Price’s Yacht Canvas

We are located in St. Michaels,Md which is the center of a unique and magical waterworld on Maryland’s fabled Eastern Shore, about halfway between the Susquehanna source and the Atlantic mouth of the Chesapeake Bay.

If you would like to have work done, but your boat is not kept here locally, we can arrange for a boat slip for you while we do any canvas or interior work you may need. Our boat slips available for our customers are in St. Michaels at Higgins Yacht Yard or at Dickerson Harbor on La Trappe Creek.

The custom aft cockpit seats manufactured by Price’s Yacht Canvas made a big hit at the 2006 Annapolis Powerboat Show. They were designed to increase back comfort, give more leg support, and to be removable during non use. Canvas, curtains, enclosures and covers are offered as an option by most boat manufacturers. This canvas is made for the boat manufacturer by an Original-Equpment-Manufacturer (OEM) and sold with the boat by the boat dealer. The boat dealer is able to provide the factory orignal canvas for your boat from the boat manufacturer (or OEM) when its new and for several years thereafter. After a few years, many dealers no longer carry or have access to the OEM canvas (or the dealer or boat manufacturer may have closed or not be close by). offers the OEM canvas offered from the factory (or through your boat dealer) with your year/model boat. Our OEM manufacturers made that canvas, and we have the patterns to (any color and trim) using brand new Sunbrella®, Weblon®, Stamoid®, Aqualon® or Vinyl marine fabric. )--> that was originally used to make the Factory Original-Equipment canvas for a perfect fit. The law requires that businesses notify Californians prior to sale if a product contains certain chemicals. The law also requires that the manufacturer label the product with a warning. Vinyl often contains the chemical Diisononyl Phthalate (DINP) which is on the list of chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. DINP belongs to a family of chemicals commonly added to plastics to make them flexible (products such as garden hoses, athletic shoes, automobile and marine seating). Exposure occurs through ingestion, inhalation and, to a lesser extent, dermal contact. While such products are perfectly safe to use in their intended manner, the law still requires that we warn Californians of the presence of the chemical.
