacht and heighten ceilings.

MASTER SUITE

The master suite uses “magic mirrors” to disguise the 42-inch plasma TV in the cabin. In addition, another screen in the bathroom above the central egg-shaped bathtub.

This spectacular superyacht offers the very latest innovations in technology along with the rich and luxurious comforts expected from a charter vessel and an abundance of both internal and external spaces for her guests to escape, relax, and fully enjoy their freedom onboard.

The yacht’s contemporary styling and crisp minimal interior designs by “Claude Misser” present guests with elegant curves and strong vertical lines combined with exquisite materials and countless refined finishing touches. American walnut, the principal wood used for paneling, is married with a creamy beige travertine marble sole in the main salon and gay Pietra Serena marble in the owner’s bathroom.

If this new yacht’s interior volume belies her overall length, the room has been found for a treadmill in the small lobby at the top of the stairwell. An awning housed inside the radar arch extends to completely cover the open aft deck. The sundeck doubles as a touch-and-go helipad. In specific, for aircraft up to 1.6 tons and also for stowing jet bikes.

There is a playroom on the yacht, and it has sliding glass doors that open onto a swim platform that folds down from the stern bulwark.

The private balcony in the forward master suite folds down from the hull structure, which extends the size of the platform over the water. To allow natural light to enter the cabin, two glass windows have been fitted into the teak floor. These are protected with matching teak covers when the balcony is in use.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The new vessel’s accommodations layout features cabins for a total of 12 guests in the master suite on the main deck, a VIP cabin on the upper deck, and two twin and two double cabins on the lower deck. The main salon and dining room form an open space of some 100 square meters.

MARAYA features

Spacious and open, MARAYA’s exterior space is split into five separate living areas with a large gym and jacuzzi pool on the sundeck. The exterior connects seamlessly with MARAYA’s Claude Missir interior which features a superyacht elevator to allow guests to easily move around the yacht.

An exceptionally spacious yacht for her size, MARAYA can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests onboard overnight. Ideal for corporate events, she can also welcome up to 150 guests when quayside and has accommodation for her dedicated 15-person crew on the lower deck.

Located forward on the main deck, MARAYA’s full-beam master suite is beautifully finished with a neutral colour palette and contrasting wooden panelling. Styled by acclaimed Lebanese designer Claude Missir, MARAYA’s interior living space features clean lines and a neutral colour palette to create a feel of sophisticated minimalism. Contrasting wood tones are paired with luxe finishes throughout the yacht while large windows fill the interior with natural light.

Created by Zuccon International Project in collaboration with CRN, MARAYA’s flowing lines and dynamic profile showcase her prestigious Italian design heritage. Designed to bring guests closer to the water, she boasts over 450m² of outdoor living space across her three decks.

On the main deck aft, sliding doors lead from the salon to a large covered lounge area where you can relax with a pre-dinner cocktail. Steps lead to the upper deck where you’ll find a covered dining area for ten with built-in aft seating plus an additional lounge area in the bow.

Perfect for socialising in the sunshine, MARAYA’s vast sundeck also doubles as an exclusive lounge space with a bar, seating area and full music system including outdoor karaoke. Featuring a raised jacuzzi pool surrounded by sunpads, the sundeck can also be set up as a gym with a full range of sports and yoga equipment including a Peloton bike.

An approved RYA training centre, MARAYA has an excellent selection of water toys including two tenders (one of which is a dedicated ski boat), Seadoos, kayaks, Seabobs, paddle boards, wakeboards, wake surfs and more. Interior Design & Engineering

The interior of the MARAYA motor yacht was designed by Claude Missir and showcases timeless styling with beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating.

Up to 12 guests can sleep across six cabins on a MARAYA yacht charter. The owner’s suite is exceptional and features its own fold-down balcony that can be lowered whilst at anchor to create a completely private terrace. The rest of the accommodation comprises a VIP suite, two double cabins, and two twins with two Pullman berths.

It’s easy to move between floors thanks to a wheelchair-accessible elevator, while zero-speed stabilisers mean you’ll feel stable at anchor.

Yacht Facilities & Entertainment

There’s no shortage of things to do during your MARAYA yacht charter. The lower deck is home to a children’s playroom, which has sliding glass doors that lead to a fold-down swim platform. If you need to take it easy, you’ll find a sea-level cinema and a games room on the lower deck too.

The vast sun deck is another highlight of the MARAYA yacht. Spanning 130 square metres, you’ll find a raised Jacuzzi forward that’s surrounded by sun pads and offers exceptional views. The aft sun deck presents even more space to sunbathe, with an L-shaped sofa and day beds for you to recline across. If the sun gets too much, you can extend the awning to create some shade or head midships to enjoy an alfresco lunch.

The voluminous open-plan main salon is split between a casual seating area and a formal dining area. It leads through sliding doors out to the main deck aft, where there are more chairs and tables and a sofa lining the aft rails.

The upper salon of the MARAYA yacht is also open-plan and divided between a lounge area with U-shaped seating, a round table that seats five, and a bar. Head out to the aft deck to enjoy an alfresco meal at the large dining table, then enjoy a digestif on the sofas at the back.

Toys & Crew

A crew of 15 will be on-hand to guarantee your MARAYA yacht charter is exceptional.

They’ll be ready to take you ashore on one of three tenders or help you work your way through the impressive selection of water toys. You could explore the underwater world with the snorkelling and scuba diving gear or paddle across it on the kayaks and paddle boards. If you prefer to zoom across the waves, you’ll enjoy the Seadoos, Seabob, water skis, wakeboards, wake surfs, and more. There’s even a pair of racing catamarans, a racing flyboard and a hoverboard SUBWING on board—and filming drones to capture the memories you’ll make on the water.

Mariah Carey confirms shocking family deaths of mom and sister who died on the same day

Over the weekend, Mariah Carey suffered heartbreak twice as much, as her mother Patricia and sister Allison Carey both died on the same day, People confirmed.

“My heart is broken that I’ve lost my mother this past weekend. Sadly, in a tragic turn of events, my sister lost her life on the same day,” the Grammy-winning singer, 55, said in an exclusive statement to the media outlet.

“I feel blessed that I was able to spend the last week with my mom before she passed,” the singer added. “I appreciate everyone’s love and support and respect for my privacy during this impossible time.”

She ended the message, “I appreciate everyone’s love and support and respect for my privacy during this impossible time.”

No other details, including how the singer’s mother and sister died, have been publicly disclosed at this time.

Patricia, who was previously married to Alfred Roy Carey, was a Julliard-trained opera singer and vocal coach before having Alison, Mariah and son Morgan. The singer’s parents later divorced when the singer was 3 years old.

Carey’s relationship with her mother was a complicated one, as she once described it as a “prickly rope of pride, pain, shame, gratitude, jealousy, admiration and disappointment” in her 2020 memoir, “The Meaning of Mariah Carey.”

Though they had a rocky relationship, the two maintained a bond, as the “Vision of Love” singer dedicated part of her memoir to her, saying, “And to Pat, my mother, who, through it all, I do believe actually did the best she could. I will love you the best I can, always.”

Her relationship with her sister was also an extremely complicated one, as the iconic singer wrote in the memoir that their relationship at the time was “emotionally and physically safer for me not to have any contact” with her or Morgan.

Allison Carey even sued Mariah Carey over the abuse claims made in the memoir.

'Heartbroken' Mariah Carey says her mother and sister died on the same day

A "heartbroken" Mariah Carey announced Monday that her mother, Patricia, died over the weekend.

In a "tragic turn of events," Carey said, her sister, Alison, died the same day. Carey, 55, offered no details about the circumstances of either woman's death.

"I feel blessed that I was able to spend the last week with my mom before she passed," Carey said in a statement. "I appreciate everyone’s love and support and respect for my privacy during this impossible time.”

Carey had a complicated relationship with her family, which she detailed in her 2020 memoir, "The Meaning of Mariah Carey."

Her mother, a former opera singer, was included in the book's dedication page.

"And to Pat, my mother, who, through it all, I do believe actually did the best she could," Carey wrote. "I will love you the best I can, always."

Carey told Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live” in 2020 that the book is about not fame but “emancipating” the little girl she was. She added that she did not agree with everything her mother did in her life but that she loved her.

“I feel like it’s a survivor’s story, and not everybody realized that about me,” Carey said.

In her memoir, Carey said she was raised predominantly by her mother after her parents divorced when she was 3. E! News reported that Carey wrote in her book that she and her mother grew close over a shared love of art but that the two had tough moments.

She recounted a moment when she was 14 and giggled at her mother's singing Michael Jackson with an operatic tone, and an upset Patricia Carey told her, "You should only hope that one day you become half the singer I am."

"Having people you love be jealous of you professionally comes with the territory of success, but when the person is your mother and the jealousy is revealed at such a tender age, it's particularly painful," Carey wrote.

Carey also described harrowing moments with her older siblings, Morgan and Alison, in the book. Both filed defamation lawsuits against her.

Alison, according to E! News , filed a defamation suit over Carey's allegations that Alison subjected her to several traumatic moments when she was young, including drugging her. Her sister denied the allegations in the book.

"My sister drugged me with Valium, offered me a pinky nail full of cocaine, inflicted me with third-degree burns, and tried to sell me out to a pimp,” Carey alleged in the book, according to the outlet.

The suit alleged that Alison was "diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and depression as a result of the memoir," E! reported.

A summons listed in New York includes the details in the E! News story, but additional information about the status of the suit could not be found. New York Supreme Court records show that the defamation suit filed by Carey's brother remains active in the court.
