North of Sydney along the east coast of New South Wales, Newcastle is characterised by golden sand beaches, a breath-taking coastline and vibrant harbour. A city with a rich maritime history, there is plenty to discover both on land and in the surrounding cruising grounds of Newcastle.
The beaches of Newcastle are free from overbearing crowds, making them ideal spots to continue the exclusivity of a superyacht adventure. With plenty of coastal walks, beach-side eateries, ocean pools and surf, Newcastle is a destination where the outdoors is at the centre of everything.
The Bogey Hole ocean pool is a picture-perfect attraction and an iconic spot in Newcastle. A famous swimming hole, this was hand-hewn out of a wave cut rock in 1819 for Major James Morisset, and was originally referred to as the ‘Commandant’s Baths’. The earliest known purpose-built ocean swimming pool in Australia, the Bogey Hole now attracts visitors from all over the country and world.
Whether surfing, cycling, walking or sailing, there is an abundant natural landscape that will simply leave you in awe. There is also a fantastic culinary scene in Newcastle, with everything from quaint cafes to fine dining restaurants and cocktails bars for sundowners. A General Description of Motor Yacht NEWCASTLE EXPLORER
Newcastle Marine completed the building motor yacht NEWCASTLE EXPLORER in 2001. The yacht is built within the United States. NEWCASTLE EXPLORER had her yacht design work compiled by Murray & Associates and Murray & Associates. This superyacht NEWCASTLE EXPLORER is able to accommodate overnight the sum total of 6 aboard together with around 5 operating crew. Finished and launched in the year of 2001 the comparatively recent interior decoration confirms the integrity emanating from the boards of Octavio Rezende.
Shipyard Work & Design for Luxury Yacht NEWCASTLE EXPLORER
Murray & Associates was the naval architect involved in the professional nautical plans for NEWCASTLE EXPLORER. Also the company Murray & Associates skillfully worked on this venture. Interior designer Octavio Rezende was responsible for the creative interior ambience. the United States is the country that Newcastle Marine built their new build motor yacht in. After formal launch in 2001 in Palm Coast Fl she was passed over to the owner having completed final finishing. A moderate feeling is achieved with a widest beam (width) of 7.62 m / 25 feet. With a 2.13m (7ft) draught (maximum depth) she is reasonably shallow. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is created out of aluminium.
Main Engines And The Crusie Speed That M/Y NEWCASTLE EXPLORER is Able To Achieve:
The 3406C engine installed in the motor yacht is made by CATERPILLAR. Her propulsion units are twin screw propellers. The main engine of the ship generates 400 horse power (or 294 kilowatts). She is equiped with 2 engines. The combined power for the yacht is 800 HP or 589 KW. As for stabalisers she was supplied with Wesmar. The bow thrusters are Wesmar.
