The lavish European wedding will be the third time the loved-up couple have tied the knot, following their unofficial nuptials after the Grammys in Las Vegas and their legal ceremony in Santa Barbra.

Kourtney and Travis   shared their first photos as newlyweds with their Instagram followers earlier this week.

Less than 24 hours after legally tying the knot in Santa Barbara, the reality star posted a slideshow of black and white photos from their big day.

'Till death do us part,' the mother-of-three captioned the snaps, featuring her straddling her spouse on top of a black convertible with 'just married' on the bumper before getting into the car and sharing a passionate kiss.

Cornered off: Areas of the street and parking spaces were cornered off for the wedding party and their entourage

The Blink-182 drummer posted an identical caption and same images of their big day as they announced the news to their fans and loved ones.

The lovebirds, who became engaged in October 2021, exchanged vows with a small number of loved ones and their security, including her maternal grandmother Mary Jo 'MJ' Campbell and Travis' dad Randy, at the weekend.

After getting hitched, the reality star and drummer were seen driving off in a vintage car.

For her big day, Kourtney was seen wearing a short white dress with a plunging neckline and red heart adorned on the bodice and a traditional veil over her dark tresses, which were pulled back for the occasion.

She styled her $1,825 Dolce & Gabbana lace bustier frock with a pair of sheer gloves and matching veil.

Known for their love of matching, the star and her husband wore coordinated shoes for their big day. While she opted for a pair of burgundy velvet pumps, Travis matched her in trendy men's Rockabilly shoes in the same color.

Kourtney later shared a snap of their cookie cake iced with 'Mr. and Mrs. Barker' from Command Entertainment Group PR owner Simon Huck and his husband Phil Riportella.

At the time of her prior Vegas wedding, Kourtney took to Instagram to share a gallery of snaps from the nuptials as she said that some drinking lead to the impromptu wedding in Sin City.

She captioned the gallery of retro snaps to her 168million followers: 'Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license).'

She also confirmed that it was not an actual legal ceremony as they did not have a marriage license but it will help them for their actual wedding as she wrote 'Practice makes perfect.'

Under her leather jacket Kourtney wore a yellow 2012 vintage Versace bustier with a huge crystal gothic cross down the middle as she and her man packed on the PDA by sharing several kisses.

They both also sported a pair of black designer sunglasses, with Travis opting for Enfants Riches Déprimés shades. The musician opted to show off his body art by going shirtless under the outerwear.

Kourtney's social media post was met with much joy from her celebrity family and friends in addition to her loyal followers as many commented on the post sending their love.

Travis commented on the post with two people wearing formalwear emojis with a female gender symbol in between as younger sister Kim replied with four house emojis.

The chapel's wedding packages range in price from $99-$699, with the couple purchasing the One Love Affair package for $199, paying extra for the Elvis impersonator, according to In Touch.

The priciest package includes a limo, photo shoot, a wedding concierge, choice of love song, a fresh rose bouquet and garter belt for the bride, wedding video and a rose petal entrance, but the Kravis' budget ceremony was a simpler affair which lasted 30-40 minutes.

It was a private early morning wedding, according to TMZ , who reported that the pair did not allow the venue to take any photos and opted to bring their own photographer and security.

Kourtney and Travis famously were engaged during a romantic beachside proposal in Montecito, California, in October.

Barker's daughter Alabama, now 16, shared a first look at the massive sparkler — which was oval-shaped and appeared to be at least 15 carats and designed by jeweler Lorraine Schwartz — as they enjoyed an intimate engagement dinner with family and friends after the proposal, with additional footage shared throughout the evening. The ring is estimated to be worth at least $1million.

The proposal took place at 6:30 pm; family members from both sides were in attendance to usher in the happy couple.

The loved-up duo were longtime friends for a decade, before they began dating in the latter part of 2020, and went Instagram official just after Valentine's Day 2021.

Wild PDAs, IVF struggles, and THREE weddings: A look back at Kravis' whirlwind romance history

They're saying 'I do' for a third time this weekend in Portofino, Italy in front of a close circle of family and friends. Here, DailyMail.com takes a look back at the three weddings, wild PDAs, IVF struggles and whirlwind romance of Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker...

Travis' first Kardashian crush on Kim

Having been a friend of the family for years, Travis Barker first showed his interest in the KarJenner clan when he confessed to first being attracted to Kim Kardashian - not Kourtney - back when she was an assistant to Paris Hilton around 2006.

'How could you not stare at Kim? Mind you, I enjoyed hanging out with Paris, but I love curvy girls,' Travis admitted in 2015. 'Kim was eye candy. I was no way disrespectful to Paris, but I couldn't keep my eyes off Kim!'

Travis went on to say he spent time with Kim in their Calabasas neighborhood and while he had a 'crush' on her, he said 'nothing ever happened.'

Getting to know the family

Travis then made several appearances on Keeping Up with the Kardashians while he was still married to ex-wife Shanna Moakler, cementing his status as a true Kardashian family friend.

His daughter Alabama revealed in October 2017 that she had been bonding with the Kardashians, along with her father, though she did not specifically mention Kourtney.

'Actually, the other night I had dinner with all of them and they were really sweet,' she said at the time. Travis shares Alabama and a son Landon with his ex Moakler, who he was married to from 2004 to 2008.

Dating rumors

Kourtney and Travis first sparked romance rumors when they were spotted on what appeared to be a date together in 2018 Los Angeles.

For their evening out, the duo attended an evening service at the famed celebrity Hillsong Church, and then later went out for a vegan dinner at Crossroads where they dined with Kourtney's pal Larsa Pippen.

At the time, Kourtney had broken up with French model Younes Bendjima just a few months before.

From friends to lovers

Their relationship was confirmed in January 2021 after growing closer during the pandemic, as Kourtney recently revealed she made the first move while the pair were enjoying a friendly movie night together.

'I was definitely always attracted to Travis. I think it was just the right time in my life,' she said on the show this year, adding: 'We were texting and I put it out there, like flirtatious conversation.'

After Travis failed to make a move and went to put on a second movie for them to watch, Kourtney took action: 'I was like, "I don't have time for this movie marathon,’" so I made the first move.'

Their relationship is going from strength to strength, with the lovebirds happily putting racy public displays of affection on social media.

PDA power couple

'Kravis' became Instagram official for Valentines in February 2021 with Kourtney posting a picture of the pair holding hands, but that was just the start of the wild PDAs that followed. By April, Travis posted a blurry snap of them making out, while they later revealed their signature move on Kourtney straddling the Blink 182 drummer in the Utah desert.

Their PDAs reached a fever pitch in August last year, when Scott Disick reached out to her ex Younes Bendjima on Instagram after seeing Kourtney straddle Travis on a gondola. He later apologized.

They made their red carpet debut at the VMAs in September last year, and their display of tongue-kissing for the cameras set the tone for many more PDA-heavy events including this year's Met Gala.

IVF struggles

While the couple's romance has seen many highs, Kourtney has revealed they've also faced heartbreak as she's struggled to have a child with Travis.

In an episode of the Kardashians, Kourt confessed their doctor had taken them down 'this road of doing IVF' saying 'it hasn't been the most amazing experience.'

The reality star is mother to Mason, 12; Penelope, nine; and Reign, seven — with her former partner Scott Disick, whom she dated from 2005 until 2015.

A romantic proposal

Travis popped the question in October to Kourtney, whisking her away to a beach in Montecito, California, as the special moment was captured for the Kardashians Hulu reality show.

Later, it was revealed there was drama as Kris Jenner made the call not to include Kourtney's children in the happy moment - which resulted in her daughter Penelope becoming upset.

'I woke up all night thinking it was a dream,' Kourtney gushed on Instagram at the time.

Three weddings

Not content with just one ceremony, Kravis kicked things off with a drunken Las Vegas wedding in April this year after partying at the Grammy Awards. But the wedding was void as it was revealed the loved-up couple did not have the correct paperwork.

In the run up to their big wedding in Italy, Kravis legally tied the knot in Santa Barbara in May with her grandmother Mary Jo "MJ" Campbell present, as well as Travis' father Randy Barker. The pair drove off in a vintage lowrider convertible with a 'Just Married' sign.

However, the couple really pulled out the stops for their big bash in Portofino renting out an entire castle for their family and friends. The pair chose the historic house museum Castello Brown located on a hill above Portofino harbour for their official big celebration.

See Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's Dramatic Leap From a Yacht After Their Italian Wedding

Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian

The couple took a plunge into the Mediterranean following their lavish wedding on Sunday.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker  took the ultimate plunge, and we don't mean by getting married. Following their lavish wedding in Portofino, Italy, the couple, who are honeymooning on a yacht on the Mediterranean, took a dip into the clear blue water on Monday to celebrate saying, "I do."

The yacht, named the  Fatima , is owned by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, whose villa Kourtney and Travis got married at on Sunday,  People  reports.

In the pics, Travis, who was dressed in a black two-piece outfit, the top of which he kept unbuttoned, and Kourtney, who was wearing a flowing, black swimsuit cover-up over a black bikini, hold hands as they jump off the yacht and into the sea.

The couple, who were all smiles as they dove in,  hosted a red-carpeted ceremony at the Dolce & Gabbana-owned, Villa Olivetta on Sunday. The full Kardashian-Jenner entourage came decked out in luxurious Dolce & Gabbana attire (complete with the Dolce and Gabbana couple in attendance!).

Kourtney wore a short, white silk lace and corseted satin dress inspired by iconic figures of Italian lingerie.  Dolce & Gabbana told ET  that the corset "enhances the silhouette thanks to a design rich in exquisite cuts and realized following expert tailoring techniques that emphasize femininity."

For the ceremony, she paired the dress with a cathedral-length lace veil, embroidered with floral lace appliqués inspired by the flowers of the Portofino gardens. The design also pulled from Travis’ Virgin Mary tattoo on his head. She completed the look with tulle gloves and lace pumps.

The bride switched to a short veil for the party, which is what she’s seen wearing during her first dance. She later changed into black for the garter toss.

Kourtney and Travis first exchanged vows in April, when they held a  late-night ceremony in Las Vegas  following the 2022 GRAMMY Awards. The couple then  legally tied the knot  with only a few witnesses in a California courthouse earlier this month before heading to Italy for this celebration.

All About the Superyachts Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker Are Using at Their Wedding

The couple and their guests are staying in special accommodations for the wedding

dolce and gabbana yacht kardashian

Guests at Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker 's wedding are forgoing hotels for lavish yachts and villa accommodations.

PEOPLE can confirm that superyachts Regina D'Italia and the Fatima , along with a nearby Olivetta villa complex, are where the 50-person wedding party are staying for the big event.

The Regina D'Italia , which was sold by fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana in 2019, is a 65m superyacht worth around $50 million, while the Fatima — still currently owned by Dolce & Gabbana — is a slightly smaller vessel, measuring 35m.

According to Yacht Charter Fleet , the Regina D'Italia is set to accommodate up to 14 guests in 7 suites, all designed by Italian design house Codecasa. Not only does the yacht feature an elevator and a swimming pool, but it also has a beauty salon on board.

Fatima can accommodate up to 10 guests, SuperYacht Times reported. The interior was designed by Mauro Micheli, of Officina Italiana Design.

For more on Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's Italian wedding, listen below to our daily podcast PEOPLE Every Day.

On Saturday, the Kardashian-Jenners and other guests were photographed heading to the Fatima to bring them to the pre-wedding lunch reception at Abbey of San Fruttuoso, which is a small fishing village only reachable by sea or foot.

For the wedding, the two massive yachts were decked out in hundreds of delicate white roses. Since there were so many flowers, they were transported to the yacht via a dedicated boat.

Along with the two yachts, Kardashian and Travis' guests are also staying in the Dolce and Gabbana-owned Olivetta Villa, which features a series of hillside villas that overlook the water in Portofino. The guests' stay is complete with a private direct lift to the complex.

On Saturday, the wedding party changed into their party dresses, arriving at the Portofino port on six Riva tenders. They visited Villa San Bartolomeo, one of the many properties in the complex, for the dinner and party.

The yachts weren't the only accommodations decorated in countless roses: a 300m corridor was filled with specially planted red roses, leading from the entrance of the port elevator to the lush villa.

Since the wedding is taking place in coastal Portofino, naturally there are several boats being used throughout the week. PEOPLE confirms that there are six exclusive wood Riva boats that will bring the party between the superyachts and the mainland. Additionally, there are three smaller boats for tenders, along with more yacht tenders.

For a destination wedding of this scale, it's no surprise that wedding and venue preparations have called for a 200-person team who have been planning for weeks ahead of Kardashian and Barker's special day.

After a Vegas "practice wedding" in April and a legal ceremony in Santa Barbara earlier this month, The Kardashians star, 43, and the drummer, 46, are saying 'I do' once again in Italy. The couple chose to host the ceremony at L'Olivetta, a villa in Portofino owned by Dolce & Gabbana. The reception will take place at 16th century castle, Castello Brown. The couple is also planning a reception in Los Angeles.

Celebrity Sightings In Portofino

Scrap something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. The dress code at Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker ’s third wedding ceremony this weekend was Dolce, Dolce, Dolce!

Over the four-day affair in Italy, the Kardashian clan strutted around Portofino in an endless stream of extravagant Dolce & Gabbana ensembles (both archive and runaway). Most notably, the bride wore a one-of-a-kind Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda lace and satin corset mini dress inspired by 1960s Italian lingerie while exchanging vows in the beautiful Villa Olivetta, complete with a dramatic veil that featured hand-embroidered depictions of the Virgin Mary and the words "family loyalty respect”.

But there were plenty of other viral D&G fashion moments. Billionaire beauty mogul Kylie Jenner was spotted in a sultry LBD with racing-stripe boots and a bag from the label’s spring 2001 collection. While billionaire Skims founder Kim Kardashian wore a strappy grey bra top and leggings by the label during a pre-wedding ice cream trip.

It wasn’t just clothing. Guests, which included actress Megan Fox, musician Machine Gun Kelly and basketballer Devin Booker, were ferried from their hotels to Portofino harbour on a fleet of four classic wooden Riva speedboats – each of which were furnished with Dolce & Gabbana accessories such as animal print cushions and towels. Once docked in the harbour, they were then taken to Dolce & Gabbana’s pop-up shop, “Galleria d’Arte”, which strategically opened five days ago on the market square piazza.

The brand’s founders, Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce, denied that they had agreed an exclusive sponsorship deal with the family. Instead, a spokesperson stated to the Daily Mail that they were simply “hosting this happy event.”

Of course, social media users weren’t buying it. “The devil works hard, Kris Jenner works harder, but the D&G PR team is working the hardest,” wrote one. Twitter user @almizzy_ commented: ‘Did Dolce Gabbana sponsor kourtneys wedding????????”.

Celebrity Sightings In Portofino

It has sinc been reported that this was a “multi million-dollar deal” with the famous dynasty set “to give millions of pounds worth of publicity to the controversy-hit luxury fashion house”. Yes, the PDA-prone couple may have benefitted from the unlimited supply of high-end clothing (as well as a stay on the D&G founders’ $14.2 million superyacht Regina d’Italia and the use of their idyllic Villa Olivetta as an opulent wedding venue), but the world’s most famous family doesn’t come cheap.

As the family wrap up the D&G “hosted” celebrations and prepare for their fourth (yes, really) wedding ceremony, we go inside this weekend’s blow-out and dish out all la dolce vita details.

The Kardashians’ long-standing relationship with Dolce & Gabbana

This isn’t the first time Dolce & Gabbana have been linked with the Kardashians. In 2018 co-founder Stefano Gabbana commented “most cheap people” on a photo of Kris, Kendall, Kylie and Kim posted by Diet Prada.

Celebrity Sightings In Portofino

Despite this, it appears the family have been long-time fans of the design duo, with Khloe Kardashian naming her late pet dog Gabbana, while Kylie Jenner once had a pet chihuahua called Dolce.

What’s more, in 2019 Kim Kardashian shared a photo of a selection of jackets that had been gifted to her by the designers to her Instagram stories, captioned: “So, I came home to these amazing, huge Dolce & Gabbana boxes.”

However, the post was met with outrage as followers pleaded with the reality TV star to take the photo down due to the controversies surrounding the label.

How Dolce & Gabbana became one of the most controversial brands in fashion

Dolce & Gabbana has weathered a string of scandals that led to them being called out by Elton John, Madonna and 10,000 people who signed an online petition calling for department stores to boycott the brand.

Its most notable controversies include the founders, Federico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana (both openly gay men), stating gay couples shouldn’t be allowed to adopt in 2015 as well as referring to babies bon via IVF as “synthetic”; a 2018 advert where a Chinese model clumsily spoke English and ate Italian food with chopsticks; and 2016’s “Slave Sandals” which they sold for $2,395.

Still, it appears all is fair in love and influence – with both parties swallowing their pride for an apparent “multi million-pound deal”.

“D&G has been making an effort to win celebrities and influencers back over following their controversy – creating custom looks for the likes of Cardi B and Doja Cat. A collaboration with the Kardashians is aligned with this push for renewed relevance,” says Biz Sherbet, culture specialist at the Digi Fairy creative agency. “Plus, the spectacular lavishness of the wedding serves to displace the spectacle of D&G’s blunder in public memory.” Sherbet also points to their NFT sale last October, where they set a $6 million record for fashion NFTs after auctioning a nine-piece virtual and physical collection as a nod to the brand’s strategic positioning as a pioneer in the world of digital luxury and culture.

As well as their new friendship with the Kardashians, the brand has also been worn by a host of other celebrities in recent weeks, including Gwen Stefani at the Grammys, Iman at the Met Gala and Sharon Stone at Cannes Film Festival. Whether it’s enough to course-correct the brand’s soured repuation is yet to be seen.

Inside the Kardashian-Jenner hype machine

Celebrity Sightings In Portofino

The Kardashian-Jenners are some of the most followed people in the world. Kim Kardashian alone has 312 million followers, while younger sister Kylie Jenner has a whopping 340 million. Because of this, it is reported that the two charge up to $1 million per Instagram post.

“The Kardashian-Jenner family has a combined following of more than 1.2 billion across their social media channels, making hosting Kravis’ wedding an incredible opportunity for a brand like D&G to raise awareness among an audience that is interested in the Kardashian-Jenner’s luxury lifestyle and, thus, likely to be interested in D&G’s products,” explains Hester Bates, brand and communications director at influencer.com. “’Hosting’ a Kardashian wedding is an incredible way for a brand to forever tie themselves to one of the most famous families in the world and to truly take over social media, or ‘break the internet’ as Kim would say.”

Jenner has already uploaded eight photos of herself wearing Dolce & Gabbana at the wedding ceremony, with the Kylie Cosmestics founder tagging the brand in five of the posts. As for Kourtney, she has an impressive 178 million followers, with her highly publicised wedding to the Blink-182 drummer garnering a signifcant amount of social media hype. So far the hashtag #KourtneyKardashianWedding has 14million views on TikTok, with many lapping up the intimate, personal insight into their big day.

“Content generates engagement and engagement generates money, so the more elaborate, sacred or hyped the event, the better the payoff,” says Jane Macfarlane, art director at the Digi Fairy. “Any monumental event is an opportunity for sponsorship, and the Kardashians, in particular have always seen these occasions as an opportunity for profit, from Kardashian BFF Malika’s sponsored pregnancy announcement, to Kylie shrouding her pregnancies in secrecy only to reveal all to millions of monetised YouTube views. The Kardashians are talented at building so much hype, secrecy or controversy around their events that by the time we get access, the engagement is enormous and sponsorship totally earned.”

The most viral looks from the PR stunt

And now, for the moment D&G reportedly paid millions for: the best fashion moments from the extravagent four-day bash.

The best look from Kourtney was on Saturday evening, when she wore a sheer red gown from the brand’s 1998 collection. While Khloe’s fitted, cheetah print dress with a built in corset almost upstaged the bride.

Sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner also stunned with their looks. At the ceremony, Kylie’s best look was in a 1998 vintage gown, which was hand-painted with flowers. The dress reportedly cost over $10,000 and was paired with Dolce & Gabbana sandals and earrings. Kendall also nailed her floral look, wearing a two-piece matching set from D&G’s 1997 Spring/Summer collection.

Momager Kris Jenner served mafia boss fashion, with a strangely fabulous faux-fur edged poncho dress with Dolce & Gabbana’s trademark leopard-print which she sported while walking around the harbour.

Honourable shout-outs go to Travis and Kourtney’s daughters - Penelope Disick, Alabama Barker and Atiana De La Hoya - who were bridesmaids at the wedding, all wearing grey Dolce & Gabbana dresses with red flowers and red shoes. Penelope’s hair was also dyed red for the occasion, matching her floral gown.

Celebrity Sightings In Portofino

And of course, it wouldn’t be Kravis without some PDA...

The reception at Castello Brown included a performance by famed Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli — who sang “Can’t Help Falling In Love” for the newlyweds — an outfit change from Kravis (Kourt changed into a black lace-trimmed mini), and removal of Kourt’s garter via Travis’s... teeth. Kim shared videos of Bocelli singing, while Kylie shared a sneak peek of the smaller details of the wedding, including the heart-and-cross-themed place setting cards.

Weddings one, two and four

Travis popped the question to Kourtney in October 2021. The couple kept their wedding plans very hush-hush, but in April, the two (kind of) got married in Las Vegas hours after the 64th Annual Grammy Awards. It was established that an Elvis impersonator officiated the ceremony, but speculation swirled over whether or not the two had a marriage licence .

Two days later, Kourtney confirmed on Instagram that while she and Travis did exchange vows, the wedding was not official. “Found these in my camera roll. Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no licence). Practice makes perfect,” she captioned her post.

On May 15, Kourtney and Travis made their union legally binding. With a wedding licence and the appropriate paperwork in hand, the two wed in a Santa Barbara courthouse. Only Kourtney’s grandmother, Mary Jo “MJ” Campbell, and Travis’s father, Randy, were in attendance, according to TMZ .

After tying the knot, the lovebirds drove off in a black convertible with a “Just Married” sign and a traditional string of cans affixed to the bumper. The Daily Mail reported that they ate at a restaurant in Montecito with just MJ. For the occasion, Kourtney wore a white bodice Dolce & Gabbana (of course) mini dress, short veil, opera-length gloves, and black pumps. Travis sported a black jacket, trousers, and maroon platform loafers.

You’d perhaps think that after a big Italian wedding they’d be all celebrated out. Think again. The couple are reportedly planning one last hurrah in LA for their extended family and friends and if the last three have been anything to go by, be sure to expect plenty more Dolce, Dolce, Dolce!

Dolce & Gabbana ‘Hosted’ Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s Wedding

Kourtney Kardashian Portofino, Italy.

  • Robert Williams

The Kardashian-Jenner clan sported numerous total-look ensembles by Dolce & Gabbana during a highly-publicised weekend in the upscale Italian resort of Portofino to celebrate Kourtney Kardashian’s marriage to musician Travis Barker.

Dolce & Gabbana also housed Kardashian and Barker on a mega-yacht and staged a portside pop-up shop to outfit onlookers and guests during the celebration, which doubled as a major marketing coup for the Italian luxury brand.

The brand denied a report by The Daily Mail describing the partnership as an exclusive sponsorship deal: Founders Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce were “hosting this happy event,” a spokesperson said.

But whatever Dolce & Gabbana may be calling the arrangement, the essentially co-branded wedding — a first for luxury marketing — was calibrated to generate valuable online buzz.

Kardashian’s sisters Kim and Khloé, mother Kris Jenner and half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner were photographed repeatedly ( including by star photographer Ellen Von Unwerth) wearing a mix of new and archive Dolce & Gabbana looks throughout the wedding weekend. Speedboats that ferried guests to the wedding were accessorized down to the seat cushions in Dolce & Gabbana’s most recognisable prints.

The event marks a significant milestone in Dolce & Gabbana’s long journey back into the spotlight after a series of online PR blunders, which culminated with an insensitive marketing campaign and leaked racist tirade during a 2018 visit to China. Clients in that key luxury market, as well as many influencers, editors and celebrities globally became reluctant to touch the brand.

But a fiercely devoted client base and close ties with key luxury retailers have since helped steady the business, while savvy investments in glossy magasines and efforts to dress celebrities including Cardi B, Saweetie, Tiffany Haddish and Doja Cat steadily pushed the company back into the fashion conversation.

Stefano Gabbana, the brand’s trash-talking billionaire co-founder who once called the Kardashians the “cheapest people in the world,” no longer posts on social media, allowing celebrity tie-ups and fashion shows to do the talking for the brand.

The Portofino ceremony Sunday was actually Kardashian and Barker’s third “wedding,” following a small ceremony and official courthouse proceeding in California ( both of which were also served up as social media “moments” for fans).

During the European nuptials, Kourtney, 43, and Travis, 46, said "I do" on a red carpeted altar at Dolce & Gabbana founders Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana 's Villa Olivetta in front of friends and family, including her children Mason , 12, Penelope , 9, and Reign , 7, and Travis' kids Landon , 18, Alabama , 16, as well as his stepdaughter, Atiana De La Hoya , 22. On May 16, a day after the ceremony, Kourtney and Travis confirmed their marriage on Instagram , sharing photos of their wedding day with the caption, "Till death do us part."

A month earlier, the couple raised eyebrows after seemingly getting married in Vegas following the 2022 Grammys . However, Kourtney later revealed they didn't obtain a marriage license , joking on Instagram, "Practice makes perfect."

Kourtney and Travis first started dating in late 2020 after being friends and neighbors for years .

In October 2021, exactly a year after they first started spending time together romantically,  Travis got down one knee and proposed to Kourtney  on the beach at Rosewood Miramar hotel in Montecito, Calif.

As Kourtney put it at the time, she's ready for " forever " with Travis.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker at the 94th Academy Awards held at Dolby Theatre at the Hollywood & Highland Center on March 27th, 2022 in Los Angeles, California..

It’s hard to believe that the seeds of Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s romance were planted 15 years ago when the Blink-182 drummer moved to Calabasas to be near the reality star. He somehow  intuitively felt that they would one day fall in love , which was a story he shared with his mother-in-law Kris Jenner. The musician’s instincts were correct because not only is he married to the oldest Kardashian, but he’s also doing it all over again in an elaborate wedding weekend at Castello Brown in Portofino, Italy.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker.

Kourtney’s three kids from her relationship with Scott Disick, sons Mason, 12, and Reign, 7, and daughter Penelope, 9, were all there — even though their dad was reportedly not invited, according to TMZ . Barker’s teens from his marriage to Shanna Moakler, son Landon, 18, and daughter Alabama, 16, were there to support their dad, along with his stepdaughter Atiana de la Hoya, 23, whom he remains very close to. The four-day family affair is the second step in the process for Kravis, who legally got married in Santa Barbara, California the weekend before. After their Italian adventures, they will also have a Los Angeles reception when they return, per TMZ — the Kardashians do things big!

Be sure to check out all of the amazing photos of the Kardashian clan living it up in Italy — and find out if Pete Davidson made the big trip. He just might be the next one to walk down the aisle with a member of the family.

Dolce & gabbana made millions off kourtney kardashian, travis barker’s wedding.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker get married in Portofino

Dolce & Gabbana was the biggest winner at Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s lavish wedding in Italy.

The Italian luxury label’s stamp was all over the couple’s Portofino nuptials last weekend, with the happy couple spending time on the designers’ yacht , exchanging “I dos” at the Dolce & Gabbana-owned Villa Olivetta and ferrying guests to and fro in boats upholstered in the fashion house’s signature prints.

And Dolce & Gabbana outfitted not just the bride and groom , but also the entire Kardashian-Jenner family throughout the weekend, providing a series of archival designs for sisters Kim, Khloé, Kylie and Kendall and matriarch Kris, and even matching bridesmaid and ring bearer looks for Kourtney and Travis’ children.

While the brand was quick to shut down reports that it had sponsored the festivities — “the designers were happy to host this very special occasion,” a rep for Dolce & Gabbana tells Page Six Style — the wedding has already earned the company a whopping $25.4 million in media impact value, according to brand performance firm Launchmetrics , more than half of the total $47 million generated by the event thus far.

Kardashians in Portofino

“Media impact value is how we assign a monetary value to brand performance. It calculates the value of every post, every interaction, every article,” Launchmetrics CMO Alison Bringé tells us, adding that since it’s only been a few days since Kravis tied the knot, these numbers are “super preliminary” and will continue to grow over the course of the week.

“It’s a crazy amount of media impact value for the first 24 [or so] hours,” she adds, pointing to Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ 2018 nuptials in India — which spanned multiple days and similarly included endless outfit changes — for comparison.

“When we measured [their wedding] at a high point, it was $91 million,” Bringé continues, adding that Ralph Lauren generated almost $22 million of that value by dressing Chopra and Jonas for their ceremony — a number Dolce & Gabbana has already surpassed with the Kravis nuptials.

Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner and Stormi on a boat

Much of that impact, of course, stems from the famous family’s staggering social media presence; combined, the Kardashian-Jenners have amassed more than 1.2 billion Instagram followers. Add to that the tidal wave of press coverage that accompanies any Kardashian social post or public outing, and it’s easy to see why reality TV’s first family is incredibly attractive to fashion brands.

Or at least fashion brands that aren’t afraid of a little controversy. For all their fans and followers, after all, the Kardashians have been accused of everything from cultural appropriation to faking their net worth to perpetuating unattainable standards of beauty ; even the Kravis wedding itself is ruffling feathers . And in that sense, Dolce & Gabbana might just be their perfect partner.

Kim Kardashian, Reign Disick and North West in Italy

The label’s eponymous designers have faced a series of scandals themselves. In 2015, they made offensive comments about gay adoption and IVF — the very fertility treatment, incidentally, that Kourtney and Travis are currently using to expand their family — before later acknowledging their “inappropriate” remarks .

And in 2018, Dolce & Gabbana released a racially insensitive video ad ahead of its (later canceled) fashion show in Shanghai.

Stefano Gabbana embraces Travis Barker

But just like the Kardashians, who time and time again have managed to bounce back from their various controversies, it seems Dolce & Gabbana can’t be canceled. The label’s continued to have a strong presence on the red carpet, dressing stars for the 2022 Oscars , Grammys , Met Gala and Cannes Film Festival .

And now, it’s “hosted” one of the biggest celebrity weddings of the year — albeit for the family co-founder Stefano Gabbana once dubbed “the most cheap people in the world.”

Seems there’s millions of reasons he’d have changed his mind since.

5 Things To Know About Dolce & Gabbana’s SS23 Show Curated By Kim Kardashian

For its spring/summer 2023 collection, Dolce & Gabbana asked Kim Kardashian to play the role of curator; here, British Vogue ’s fashion critic Anders Christian Madsen breaks down the five biggest takeaways from the ’90s- and ’00s-inspired show.

The collection was curated by Kim Kardashian

When she stepped off her private jet in Milan three days ago, the cat was out of the bag: Kim Kardashian was working on the Dolce & Gabbana show. It wasn’t a collaboration but a curation. The designers asked the superstar – who has an extensive private collection of their archive pieces – to select her favourite looks from their own archives between 1987 and 2007. Then, they remade them, flew to Los Angeles, and started putting together the collection with Kardashian. “About 80 per cent of the clothes are exactly the same [as the original pieces], we just corrected them a little bit,” Domenico Dolce explained during a preview. Kardashian said she was most drawn to pieces from the ’90s and early ’00s. “The simplicity and tailoring, for me, has always been so important. Obviously, I love the glitz and you see some of that in the show, but when something is tailored properly, it changes everything, no matter how simple or ornate it is.”

Kardashian paid tribute to ’90s and early ’00s Dolce & Gabbana

The show played out like a dream scenario for any original Dolce & Gabbana fan. With a brilliantly cheeky film of Kardashian eating a bowl of spaghetti in slow motion as backdrop, her affinity for the ’90s and Y2K epochs of the brand – something anyone who grew up in that era will relate to – manifested in black, grey and beige silhouettes. There were nostalgic icons like bandage dresses, ripped denim trousers, metal bustiers, crystal-encrusted dresses and tops, diamanté bras and belts and chokers, low-riding rodeo jeans, and plenty of leopard-on-leopard. Nods to Kardashian’s current wardrobe included boots that morphed into leggings and the kind of lightweight bodycon dresses that paved the way for her brand Skims. “This conversation has been so interesting because it opened up our memories of Linda Evangelista , Isabella Rossellini, Monica Bellucci wearing these clothes,” Dolce reflected. “There’s a story behind every outfit. Somebody will remember the moment, the model, the actress, pop star…” Gabbana said. Describing the quintessential Italian sensuality that defines that era of the brand, Kardashian said it was about empowerment.

It all started with Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding

It was thanks to Kardashian’s sister Kourtney that the cur-labo-ration came about in the first place. When Dolce & Gabbana offered to dress the bride, her husband Travis Barker and all their guests for their wedding in Portofino in May this year, her sister Kim approached the dress code a little differently. “Everyone was getting these amazing ornate looks done,” she said, “but I brought the archive looks I had been collecting. Every night we had dinners and [Domenico and Stefano] would say, ‘Oh my God, this is from 1997! We don’t even have this in our archives!’ It sparked the idea of reimagining the pieces from the archive that really spoke to me,” Kardashian explained. “This process has been a dream come true. To see everything remade, and to see the originals come in… After all these years, this is the stuff we want to wear today. As a designer, I would think that was so cool when you see people emulating that. We wear it so similarly today to how it was shot and worn back then.”

Kardashian grew up with Dolce & Gabbana

The partnership was an instinctive match for Kardashian, who was familiar with the Dolce & Gabbana genetics from an early age. “I remember my mom’s very specific Dolce & Gabbana dresses that she’d wear when she’d go on date nights with my stepdad. She always looked so smart and so strong,” she reminisced. “One year, all I wanted to do was borrow my mom’s Dolce & Gabbana dress and wear it in one of our Christmas cards, and I did a full photo shoot in front of her garage wearing this black dress with a built-in bra and a choker attached to it. I’ll never forget that look.” As a teenager, Kardashian worked in a store that carried D&G. “All I wanted was D&G dresses. I would use all my pay cheques to buy these dresses and the jeans and the belts. I remember using my dad’s credit card because I didn’t get my pay cheque yet, so I got an advance from my dad. For Christmas, he paid off my D&G bill,” she laughed. “I still have the dresses to this day.” So strong was the Kardashian devotion to the designers that they paid tribute through man’s best friend. “I mean, our dogs were named Dolce and Gabbana! When one Gabbana passed away we got another one and named him Gabbana, too. He was a black lab and Dolce was a little chihuahua,” she said. “It’s very close to the reality,” Gabbana quipped.

It was about diversity, inclusivity and wearability

Asked how she would like the history books to remember her impact on fashion, Kardashian said her objectives were always founded in broadening its appeal. “I hope that they will recognise how important to me it is to be inclusive and diverse with all body types.” She imbued her curation with the same values. “There will definitely be something for everyone in this collection. It’s very wearable. The one thing I feel that I’ve gotten my confidence in is finding something that can look intimidating – like a crystal dress – but if you simplify it, more people can feel comfortable wearing it, and I think we really achieved that. There are pieces that fit all different body types. Age diversity is really important to me. I know my grandmother is gonna call me begging for some pieces, and so are my friends,” she said. “I want to see all women wearing this. My younger sisters are gonna die when they see our 2000s references.”

Kim Kardashian Takes Vogue Behind the Scenes of Her Dolce & Gabbana Collaboration

Released on 08/30/2022

What would a Kim Dolce & Gabbana show be like

without this necklace?

That's what I wanna know, Vogue.

[upbeat music]

Hi Vogue, it's Kim Kardashian.

And we are here in Milan

at the Dolce & Gabbana offices,

prepping for the Kim Dolce & Gabbana show.

We're doing fittings and everything's kind of crazy

here in the showroom right now.

I've been spending a lot of time over the years

with Domenico and Stefano.

And I think over the summer

when I was at my sister's wedding,

they saw all of the looks that I pulled.

I have a really big Dolce & Gabbana archive.

So when they saw a lot of the looks that I had,

they were asking me questions like,

Where did I get it?

And you know how I styled it this way?

And we just started having these conversations

about their archives.

To re-present the archives

with this like retrospective of the last 25 years

of all of my favorite looks.

We're starting from 1987,

going all the way up to 2007.

My mom has been friends

with Dolce & Gabbana for years now.

And then when Kourtney got married at their home,

it kind of reignited a whole new love and friendship.

We all have such different style and personalities.

So to see everyone wear Dolce & Gabbana

in such a different way,

is so magical and fun to see.

There's something just extra sensual about Italian style

that I love so much.

I've always been so inspired

by the '90s supermodels and early 2000s.

And to get every single one of those looks reimagined

and just see and feel and try on,

is such a dream come true.

I didn't really understand that each look

needs a very specific model and attitude

to express what we're trying to express.

And that's been really fun to see

that there's a science behind it all.

And my favorite part of this process,

I have, I think every single piece in the show.

This outfit, I mean come on.

Just on a regular day in Milan wearing this?

Kind of crazy.

This whole process has been so eye opening

and I love it.

So I wanna show you guys

some of my favorite looks.

This is one of my favorite pieces

not just because it says my name,

but I just think it's really unique.

And I've always been a fan

of all of their accessories.

The accessories as the clothes

were really important to me

to be a little loud and vibrant.

So these pieces from 1992

have always been some of my favorites.

I wore these bottoms to Kourtney and Travis's wedding.

Early '90s,

you cannot beat Dolce & Gabbana early '90s,

especially these looks.

And so we have all of the gloves

that we can put with newer looks.

Some of my favorites is this little bolero

and it has the colored stones.

And we had it remade with all of the crystal,

which I feel like was a little bit more me.

And then of course we have all of the original corsets.

So we would put pants underneath,

jumpsuits underneath,

so that they're really wearable

and you can wear them out.

This little bra,

it came in, I think three different colors of crystals.

Who doesn't remember Gisele wearing this bra.

I think I was in college

and all I wanted to do was save up for this little bra.

I think crystals are definitely making a comeback

and it's all about 2000s.

And if anyone remembers

the Jessica Stam silver metal dress.

It was so amazing.

We have the original here,

it's so fragile.

I've gotten the best history lesson

all week here in Milan.

Just the entire creative process

has been so much fun for me,

and something different for me,

and so much respect to the entire team.

Seeing their relationship together is so inspiring.

And they're all about family,

and that's always what I've been about.

I signed your praises earlier so I was like...

So thank you Vogue for coming on this journey with us.

And I can't wait for you to see the show.

[Kim blows kisses]

Kim Kardashian Curated a Dolce & Gabbana Collection Determined to Break the Internet

The Ciao Kim show in Milan reimagined the brand's most iconic looks from 1987 to 2007 for the vintage obsessed of today.

Headshot of Harper's Bazaar Staff

The internet is Kim Kardashian ’s kingdom, so what kind of clothing collection does the queen of social media create for her subjects? Obviously the answer is 85 pieces of Dolce & Gabbana, inspired by her favorite archival looks, hand-selected from among the brand's output between the years of 1987 and 2007. Debuting Saturday in Milan, the Spring 2023 show positioned Kardashian as the collection's "curator," creating modernized versions of the ultra-influencer's vintage selections. The extravaganza was titled Ciao Kim. But it felt more like a greeting to the internet. A hi to the haters.

In a move that also felt inspired by the internet—specifically, the bygone era when staged photos of models eating pasta inspired the then-popular @youdidnoteatthat account—models walked the Ciao Kim show, held in a 1940s movie theater, against a video backdrop of Kardashian in a restaurant, surrounded by men in suits, eating an enormous plate of red-sauce spaghetti in slow-motion. But Kardashian didn’t merely eat. She ate.

Each look for the collection was rooted in the past, but re-envisioned for today. A visible white rectangular tailor label attached to each garment signified from which year the origin garment came. Missing were the loud floral prints and bold colors that have become the brand’s more recent signature. Instead the only “color” included, as Kardashian called it backstage, was not actually a color at all, but crystal, embellished on mostly all-black, lingerie-inspired pieces. Leopard print was only included because the designers allegedly convinced her to add it.

Kardashian’s devotion to the brand goes back to her teen years; she grew up with a black lab named Gabbana and a tiny Chihuahua named Dolce. Her amore per Dolce , as it were, was heavily documented on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and now, on her Instagram. Her sister Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding earlier this year was even held at Dolce & Gabbana's L'Ulivetta villa in Portofino. For the festivities, Kim dressed all of her sisters in pieces from her personal D&G collection, which she has been building up ever since she made a book of over 100 wishlist pieces with her stylist years ago.

On TikTok, vintage Dolce & Gabbana also reigns supreme; it is rare to find a viral designer haul that doesn’t include archival D&G from the late ’90s or early ’00s. While the buyer will often go on to call the collection “iconic” or a “slay” (or “an iconic slay”), that sense of enthusiasm, at least among these armchair archivists, often does not extend to current collections. Many simply cannot afford the newer clothes, while others await the opinions of critics and historians to cement the next decade’s iconic slays. (This seems to be the reality for many major brands and fashion houses who have felt the glow of the archival fashion phenomenon.) Vintage designer has never been this mainstream popular but Dolce’s archive is particularly beloved; even fashion fans who evangelize consuming less always seem to make an exception for old Dolce. While brands like Prada and Fendi have eagerly dug into their own archives for new collections, this is the first time a house has paid such direct deference to its finest past creations.

Kardashian has certainly set the stage well for the project. (She was also one of the earliest celebrity champions of the current fervor for archival fashion, wearing ’90s Versace to the brand’s show back in 2018.) One of the looks Kardashian wore for her sister’s wedding was a crystal embellished bustier with matching bottoms sewn into an all-black catsuit, as seen originally on Yasmeen Ghauri on the Fall 1991 runway. The idea for the Spring 2023 collection apparently stemmed from this moment, with Dolce and Gabbana discussing it with Kardashian over dinner. In the show notes they refer to her as “the ultimate muse.”

On Instagram, Kardashian gushed back , writing, “You could feel the moment you put on a D & G dress that the intention when it was designed & made was to celebrate the woman wearing it. To make her feel like she could do anything, be anything, own her confidence & her beauty.”

The Kim Kardashian x Dolce & Gabbana collection is poised to be irresistible amongst younger fashion fanatics, even the most skeptical. After all, it's made up of the type of pieces that only last minutes when listed for a premium on TheReaReal or 1stDibs.

Now, a much larger audience will be able to get their hands on things like a silk butterfly appliqué corset top inspired by the famous 1998 Stromboli collection or a crystal-embellished catsuit like the one worn by Naomi Campbell on the Fall 1991 runway. Even the iconic Sex chokers, modeled by Gisele Bündchen in 2003, were remade in silver instead of gold. And now, they spell out a 2022 equivalent of the word: Kim.
