The Las Vegas Yacht Club opened last November in the space formerly occupied by the Seafood Shack and Mojito Bar at the TI Hotel and Casino. It appears they upgraded the menu, but not much else. The restaurant's décor is the same as the Seafood Shack's. Craig Taylor is the Executive Chef at the TI. Let's be upfront, the Yacht Club isn't a high-end seafood restaurant like Eddie V's, Ocean Prime or Oceanaire. But it does serve delicious comfort food in a casual setting that would appeal to a local family or out-of-towners. The $65 average tab per person, might make sense on the Vegas Strip, but seems a tad high for families. Service is really important to me. It's more than taking our order and checking in. For example, does the server build a relationship with our guests, do they provide outstanding menu knowledge and recommendations. Unfortunately, our Yacht Club server didn't excel in those areas. We had some hits and some misses with our dinner: - The broth for the Saffron Mussels had an odd taste, almost like a low-quality white wine was used - Caesar Salad was awesome, a large portion of romaine that can be shared easily by two or three diners -Sea Scallops with Angel Hair was another large portion, super rich and filling - Fish & Chips is another classic on the Yacht Club menu, with plenty of beer battered cod for the largest appetite - The pan-fried Salmon was dry and bland - Street Carrots is a creative name for a side, but it failed to attract much interest from our group If I make it back, I'd order one of two signatures: Seven Seas (with lobster meat, clams, shrimp, mussels and scallops in a lobster tomato broth) or the Seafood Risotto (clams, shrimp, mussels and scallops).

I'm kind of a bit confused as to why this place has such a terrible rating. My husband and I are staying at treasure island and decided to try out Yacht Club for dinner tonight. The food and service were great. We would dine again if we stayed at treasure island

We had a reservation on Open Table months prior to holiday. Got there and were given a table with a weird configuration. I went to the manager, I believe named Jordan or Julie, and was told that when you booked, you didn't request a particular table, like that's even a thing. She was rude and uncaring. Then we ordered and 3 of the 4 dishes had shrimp in them and each dish tasted funny from the shrimp. He took the shrimp out, waiter took it back to the kitchen. No comment followed and no manager came to apologize or offer an explanation. We continued our meals and ordered 2 deserts which AFTER were complimentary. Still no manager for an explanation. Worse place to eat in Vegas. Definitely not worth the high prices.

Las Vegas Yacht Club now open at Treasure Island Hotel & Casino
LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Treasure Island has officially opened their doors to a new restaurant.
Earlier this month, the Las Vegas Yacht Club welcomed its first customers and replaced the Seafood Shack and the Mojito Bar.
"To answer to the changing preference of our guests, we've rolled out a brand-new menu that invites diners to explore a revitalized culinary take on fresh seafood," said Craig Taylor, executive chef at Treasure Island. "We are thrilled to welcome both Las Vegas locals and international visitors for an exceptional dining experience."
The menu features dishes like the Seven Seas, which includes lobster meat, clams, shrimp, mussels, scallops, fish, calamari, and rice in a lobster tomato brother for $49 or the Seafood Risotto with clams, shrimp, black mussels, bay scallops and frutti de mare for $40.
The restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and the bar is open from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. You can learn more here .

9 Treasure Island Restaurants
Treasure Island restaurants have something for everyone, though we will warn you, you won’t find over-the-top restaurants at Treasure Island like some other places in Las Vegas. Don’t let that get you down, though, because the most popular restaurants at Treasure Island have some gems that anyone will enjoy. Here’s what Treasure Island has to offer.
Though we will get to the Quick Bites later, let’s start with the places at Treasure Island where you can sit, relax, and enjoy a meal.
Phil’s Steak House
Phil’s Steak House at Treasure Island is more than your average steakhouse, though the atmosphere is pretty traditional for a steakhouse. It has lovely stained wood finishings and molding, white tabletop linens, and mirror accents. There is also a full L-shaped bar. You can find Phil’s Steak House near the casino and guest elevators at Treasure Island.
On the menu, not only will you find steakhouse favorites such as French Onion Soup, Wedge Salad, and prime cuts of steak, but there are also lovely pasta dishes.
Try the Lobster & Crab Diablo Fettuccini for pasta, Kurobuta Pork Chop for an entree other than steak, or the pound of King Crab Legs for a decadent meal. They also have a Hot Seafood Platter to share between two or four people and a Steakhouse Dinner, which is a classic combination of an 8-ounce American Wagyu Sirloin with asparagus and whipped garlic potatoes.
Don’t forget dessert either, with options like a Baklava Cheesecake, Creme Brulee, and Molten Chocolate Cake a la Mode.
Hours, Reservations, Dress Code
Phil’s Steak House at Treasure Island is open Friday through Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. They do open the bar an hour early, though, so if you are just looking for a drink before dinner, that is a great option. Reservations are not required, but they are highly recommended, and the dress code is semi-formal and contemporary. Think slacks, dresses, polos, and smart outfits.
Seafood Shack
Get your seafood fix at the Seafood Shack at Treasure Island. They’ve got it all! Inside is a casual, nautical vibe with wood and tiling finishes and sea-inspired decors such as fish, buoys, anchors, and more, so you “almost” feel like you’re at your own private beach.
There is also a Mojito Bar inside, which is an open area that overlooks the casino.
On the menu, you’ll find fresh seafood of all sorts, though there are options for those land lovers. Start out with the Fried Calamari. For seafood, we love the Cajun Seafood Pasta, New England Pan Roast, Steamed Clams, and the Seafood Shack Clam Bake – perfect for hardy fishermen and yacht cruisers alike!
However, if you want something other than seafood, we recommend going with the Shack Burger or 16-ounce Ribeye served with Creamed Spinach and Garlic Parmesan Fries. On the drink menu are a wide variety of beers, wines, and cocktails, too.
This is another Treasure Island restaurant that is only open for dinner. Seafood Shack is open Wednesday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. However, the Mojito Bar located inside the restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Reservations are suggested but not required, and guests should dress casually to semi-formal.
Gilley’s BBQ
There’s a lot to do at Gilley’s BBQ. Enjoy country line dancing, a mechanical bull , live entertainment, the Gilley’s Girls, and of course, some delicious BBQ. Gilley’s BBQ is an old-fashioned honky tonk with a casual atmosphere, Western decor, and simple furnishings. It’s a great time with great food.
Gilley’s BBQ’s menu has all of the things you would expect from a BBQ restaurant, including ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. They also have a few other tasty selections like Southern Fried Chicken, steak, salad, chili, nachos, and chicken wings.
Though you may not think somewhere as casual as Gilley’s BBQ would require reservations, we highly recommend them if you plan on having dinner, as it does get pretty busy. If you are just stopping by for some line dancing and a cocktail, reservations aren’t necessary.
Gilley’s BBQ is open for both lunch and dinner, opening at noon Monday through Friday and at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Food service ends at midnight daily, though you can keep dancing until 2 a.m. on the weekends.
Of course, don’t forget to break out your Western wear if you are going to visit Gilley’s at Treasure Island!
Senor Frog’s
Now Senor Frog’s probably isn’t the first place that comes to mind when you think of restaurants, as they are known mostly for their drinks and party atmosphere. However, you can experience authentic Mexican hospitality while enjoying delicious food.
The food menu at Senor Frogs is full of delicious Mexican and Tex-Mex options. Choose from burritos, tortas (sandwiches), tacos, enchiladas, fajitas, and more. A few of our favorites include the Cochinita Pibil, the Ceviche Trio, and the Cilantro Garlic Shrimp.
You can get lunch at Senor Frogs Thursday through Sunday as they open early, but during the week, you’ll only be able to get something to eat later in the day. The restaurant has separate hours from the bar section of the establishment, so keep in mind that just because Senor Frogs is open, it doesn’t mean that they are always serving food.
Food is served Monday through Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., and from noon to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
There is no need for reservations, but keep in mind that if there is a special event going on, you’ll need a ticket. The dress code is casual.
Pizzeria Francesco’s
Pizzeria Francesco’s is near the Treasure Island Theater, making it one of the best restaurants for a quick meal before a show. It’s casual, quick, and delicious. Pizzeria Francesco’s has an old-school pizzeria feel, too, that is still modern.
The highlight of the menu is their New York Style pizzas, though they have all sorts of options, including paninis, calzones, salads, chicken wings, and even a spaghetti dinner. Get your pizza by the slice , or order a whole pie.
There are vegetarian options, too, like the Vegetarian Panini packed full of jack cheese, mushrooms, caramelized onions, spinach, and sundried tomatoes. Francesco’s also serves beer and wine, including beer by the bucket.
Francesco’s Pizzeria is a late-night hotspot, though it’s great any time of day. It’s open daily from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., so no matter when the pizza craving strikes, you’ll probably be able to grab a slice. Of course, since it is a classic pizzeria, reservations are not accepted, and the dress code is casual.
The Coffee Shop
The Coffee Shop may be named after the coffee it serves, but it has more to offer than just a good cup of joe! The Coffee Shop is between the casino and the hotel lobby and right next to the Tropical Pool. It has al fresco dining with a stunning view and casual setting.
On the menu, you’ll find American and traditional cafe dishes made with quality gourmet ingredients like sandwiches, salads, soups, and shareable. It also has some tasty breakfast options. They also have quite a selection of coffees, juices, and even beer, mimosas, and bloody marys.
You can’t miss out on their delectable desserts either, with options like Boston Cream Pie, Carrot Cake, and Warm Caramelized Apple Pie.
The hours of The Coffee Shop are rather typical of cafes opening at 6 a.m. and closing at 2 p.m. on weekdays and 3 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Though you don’t need reservations, keep in mind that the last seating is one hour before closing time. Additionally, the al fresco dining is not always available as it is subject to weather conditions. Since The Coffee Shop is near the pool so the dress code is resort casual.
Golden Circle Sportsbook & Bar
The Golden Circle Sportsbook & Bar is the perfect combination of sports betting, comfort foods, watching the game, and enjoying a beverage or two. The Golden Circle has huge video walls and more than 20 monitors so that every seat has a great view.
The menu at Golden Circle Sportsbook & Bar is mostly made up of amazing comfort food. One of the favorites includes The Original Loco Moco and the Cajun Loco Moco, Grilled Tuna Melt, and The Linebacker Bison Burger. All of the options are so classic and cozy, yet elevated just a touch.
Though the sports betting kiosks and the sports bar section of Golden Circle are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the restaurant portion is not. The restaurant is open Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 7 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 7 a.m. As you can see, the Golden Circle is open late at night, making a nightcap location or a place for soaking up a bit of alcohol if you need it!
No reservations are needed, and guests only have to dress casually.
Pho – Vietnamese
Pho – Vietnamese is the resident noodle hotspot at Treasure Island. It’s a casual restaurant located adjacent to The Coffee Shop and makes for a great dinner or late-night bite. It doesn’t get much better than authentic Vietnamese cuisine with delicate and exotic flavors right in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip! They have a bar, too!
Pho – Vietnamese’s house specialty is their noodle soups, though they also have a wide menu of other options. We recommend starting out with the Sampler Tower to begin since it comes with Egg Rolls, Spicy Edamame, Pork Gyoza, Har Gow, and Siu Mai.
The Cold Noodles, or Vermicelli, are perfect for when you want something nice and refreshing. We like the Bun Bo Xao or Sauteed Tender Beef with Lemongrass and Vermicelli. The bar has wine, sake, and some yummy specialty cocktails.
Sunday through Tuesday Pho – Vietnamese is open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., but they stay open late on Friday and Saturday until 12:30 a.m. They don’t accept reservations, and you’ll only have to be in resort casual attire.
Las Vegas Yacht Club
Las Vegas Yacht Club is a new addition to the dining options at Treasure Island, but guests are already loving what this semi-formal seafood spot has to offer. The Yacht Club menu focuses on fresh, high-quality seafood dishes. these dishes include everything from pasta and salads to whole lobster, oysters in the shell, and steamed clams. There’s also an impressive selection of wine, beer, and cocktails to complement your meal.
The restaurant is open from 5 PM to 10 PM Wednesday to Sunday, while the bar is open from 4 PM to 11 PM Wednesday to Sunday.
TI Food Court/Quick Bites
There are a few other restaurants throughout Treasure Island that they call Quick Bites. You’ll find Malena’s Yogurt Plus, Popeyes, Starbucks, and Pick Up Stix.
Malena’s Yogurt Plus is located near the Mystere Theatre and makes the perfect stop for a sweet treat. They also have a few options that could pass as a meal, depending on your standards, such as waffles and crepes.
Pick Up Stix is an Asian quick-service restaurant with everything from sushi to Chinese and Thai. It’s surprisingly good and has gluten-free options, which is nice.
We all know and love Popeyes and Starbucks. At Treasure Island, they mostly serve their regular menus, so you can get your favorite.

Treasure Island Opens Las Vegas Yacht Club Restaurant

Treasure Island Opens Las Vegas Yacht Club Restaurant
Treasure Island Las Vegas, or as it was rebranded for about 15 minutes, “TI,” has opened a “new” seafood restaurant, Las Vegas Yacht Club.
We’re using the quotation marks around “new” because the Las Vegas Yacht Club was previously the Seafood Shack.
1) Branding is everything. 2) Successful things don’t get rebranded.
According to Treasure Island, “The newly debuted restaurant offers a vibrant, nautical-themed ambiance, as well as an array of hot and cold appetizers, soups, salads, pastas, sandwiches and more. Specialty dishes include the Seven Seas, prepared with lobster meat, clams, shrimp, mussels, scallops, fish, calamari and rice in a lobster tomato broth, priced at $48.95; Seafood Risotto, prepared with clams, shrimp, black mussels, bay scallops and frutti de mare, priced at $39.95; the Salmon Oscar, served with lump crab, asparagus, hollandaise, confit tri color and fingerling potatoes, priced at $42.95; and Sea Scallops, drizzled in tomato pineapple butter sauce with carrots and Swiss chard, priced at $37.95.”
Thank you, TI, for listing prices. You almost never see prices in news releases for restaurants. We trust the transparency is due to these prices being reasonable for a Strip restaurant.
TI also says, “Guests can sip and savor in the dining area or open bar that overlooks the casino floor.”
We are fairly sure they don’t mean “open bar” the way you would want them to mean it.
Props to TI for the restaurant name, The Las Vegas Yacht Club. Because Nevada is landlocked. We are a big irony fan.
Despite it being landlocked, Nevada has a varied geography and is almost entirely within the Basin and Range Province and is broken up by many north-south mountain ranges, with most of these ranges having endorheic valleys between them. We were already really smart before Wikipedia, but look at us now.

We are not a seafood person, but we can always find something to eat at a seafood restaurant. Specifically, fish and chips. (Yacht Club also serves Brick House Half Chicken, Filet and Ribeye.)
There’s a lot of solid fish and chips in Las Vegas, from McMullen’s Irish Pub (near the Orleans) to Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips (Linq promenade) and even Ellis Island casino, so we’re curious to see where the Las Vegas Yacht Club lands.
See, because the ramps used to move boats into and out of bodies of water are called “boat landings.” Yachts are fancy boats.
You might know a lot, Wikipedia, but you can’t do puns, so suck it.
