Conroe Yacht Club is more than a facility, we are a family. Our members run the club, and decide who, what, where, when, and how. The main attraction for the average boat owner is a place to work on their boat. A place to store more than one boat ( the second at a reduced rate). A place to sit amongst the trees on a hot day. A place to bring your family and friends. A place to relax and get away from it all.

Cyc phrf ratings.
The ratings are by boat for spinnaker and non-spinnaker.
These ratings are used for all races by CYC, including sponsored regattas, p ursuit starts, and buoy racing. The ratings in use are either from US Sailing or from PHRF New England, the largest PHRF reporting fleet in the US. Note that the differential from spinnaker to non-spinnaker is not published by either source, rather they publish the Base rating for a boat. In that scenario, the base rating is almost always for a spinnaker configuration. CYC uses its best judgement as to the offset to non-spinnaker, using established sources (e.g. other clubs, certificates) and our own experiences in prior races.

Quick weekend get away to Lake Conroe and we stayed in an AB&B in Walden. Rode our bikes to Sunday Brunch. Good food with many selections, beef, shrimp, omlets. Although this is a yacht club it is open to the public which was very nice. - 6/13/2023
