Seamaster sailer 925, (previously known as the seamaster 28 sailer and the seamaster 880 sailer).
Designed by Holman & Pye in 1972 this design was introduced as the 28 and was also known as the 880. 153 craft were made and 137 were called 925s.

Volvo Penta MD6A or MD1B (6 & 10 hp respectively)

The Seamaster 925 was featured in the December 2000 issue of Sailing Today. They compared it with several other boats of similar size and concluded that "Although an older design, this boat was ahead of its time in many ways and is good value for money." They gave a guide price of about £16,000 to £20,000.

We are pleased to present this Seamaster 925, designed by the well regarded Holman and Pye. These boats have a reputation as sturdy cruisers with good performance, easy handling and good seakeeping qualities.
When I visited the boat, this Seamaster 925 looks to have been well-maintained and has benefitted from generous investment, as detailed in the listing, including LED lighting throughout and a new chart plotter with AIS.
The rigging and sails are recent and the engine has low hours. She has been dried ashore annually in the current ownership and reported to have been stored ashore for some years by the first owner.
The accommodation is well designed for the size of this boat, with good headroom and plenty of storage, a comfortable saloon, a galley equipped with 2-burner cooker, oven and grill, 5/6 berths and separate heads.
The hull has been recently antifouled and polished ready for the summer season. This would be equally suitable for crusing, racing, single handed or for families. With reported light use over her years which can be seen as she presents in a nice condition, both inside and out and is well worth serious consideration.

Seamaster 925 Sailing yacht for sale. Designed by Holman and Pye, Seamaster Ltd built over 170 of the Seamaster 925's, they have proven to be good solid cruising yachts which are "well mannered and rewarding to sail". Undaunted, is a fin keel yacht, sloop rigged with battened mainsail and furling genoa. Volvo 20 hp engine. All lines lead aft to enable short handed sailing. Below decks, "Undaunted" offers a good size main saloon which also houses the galley and single berth in the port aft quarter. A clever fold out chart table to port and a dinning area which converts to a double bert to port and single berth to starboard. Forward is the head, good storage area and vee berth arrangement in the bow. In the broker's opinion, Undaunted presents extremely well, and offers very good value for money. Viewing is recommended.
