Booked with George and AnnMarie for my brother's birthday and I would 100 percent do it again. They were super accommodating to my crazy family and gave us a great price on the rental for 4 hours. The yacht itself is super spacious both inside and outside, and provides different levels for sunbathing, eating, and just lounging. The hospitality from George was top notch during the boat trip and made it that much more memorable. We were able to play our music and swim in a designated area as well. I recommend booking with them to everyone I know. You won't regret it.

Former Microsoft boss’ $15m superyacht spotted at Port of Aberdeen

A $15m superyacht owned by tech boss Nathan Myhrvold has berthed at the Port of Aberdeen this week.

The impressive vessel was spotted docked along Regent Quay in the North Harbour, its sleek design standing out against other larger work vessels docked.

Named Teleost the 160ft yacht was built in 1998 at a cost of $15m by renowned shipbuilders Feadship.

The interior is tastefully decorated and incorporating the 90s aesthetic with plush furnishings and dark wood panelling.

Some unique features included two tenders on the back as well as a hot tub on the fly bridge.

The yacht can reach a top speed of 15 knots.

Owner Nathan Myhrvold was a prominent figure at Microsoft during the 1980 and 90s culminating in his position as Chief Technology Officer in 1996.

In 2000 he started a new company called Intellectual Ventures which deals with patents, which has become very lucrative.

The tech boss is now worth more than $700m.

Teleost is the second superyacht to make an appearance in Aberdeen following the Elysian, a £66m craft owned by John W Henry – a major shareholder in Liverpool FC.

ATHENS, Greece -- Smugglers ferrying migrants from Turkey to Greece's eastern islands have in two cases adopted the new and dangerous tactic of knocking some passengers off their speedboats into the sea to avoid capture by pursuing coast guards, Greek authorities say.

All eight migrants were rescued in both cases, which occurred over the weekend. The incidents come as smugglers using speedboats, instead of the flimsy inflatable dinghies with small engines they favored for years, adopt increasingly aggressive tactics to dodge Greek marine patrols.

Last week, coast guards opened fire , killing one migrant, after a speedboat allegedly rammed their vessel in the eastern Aegean Sea during a chase.

The Greek coast guard said Tuesday that in one case over the weekend a Palestinian and an Afghan man piloting a speedboat also tried to ram a pursuing patrol boat off the island of Kos. It said they then allegedly forced five passengers to jump into the sea, escaping towards the island as the coast guards stopped to rescue the migrants.

Thirty migrants from the boat were later located on land, while the two suspected smugglers were arrested.

In a second incident off the island of Symi, three migrants were forced off the smuggling boat in mid-chase, the Greek coast guard said. That allowed the smugglers to return to Turkish waters with their remaining passengers, who were picked up by the Turkish coast guard.

The three migrants rescued in Greek waters said they had paid $4.500 each to be ferried across, according to a Greek coast guard statement.

Smuggling gangs have adapted in recent months to deal with Greece's tight policing of eastern Aegean waters. Apart from aggressive use of high-powered speedboats, they have also followed new routes through the central Aegean, while there has been an increase in migrants making the much longer journey from Libya to the southern Greek island of Crete.

Separately Tuesday, the Greek coast guard said that a total of 42 people in two speedboats crossed from Turkey to the eastern island of Leros in the past 24 hours Two suspected smugglers were arrested among the migrants on land, while a third was taken into custody at sea following a chase, a coast guard statement said.

According to data from the United Nations refugee agency, about 31,500 migrants have arrived illegally in Greece so far this year. That's slightly fewer than the numbers reaching Italy and Spain, the main gateways for people trying to enter Europe illegally.

Capt. Stuart Mackie and Chef/Mate Hannah Angel Stu and Hannah have been working on charter boats for over 5 years in the BVI and Bahamas. They have a passion for hospitality and strive to do their best to give their guests a vacation of a lifetime. Stu and Hannah met in 2013 in their home town of Southampton in the UK. Stu was working on a mega yacht, and during his second season aboard, whilst on a period of leave, he met Hannah. They decided to pursue a career together, and after a season in Turkey, came to the British Virgin Islands to work on charter catamarans. Having grown up in Scotland, a stone’s throw from the sea, Stu has loved being on and around the water since childhood. In 2011 he decided to pursue his dream of sailing. After training for a year including a Trans-Atlantic, he left the UK to work on 250 ft mega yacht. Stu loves to share his knowledge of yachting and the local marine life. He has a passion for free diving, spear fishing, scuba diving, game fishing and all water sports. Hannah has worked in multiple areas of hospitality during her career and is a graduate of the award winning Ashburton School of Cookery in the UK, where she worked with many talented chefs. She loves creating fun, fresh foods that look and taste amazing. Hannah has a bubbly personality and loves the social side of her work. She adores meeting new people and will make you laugh with her funny stories. Stu and Hannah are an easy going couple that will focus your charter around your ideas. They want you to do the things you enjoy most at your preferred pace - relaxed or what's next. Having grown up in Scotland, a stone’s throw from the sea, Stu has loved being on and around the water since childhood. In 2011 he decided to pursue his dream of sailing. After training for a year including a Trans-Atlantic, he left the UK to work on 250 ft mega yacht. Stu loves to share his knowledge of yachting and the local marine life. He has a passion for free diving, spear fishing, scuba diving, game fishing and all water sports. Hannah has worked in multiple areas of hospitality during her career and is a graduate of the award winning Ashburton School of Cookery in the UK, where she worked with many talented chefs. She loves creating fun, fresh foods that look and taste amazing. Hannah has a bubbly personality and loves the social side of her work. Their love for their job will be evident as soon as you meet them and you will be sure to want to continue to sail with them for years to come. Nathan and Laura are highly experienced, award winning crew and have completed over 130 luxury charters since 2011. Since meeting they dedicated their lives to the charter industry and placed much energy in becoming the best crew for their guests, even winning Crew of the Year in 2013 by Trade Winds Cruise Club. Their experiences in their previous careers and within the charter industry, revolving very much around customer service and care, has given them the ability to adapt to any given circumstances, requests and needs of their guests, individually and as a group. Capt. Nathan Kurton Nathan is a captain with many additional skills. Not only does he have an approachable, warm personality but he is also an extremely skilled sailor. He will happily teach you the joy of sailing whilst keeping everybody feeling safe and happy the whole trip. Nathan has an eye for detail and will keep the yacht spotless for your stay. In his previous career he was a very skilled electrician, which enables him to maintain such a beautiful yet technical yacht like SEA BOSS. Nathan grew up on the water, skiing and wakeboarding from an early age. Laura introduced him to the sport of dinghy sailing when they met in 2008 and he was hooked! An obvious natural to sailing and with their love for the water, Nathan and Laura decided together to embark on their sailing career.

Chef/Mate Laura Kurton Laura is a very talented chef and enjoys all aspects of cooking including catering for your dietary needs. Not only is she amazing in the galley but Laura always makes time to be with her guests to ensure that they are happy and receiving everything they need. She has expanded her cooking repertoire by gaining experience through various courses at the prestigious Ashburton School of Cookery in the UK and obtaining her Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification. She’s very versatile and can make a great cocktail as well as help Nathan with sailing Sea Boss. Laura is very clean, professional and is always smiling and happy. She loves to sing and dance and you may catch her doing both of these whilst in her favorite place, the galley! Also a qualified captain and having sailed since she was a child, Laura will ensure you have the greatest vacation you could ever dream of! Nathan and Laura have been married since July 2010 and are the perfect team. They met in their home town in the South West of the UK where they both grew up and now in their 30’s, their fun loving personalities and vast knowledge of the water guarantees to provide you with a unique and unforgettable experience. They take much pride in their work and know only too well how important their professionalism and flexibility can impact your charter to make it the best you have ever experienced. Most of all they understand perfectly how important vacation time is to their guests and focus on their enjoyment above anything else throughout their stay.
