Graupner Saphir Sailboats. hi martin,tom here this is my saphir which is my first sailboat.i also have a victoria and i have more fun with the saphir.i haven't sailed it a lot but when i did i was in about 20mph wind and it was a blast.size wise mine measures almost 38 inches,it's a little beamy but for pleasure they seem to be great.i think i am the only one in the usa with one.tom

Discussion My first RC project - Graupner Saphir Sailboats. Knowing from experience how thin the affected parts might be, I'd use filler paste to level things up a bit before lightly sanding. From your photos, I think you should have a word with your model supplier or even Graupner themselves.

That's a nice looking rig and actually I can see a certain compatability between it and your sailboats. Take your sailboat along and when you find that "special cove" with the winds and water just right, drop anchor and bust out the sailboat.[8D] Have the best of both worlds.
