The train station is a 5 minute drive from the yard. In the Brewer tradition the amenities abound, from floating docks with all conveniences to a dock staff within radio call, ready to assist with your every need.

For the past 100 years, Ponus Yacht Club has been a staple in the Stamford Harbor since it was founded in 1911. The Rippowam River flows into the Long Island Sound and on the eastern bank of this inlet is the Ponus Yacht Club.

Nearby is Kosciuszko Park, a 7-acre park located on the waterfront that features hiking trails, playgrounds and baseball fields. Stamford Harbor has been a popular boating location since the 1640s due to its proximity to New York. Downtown Stamford through the years has grown tremendously offering popular entertainment opportunities such as live theater, television studios, movie theaters, parks, and top-rated restaurants.

Host your next dinner cruise, celebration cruise, like a wedding or sweet sixteen, and even your own private corporate dinner or company booze cruise on the Skyline Princess from this beautiful location. Directions:   The Ponus Yacht club can be reached via driving or mass transit.   Driving: Take I-95 to Exit 7. If you are coming from the South make a right onto Washington Blvd. If you are coming from the North then make a left onto Washington Blvd. Continue on to Dyke Lane. Make a right onto Bateman Way. About 400 feet ahead is the parking lot for the Yacht club.   Mass Transit: From Grand Central Station take the Metro North Railroad New Haven Line towards New Haven. Take it two exists and get off at Stamford. From here it’s about a 15-minute walk. From the station head south on Washington Blvd toward Station Pl. Turn right onto Harbor Point Road. Turn left to stay on Harbor Point Road. Turn right onto Pacific St. The port on will be on the left.
