“Knot Last One” boasts a very well-laid-out interior and exterior, with clever and creative design features throughout and accommodations for 4-5 adults. Covered side decks, a molded fiberglass curved staircase leading to the bridge (no ladder!) and sliding salon entry doors aft and adjacent the lower helm, and sturdy railins and well-placed handrails provide for safe and easy movement throughout the vessel and added visibility/maneuverability for docking and anchoring.

Spacious cockpit is great for relaxing, entertaining, fishing, or accessing the water for watersports activities! Safe and secure ingress/egress between dock and vessel can be made from the stern via the large swim platform and transom door. Seawise davit system on swim platform makes for near effortless dingy stowage.

The spacious salon features an extendable settee to starboard and an L-shaped settee and teak fold-out dining table to port, both capable of serving as berths for additional guests. Large side windows flood the interior with natural light and slide open for extra ventilation. Beautiful joinery throughout adds a feeling of warmth to the vessel while also remaining light and airy.

The galley to port features ample counter space and storage, a three-burner propane stove, an oven, and a stainless-steel sink. On top of the counter aft of the helm station is a separate freezer with a refrigerator underneath.

The private forward cabin, located four steps belowdecks, includes a centerline queen-size berth with ample storage underneath and in custom designed drawers. Cleverly designed head is separated into a head/vanity compartment and completely separate shower stall, allowing both to be used concurrently and privately.

The helmsman has a choice of controlling the vessel from either the conditioned lower helm or the spacious flybridge protected by a full enclosure. Both stations feature a complete electronics suite, including a multi-function Garmin 4210 GPS/chartplotter/depth sounder/radar with NMEA 2000 networking, Simrad autopilot with remote, AIS capable Icom VHF radio, SmartCraft engine management system, controls for the Vetus bow thruster, and controls for the Lewmar Pro Series windlass (equipped with 150 ft 3/8 BB Chain & 125 Rode and 20 KG SS anchor). The flybrige features L-shaped seating, and a removable full canvas enclosure to provide shelter from the elements.

The vessel is powered by a very well maintained 230hp Cummins QSB5.9 diesel engine with only 670 hours. The engine room is very well laid out with ample room for engine and systems maintenance, extra storage for spare parts and supplies, and plenty of insulation to keep operating noise to a minimum. NexGen 5.5 kW Generator (160 hours) with sound enclosure was installed in 2022 and provides ample power for all systems while out cruising or at anchor. Xantrex Battery Charger, 3000 Watt Pure Sin Wave Inverter, and 8D Start & (2) 8D House batteries aid in onboard power management. 16KBTU Cool-Mar reverse cycle A/C & heater keep interior temps comfortable and consistent, no matter the season or location!

+ INTERIOR ACCOMODATIONS AND LAYOUT

ACADIA sleeps six in three private cabins, plus 2-3 in the main salon. The interior joiner work is varnished teak with a satin finish with generous solid teak trim, louvered locker doors and raised panel cabin doors throughout. Cabin soles are varnished bamboo with contrasting teak inlays. White fabric overhead panels with Oceanair hatch screens and blinds in all cabins. Interior fabric is all white Ultraleather (2018) in excellent condition.  There are LED overhead, reading and courtesy lights throughout (all new 2017), as well as 12 volt adjustable cabin fans throughout.   

Forward Cabin 

Starting forward, this cabin features a large centerline queen-plus berth. There are full length lockers above, port and starboard, and large split lockers under berth which also lifts up with gas assist lifting arm. Additional storage includes a hanging locker, two drop front lockers and a locker with shelves.  A large 2x2 deck hatch provides nice light and ventilation 

Port Cabin 

The second guest cabin is aft and to port, featuring large upper and lower berths and lots of floor space. There are three large louvered lockers with shelves, two drawers and several louvered lockers outboard upper berth. An opening hatch and two opening portholes provide excellent light and ventilation. 

Forward Head 

Opposite to starboard is the forward guest head which features a vanity with stone counter and sink, mirrored lockers and a Jabsco electric toilet. Adjacent is a separate shower stall with fold down teak seat. There are two access doors – one private from the forward cabin and one from the passageway. A deck hatch and two portholes keep the area well ventilated. 

Main Salon 

The spacious main salon is bright and open thanks to the raised deckhouse design with extra headroom, large windows and numerous deck hatches and portlights. To port is a comfortable dinette with L-settee outboard and folding seat inboard. The custom dining table, with a removable center leaf, can be lowered to convert to a double berth. To starboard is a full-length settee with a concealed Sony 32” flatscreen outboard on electric lift. There are multiple storage compartments under, outboard and above both of the settees. There is also a full height cabinet aft of mast with shelves, and a cabinet for storage of table leaf and companionway hatch boards. Other details include continuous handrails port and starboard and a Weems & Plath clock and barometer 

Nav Station 

Aft and to port is an L-shaped nav station with adjustable pedestal chair. There is a full-size chart table facing outboard and a lift-up laptop table inboard. Here one finds communication/nav equipment, as well as electrical breaker panels and main switches.   

Galley 

One of the impressive design features of the Hylas 54 is the immense galley that runs aft for 11’ between the salon and owner’s cabin. No lack of counter and storage space here - there are many lockers and drawers both inboard and outboard, including a full-height pantry.

There are numerous drawers and lockers including a deep hanging locker on centerline with hidden safe, six drawers, and large cedar-lined lockers outboard, with shelves. There is a full-length mirror and a Sony 20” flatscreen TV. Four opening portholes, two hull portlights and a large deck hatch provide plenty of light and ventilation.  

Owner's Head 

The private ensuite head features a vanity with stone counter and sink, mirrored lockers and a Jabsco electric toilet. A private shower stall is attached, with fold-down seat and washer/dryer outboard.

Great service from Geraint and the rest of the team when selling our yacht. This was a long process requiring patience and diligence, but the whole team pulled together to push the sale though and no stone was left unturned when it came to sorting out unexpected issues. So many thanks for all your hard work - much appreciated.

We found Ancasta, Leo, Rupert and the team at Port Solent office, incredibly helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. This was our first boat and we uncertain about the process, with their help it was simple, any questions we had, and we had a lot, were answered quickly. Collection of the boat was made simple, all paperwork was provided and importantly, explained to us, the boat was inspected, Leo’s knowledge of the operation and explanations of this boat were helpful and for myself a must. The bottle of champagne he brought for us was so appreciated, this together with the assurance that we could still contact Ancasta for any help / advice after we sailed was away, again very reassuring. After several months of looking and two failed surveys, I have just completed the purchase of my first boat, a Jeanneau Merry Fisher 795. As a newcomer to boating I have to admit my first impression of boat brokers was pretty poor (compared to other industries I deal with) - descriptions were definitely on the optimistic side, boats were untidy, dirty and generally poorly presented. No excuses, just very poor sales and I would be careful who to list my boat with in the future. Then I came across Ancasta (Leo Walters) who shone bright like a beacon. The description of the boat was accurate, minor faults highlighted and extra pictures provided on request. Communications with Ancasta have been excellent, the boat was very well presented for inspection and after sales Ancasta remained interested to ensure my experience was positive. I wouldn't hesitate going to Ancasta for another purchase and if you are thinking of selling a boat, consider using Ancasta, you will get better service and value for money than many other brokers out there. And as a buying customer I would feel confident buying through them so you would be more likely to sell to me!

I was amazed at the outstanding level of support and effectiveness Geraint and the team at Port Solent have provided through the sale of our yacht.  They achieved a very fair price in a short period of time – a far better outcome than my previous yacht sale experiences.  I would gladly recommend using Ancasta for yacht sales to my friends and family.
