Shakira Hangs Out with F1 Star Lewis Hamilton on Boat Outing After 2023 Miami Grand Prix

There's a "She Wolf" in your boat, Lewis Hamilton .

On Wednesday, Shakira was spotted hanging out with the British Formula One star and friends for a boat outing in Miami after attending the 2023 Grand Prix over the weekend.

The "Hips Don't Lie" performer, 46, donned a casual lavender look, while Hamilton, 38, wore swim trunks for the occasion — which came shortly after they reportedly met at Cipriani restaurant following the races.

At the Grand Prix, Shakira was also photographed enjoying the event with Tom Cruise as part of a group. Cruise, 60, also posed with Fast & Furious actors Vin Diesel and Ludacris at the race.

While chatting with Martin Brundle for Sky Sports on Sunday, Cruise did not hesitate to express his support for Hamilton. "Lewis always," he said. "He's a great friend of mine. I hope he has a great day."

The race was ultimately won by Dutch-Belgian driver Max Verstappen, with Hamilton placing sixth.

Shakira's attendance at the Grand Prix went down one day after she received Billboard's first Woman of the Year award at the inaugural Latin Women in Music gala . During her acceptance speech, she seemingly shared her thoughts on her headline-generating split from ex Gerard Piqué .

"This has been a year of seismic change in my life where I've felt more than ever — and very personally — what it is to be a woman," she told the audience while accepting her award .

"It's been a year where I've realized we women are stronger than we think, braver than we believed, more independent than we were taught to be," she continued.

"Because what woman hasn't at some time in her life forgotten herself because she's seeking the attention and love of someone else? It happened to me, more than once," she added.

Shakira, who announced her separation from the soccer star last June after first confirming their relationship in March 2011 , then talked about realizing her worth as a woman.

"But there comes a time in the life of every woman where she no longer depends on someone else to love and accept herself just as she is," she said. "A time when the search for someone else is replaced by the search for oneself."

Shakira added, "A time when the desire to be perfect is replaced by the desire to be authentic, and where finding someone who is faithful is less important than being faithful to ourselves."

She released her latest single, "Acróstico," on Friday — listen here .

In the case of Shakira, ever since her move to the US, the singer has been incredibly active, appearing on shows, events, and hanging out with some of her friends in the industry. Hamilton isn’t the only famous man that Shakira has been linked to in the past week; at Miami’s Grand Prix, she was photographed and recorded in conversation with  Tom Cruise . And while the two may be friends, a source claims that Cruise is “extremely interested” in pursuing her.

After taking a boat ride together in May, Shakira and Lewis Hamilton went out for cocktails with a group of friends after the F1 Grand Prix of Spain.

Shakira enjoyed another night out with  Lewis Hamilton   following her split from her longtime partner Gerard Pique . The Columbian superstar, 46, and the British racing driver, 38, grabbed cocktails with a group of friends on Sunday night (June 4) in Spain, after Shakira watched Lewis compete in the F1 Grand Prix. In a photo shared by singer Mustafa , Lewis wrapped his arm around Shakira’s waist as they posed with pals including Kardashian family friend Fai Khadra . Shakira looked super sexy as she cozied up next to Lewis in a black top with her hair down.

Hours before the group went out for drinks, Shakira was seen in the stands rooting on Lewis in the racing competition. Lewis ultimately finished second to Dutch-Belgian driver Max Verstappen , but he still felt like celebrating afterwards with his friends, including Shakira. And it’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time Shakira’s hung out with Lewis since she’s been single !

Shakira and Lewis were first spotted together out on a boat in Miami on May 10. Photos showed the F1 driver helping the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer on the boat before they set sail. Shakira and Lewis were joined by a group of friends on the outing, which marked the first time that the duo was romantically linked. After their post-F1 Grand Prix outing, it’s possible the two of them are indeed a thing.

Lewis isn’t the only guy Shakira’s sparked dating rumors with recently. At the F1 Grand Prix in Miami on May 7, she was seen  hanging out with  Tom Cruise , 60, both in the stands and on the racetrack. The two were photographed together, and a video showed them enjoying a laugh as they watched the race from a box. But Shakira hasn’t clarified her current relationship status since her June 2022 breakup with Gerard. The exes, who share sons Milan , 9, and  Sasha , 7, were together for 11 years, but they went their separate ways after Shakira allegedly learned that Gerard cheated with his now-girlfriend Clara Chia Marti , 24.

After the split, Shakira released a diss track that she said helped her connect with her female fans. “It’s been unbelievable to feel the reaction from so many people,” she told Jimmy Fallon in an interview in March. “I think that people really connect with music when it’s real and it’s genuine, it comes from a real place,” she added. “The thing with this song is that it has become like an anthem for so many women out there.”

She was also hanging out with actor Tom Cruise during the grid walk at last weekend’s F1 Miami Grand Prix.

Miles Chamley-Watson, an American fencer and one of Hamilton’s friends, was also on the yacht trip.

S hakira and Lewis Hamilton 's dinner after the Miami F1 Grand Prix is one of the hot topics this week. A video has been circulating on social media showing the Colombian singer at the Cipriani restaurant in the company of the seven-time Formula 1 world champion. In addition, during the race, she was also spotted chatting with Tom Cruise.

Last May 8, the artist wore a sensual tight black dress and entered a private room, where she spent a joyful evening with the Mercedes driver.

Until Wednesday, no one seemed to know if the stars knew each other before or whether they had friends in common. But this Thursday everything has changed.

It has been confirmed that Shakira has seen Hamilton again. The Sun and the Daily Mail have published pictures in which she is seen getting on a yacht on the coast of Miami, along with the pilot and other friends of his.

However, what is most striking is the singer-songwriter's attitude. She is smiling and chatty, something that didn't happen much in recent months in Barcelona.

It remains to be seen if Hamilton is the reason why she is happy or it is because of the release of her new single Acrostico on Thursday.

Last week Shakira was linked with Tom Cruise , with whom she was seen smiling at the GP in Miami. According to a person close to the singer, Shakira had a great time with the famous actor last Sunday. Even so, she would not consider having any kind of relationship with him.

"Shakira had a great time hanging out with Tom at F1 but she has no interest in dating him," a source told US Weekly.

"He was really nice and she enjoyed his company, but she isn't focused on dating him or anybody else at the moment. She has a lot on her plate and is focused on her kids and career for now.

"Shakira has seen the online rumors that Tom has been courting her - and how fans are chiming in with their opinions - but she thinks it's hilarious because it's just not true. She had a fun time when they chatted, but that's as far as things have gone."

And now, it seems the two are continuing their new-found friendship as they were spotted together on a luxurious yacht with their friends. The Sun and the Daily Mail have published photos of the two getting on the yacht, and fans can't stop talking about their second date.

On May 8, Shakira donned a form-fitting black dress as she entered a private room to spend an evening with Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time Formula 1 world champion. Prior to this, it was unclear if the pair had any prior connection or mutual friends, as per Marca .

Wearing a lilac fringed bikini top and matching shorts, Shakira, 46, boarded the boat with a smile and appeared to be greeted by Lewis, 38, who sported a white cap, sunglasses, a black sleeveless top, and checkerboard shorts. Just days before, the pair had dinner together at the Cipriani restaurant, after Lewis finished in sixth place at the Miami Grand Prix.

The second date comes just a few days after Shakira was seen chatting with Tom Cruise during the F1 Grand Prix in Miami. While the rumors were rife that the two were hitting it off, a source close to the singer has dismissed the rumors, saying that she has no interest in dating the actor.

Shakira has been spotted enjoying a day out with Lewis Hamilton as the pair soaked up the Miami sun – where the Formula 1 Grand Prix has recently being held.

Songstress Shakira split from her long-term partner Gerard Piqué last year and, after a bitter break up, the mum-of-two now appears to be embracing single life with open arms.

Footballing star Gerard, whom Sharkia shares two sons with, has already moved on with a PR student 12 years his junior .

As Gerard moves on, Shakira has been rubbing shoulders with Lewis, 36, as the pair joined a group of friends for a boat trip.

It’s believed that the Hips Don’t Lie hitmaker was picked up by Lewis at the back of her £20 million Miami mansion, with the racing driver offering her a hand as she climbed aboard the boat.

They were accompanied on the cruise by American fencer Miles Chamley-Watson, one of Lewis’ closest friends.

Their boat trip came just a day after both Lewis and Shakira were spotted dining in the same restaurant together.

While Lewis is likely to only be in town for the Grand Prix, Shakira relocated to Miami following her split from Gerard. The Colombian-born singer had resided in Spain for the duration of their relationship, where Gerard plays for Barcelona.

Lewis isn’t the only one Shakira has been seen spending time with of late, the 46 year old was also spotted with Tom Cruise as fans speculated if they were the next hot A-list couple.

Hollywood actor Tom is said to be “extremely interested” in the bachelorette, with the pair having so-called “chemistry” together.

A source continued to tell Page Six : “Shakira needs a soft pillow to fall on, and that could be Tom.”

The publication also claimed that Tom is so infatuated with the songstress that he allegedly sent her flowers.

However, much to the actor’s dismay, it’s said that Shakira has “no interest” in dating the Mission Impossible star.

“Shakira had a great time hanging out with Tom at F1 but she has no interest in dating him,” a source told Us Weekly after photos of the celebrity pair emerged.

“He was really nice and she enjoyed his company, but she isn’t focused on dating him or anybody else at the moment. She has a lot on her plate and is focused on her kids and career for now.”

Shakira’s career has been going swimmingly in the wake of her split from Gerard, with the hitmaker breaking 14 Guinness World Records in March for her diss track aimed at her footballer ex.

Hours after eyewitnesses revealed the duo 'crossed paths at a fancy restaurant' on Wednesday, the Formula 1 star, 38, picked up the 46-year-old Colombian superstar on a $230,000 speed boat, outside her $20 million waterfront mansion, located in Biscayne Bay.

As the singer met up with the British racing driver, he promptly extended his hand out to her as she climbed aboard. 

They were accompanied by 33-year-old American fencer Miles Chamley-Watson, one of Hamilton's closest friends.

For their outing, the mother-of-two showcased her famous curves in a purple fringed bikini top and matching shorts.

Shortly before the yacht day under the sun, the She Wolf songstress crossed paths with Lewis at Miami's Cipriani restaurant. Although the two didn't dine together, he sent a smile in her direction as she passed his table.

Shakira was later spotted attending the F1 Grand Prix of Spain at Circuit de Barcelona-Cataluny over this past weekend on June 4, and watched Hamilton compete from the stands.

He came in second place, with Max Verstappen taking the first place victory. Afterwards, the two enjoyed a night out on the town, and appeared in an Instagram photo shared by singer-songwriter, Mustafa.

Hamilton's left arm could be seen wrapped around Shakira's waist as they flashed cheerful smiles to the camera. In a caption added towards the bottom of the snap, Mustafa penned, 'May God protect the engineers.'

The budding romance with the British race car driver comes after Shakira officially split from soccer player and longtime partner, Gerard Pique, last year in June 2022. The former couple share sons Milan, 10, and Sasha, eight.

She first began publicly dating the sports star in March 2011 after meeting on set of the music video for Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).

However, the pair announced their split years later with a joint statement, per Page Six . 'We regret to confirm that we are separating.'

'For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect our privacy. Thank you for your understanding.'

Following the break up, allegations that Gerard had cheated on the star circulated, but both Shakira and Pique never commented on the claims. In late November 2022, the former couple came to a custody agreement over their sons.

'Our sole objective is to provide our children with the utmost security and protection and hope that they can continue with their lives in a safe and calm environment,' the two stated at the time to People .

A source informed the publication that the agreement is 'best for their kids,' and further revealed, 'For eight years they have been living in Barcelona, but she and the kids are moving to Miami, where all her maternal family live.'

Earlier this year in April, Shakira made the official move from Spain to Miami, Florida, and shared a post on Instagram to reminisce on her time in Barcelona and sent gratitude for the years spent there.

However, a source told Us Weekly that she is not taking the romance rumors with Tom seriously and finds the speculation 'hilarious.'

'Shakira had a great time hanging out with Tom at F1 but she has no interest in dating him. He was really nice and she enjoyed his company, but she isn't focused on dating him or anybody else at the moment.'

The insider added that, 'She has a lot on her plate and is focused on her kids and career for now.'

One of the hottest topics this week is the meal that Shakira and Lewis Hamilton had after the Miami F1 Grand Prix. 

Social media users have been sharing a video of the Colombian singer dining with the seven-time Formula 1 world champion at Cipriani . 

Additionally, she was seen speaking with Tom Cruise as they were racing.

The artist entered a private room wearing a sensuous, tight-fitting black outfit and had a fun evening with the Mercedes driver.

Nobody appeared to know if the stars knew each other before Wednesday or if they shared acquaintances, but as of this Thursday, everything has changed.

Mercedes luminary Lewis Hamilton was recently spotted with celebrity singer Shakira enjoying a sunny boat ride cruising around Biscayne Bay in Miami. This was the second time in the last few days when the duo was seen in company. Earlier this week, paps snapped them at a cozy dinner after the Miami GP, which the Colombian singer was attending. The two stalwarts of their respective fields are were not known to be close before this. However, they sure seem to enjoy the company of one another since their meet at the race weekend in Miami. On their recent meet, Shakira was seen donning a fringed lilac top and matching shorts. Meanwhile, Hamilton, who is known for his richly curated outfits, sported a black sleeveless top and checkerboard shorts along with a white hat and sunglasses.

LEWIS HAMILTON has been enjoying some downtime in Ibiza after coming third at last weekend's British Grand Prix.

The 38-year-old grabbed a place on the podium at Silverstone, before partying into the night with pop superstar Shakira .

Having flown over to watch Sir Lewis at the British GP, Shakira joined him at celeb haunt Tape London - with the pair chatting together before she left at around 3:30am.

With Formula 1 stars having this weekend off, Hamilton has headed to Ibiza for some relaxation.

The Mercedes star has been hanging out on a yacht in the sunshine, and was joined by some other famous faces.

Hamilton was pictured alongside 20-year-old Jenny Stray Spetalen, daughter of Norwegian tycoon Oystein Stray Spetalen.

Jenny has previously tried her hand at tennis.

She competed in singles at three tournaments in Norway between 2016 and 2019 - but won just two games across three matches.

The 46-year-old was in attendance on Centre Court as Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz booked their places in Sunday's final.

Also in attendance at Wimbledon this week has been Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler.

Shakira is rumoured to be dating the 33-year-old, with the duo heading out in Mayfair together earlier this week.

Hamilton is set to return to action next week at the Hungarian Grand Prix.

The seven-time world champion will attempt to grab his first win since 2021, although Max Verstappen will be tough to stop in his far superior Red Bull.

LEWIS HAMILTON has been enjoying some downtime in Ibiza after coming third at last weekend's British Grand Prix.

The 38-year-old grabbed a place on the podium at Silverstone, before partying into the night with pop superstar Shakira .

Having flown over to watch Sir Lewis at the British GP, Shakira joined him at celeb haunt Tape London - with the pair chatting together before she left at around 3:30am.

With Formula 1 stars having this weekend off, Hamilton has headed to Ibiza for some relaxation.

The Mercedes star has been hanging out on a yacht in the sunshine, and was joined by some other famous faces.

Hamilton was pictured alongside 20-year-old Jenny Stray Spetalen, daughter of Norwegian tycoon Oystein Stray Spetalen.

Also onboard were Mexican actress Eiza Gonzalez, Romeo + Juliet director Baz Luhrmann and his wife Catherine Martin.

Jenny has previously tried her hand at tennis.

She competed in singles at three tournaments in Norway between 2016 and 2019 - but won just two games across three matches.
