This Motor Yacht is a result of a fruitful cooperation between CMN Yacht Division and Andrew Winch Designs. She is the prototype of a new 58-60 m series.

Netanya 8 has been built according to Bureau Veritas classifications and MCA code.

The Motor Yacht is propelled by two Caterpillar 3516 diesel engines and is fitted with two pairs of zero-speed Quantum stabilisers, creating a very comfortable yacht at sea.

The design by Andrew Winch Designs has a range of versatile options and maximises the potential of the yard’s naval architecture.

The yacht can comfortably accommodate an Owners party of up to twelve guests in five calm guest cabins, and an upper deck VIP cabin complete with it’s own private balcony.

The Owners full beam duplex stateroom includes his and hers bathrooms and dressing rooms, a private sitting room with full height hull side windows and stairs up to a raised private observation lounge giving panoramic views forward.

“The best ever view of the sea is a key feature of our design”, states Andrew Winch.

Her huge open plan sun deck incorporates a Jacuzzi and sunpads forward with a bar and sheltered sunbathing area aft, that makes it a very comfortable place to spend in the heat of the day.

A full beam skylounge with cane furniture, large plasma screen and all-round glazing provides a casual beach like atmosphere which is extended out to the exterior creating an enormous inside/outside relaxation and entertainments deck with al fresco dining, distinct from the sophisticated French Chic of her huge 120 m² main deck saloon.

The entire interior is executed in pale sycamore, limed oak, maple and sycamore for the guest areas, which extend over 510 m², and walnut for the bridge. Pretty nice looking vessel if one ever needed an opinion. How she looks, is simply great and must be seen for for yourself. Netanya 8 is a recent launching built by CMN yachts. She has a length of 58 Meters and a pretty wide beam for her size. No two tone treatment was given to her exterior surfaces instead, an all-white hull and superstructure beckons your attention especially when basking in the brightness of the sun. She will embrace and house 12- 16 guests in her 58 Meter length and no doubt the interiors will be well appointed. Netanya 8 is a unique vessel in her right however, something about her design reverts your minds eye to the designs of Amels and Feadship. Her designers seemed to have incorporated some features of other yacht builders still with a nice individualistic flair. In conclusion, m/y Netanya 8 is a looker. She combines nice touches and designs with uniuqe flair and no doubt when the owner or guests goes aboard they can only say one thing, "Home sweet home." Hi, The article in French says amongst other things that the project commenced in March 2003, it was originally named Bermie, it is for an American client and they are building another two the same for an Australian client.

The 58m/190'3" motor yacht 'Netanya 8' (ex. Nov Bermie) was built by CMN Yachts in France at their Cherbourg shipyard. Her interior is styled by British designer design house Winch Design and she was completed in 2007. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Winch Design.

Netanya 8 has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests in 7 suites comprising one VIP cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 14 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

Netanya 8 is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3516B) 2,199hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 15 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 5,758 nautical miles from her 123,000 litre fuel tanks. Her water tanks store around 32,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to BV (Bureau Veritas) I ✠ Hull ● Mach ✠ AUT-UMS classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.
