Pricing Prices start at $449—plus tax. Prices vary by date. Boats seat up to 10 Guests.

Please note—in rare instances, fireworks shows may be rescheduled or canceled. Please refer to the entertainment schedule to confirm showtimes 2 weeks prior to your reservation and check again the day of your reservation.
Important Details Before you book, please be aware of the following information:
- Please arrive 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to fireworks start time.
- Boats are not equipped with full-size dining tables. A cocktail table is provided.
- For Guests with limited mobility, wheelchair/ECV transfer is necessary.
- There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Full price will be charged/forfeited if the Guest cancels within one day or fails to show up for the reservation.

Grand 1 Yacht
The Grand 1 is guided by an experienced captain, and can accommodate 18 guests (or 17, if the party chooses to sail with a butler). Evening cruises offer guests views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks complete with the show’s music piped directly onboard.
Celebration Cruise banners and balloons can be requested upon booking the cruise (they are included in the cost). Assorted snacks and soft drinks are also included.
Though not included in the fee, guests may add Private Dining (from an array of hors d’oeuvres or desserts up to brunch or reception-style dinner) to their cruise on the Grand 1.
The Grand 1 Yacht is located at the Grand Floridian Resort Marina.
Prices start at $480 per hour, plus tax, for DAY excursions; Prices start at $799 per hour, plus tax, for EVENING fireworks excursions; Private Dining and Butler Service are available for an additional charge.

Book Specialty Cruises 90 days in advance. There’s a 24-hour cancellation policy and a credit card is required to book it. The boat can accommodate up to 12 guests (10 adults and 2 children) or 10 adults. The resorts participating are: Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Fort Wilderness, Wilderness Lodge, Polynesian, and Yacht and Beach Clubs . Specialty cruises are also available from the Disney Springs Marketplace . Hours vary — standard trip lasts 50 minutes. Prices vary depending on the party size, food, and decorations. Fireworks Cruises are offered through Disney’s Yacht Club Marina and the Magic Kingdom resort marinas respectively.
- The 21-foot pontoon starts at $299 plus tax (seats 8 Guests)
- The 25-foot boat starts at $399 plus tax (seats 10 Guests)

These cruises have been offered in the past, but are not currently available.
VIP Cruises are available on the Grand 1, a 45-foot Sea Ray 450 Express Bridge yacht , offering private dining, butler service, and a captain. Cruises start at $399 per hour, plus tax (seats 18 guests — or 17 if traveling with a butler). Call (407) WDW-PLAY or (407) 939-7529 for information/reservations. 24-hour cancellation notice required or you will be charged in full.
Celebration Cruise — This is a slightly different cruise than the Fireworks cruises listed above. Cruise for an hour on the lake and enjoy VIP fireworks viewing. Celebration Cruise banners and balloons are included in the cost of your charter and can be requested upon booking. Private Dining menu items, such as personalized cakes, champagne, hors d’oeuvres, miniature desserts, chocolate-covered strawberries, fruit and cheese platters, or even a full meal are available at an additional cost.
Price: $399 for up to 10 people. Hours: Departs 30 minutes prior to fireworks at Epcot or 30 minutes prior to fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. To learn more, call the Disney Resort hotel you’d like to depart from:

Pirate and Pals Fireworks Voyage – This magical cruise is open to all guests. The voyage will depart from the Contemporary resort (exact location provided when you make the reservation). The price for Guests 10 and older is $72 (plus tax) and for Guests 3 – 9, the price is $41 (plus tax) (subject to change). Reservations for the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage, can be made online at disneyworld.com or by calling 407-WDW-DINE (939-3463). You do not have to be a Walt Disney World resort guest to book this cruise.
Note that this cruise is wheelchair/ECV accessible. Vehicles can be driven directly onto the ships via a ramp. Guests have the option to transfer out of their chair onto a bench on the boat or remain in the wheelchair/ECV at their leisure.
CRUISE DESCRIPTION: When the adventure starts at the Contemporary, your crew will be presented with a spread of seafaring party snacks like cookies, cupcakes, pretzels, chips, fruit and ice cream bars. Refreshing hot and cold beverages, such as lemonade and Pirate Punch, are also available.
Then Captain Hook and Mr. Smee want to meet the new recruits before you set off. Join the pirate parade to the dock and set sail on an unforgettable voyage with your captain, the roguish pirate Patch. Breathe in the salty sea air as you and your crew test your knowledge of Disney trivia, sing sea chanteys and brush up on all things nautical. In addition to the Happily Ever After fireworks, you should be treated to an up-close viewing of the Electrical Water Pageant.
After the fireworks, the boat returns to shore, where a very special surprise guest waits.

Albatross Treasure Cruise: The Bayside Marina near the Yacht Club offers this cruise for children ages 4-12. Children will wear bandannas as they follow clues and sail to many exotic “ports of call” around Crescent Lake and Epcot looking for treasure. During the voyage, children will hear a reading of “The Legend of the Albatross.” At the final port of call, children will have a snack and a drink, and will split up the “buried treasure.” Held every day (weather permitting) from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Children must be potty trained — no pull-ups. Price is $39 – $49 plus tax per child. Reservations are recommended. A credit card guarantee is required, and there is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Islands of the Caribbean Pirate Adventure: Departs from the Caribbean Beach Resort’s Caribbean Cay. For children ages 4-12 (must be potty trained). Young adventurers, wearing pirate bandannas, will board a boat to sail the Ports of the Caribbean, just like Captain Jack! They will be told the story of Old Port Royale and of the pirates that used to sail the waters. They will find props and signs leading to treasure. Once they recover the treasure, they will sail to Fort Cay. When they return to Old Port Royale, they will unlock the treasure chest and bounty will be shared by all, as they have a snack and a drink. My Experience watching Happily Ever After aboard the Grand 1 Yacht
Last week, I was fortunate enough to be invited to experience a viewing of Happily Ever After, the fireworks spectacular at Magic Kingdom Park, aboard the Grand 1 Yacht!
To say I was excited to experience this is an understatement. This was a long time “Disney Bucket List” item that I was excited to cross off!
Friends, it was such a treat! The view and experience were just as special as I imagined they would be.
I never get tired of watching Magic Kingdom Park fireworks. In fact, my home has fireworks view. Yet, I enjoyed this fireworks cruise so much that I cried. Yes, I cried!
I get asked the same thing all the time, “Do you get tired of the fireworks?”
The answer is always the same, “No! I love them!” No matter how many times I see them, I always find something new.
The audio of Happily Ever After plays on the yacht’s onboard speakers as you watch the fireworks — you won’t miss a single sound!
You are encouraged to relax under the illuminated skies while enjoying the show. You will find snacks, sodas, and water aboard the yacht if you don’t book private dining.
Even for a person like me who has watched the fireworks hundreds of times, this vantage point offered an entirely new experience! I love experiencing “new” things at Walt Disney World Resort.

Did you know? Walt Disney World offers multiple boating options, marinas and unique experiences for specialty cruises .
Options include the Grand 1 Yacht, 21-foot pontoons, and 25-foot boats. They offer everything from dessert fireworks cruises to celebration cruises!
The celebration cruises can be decorated for birthdays, anniversaries and other special events!
The Grand 1 Yacht is the most opulent option at Walt Disney World Resort. It is a 52-foot Sea Ray® Sedan Bridge Yacht. At the present time, it is the only yacht available as one of the Walt Disney World Resort specialty cruises.
Your experience aboard the Grand 1 includes an experienced captain and deckhand at the helm. Guests can enjoy private dining and butler amenities in a spectacular setting. This spacious watercraft accommodates a total of 18 people—or 17 if traveling with a butler.
Our captain, Todd, was amazing! If you sail aboard this yacht, make sure to talk to him. He has many great stories and anecdotes that he loves sharing with Guests.
Todd is also incredibly knowledgeable about the vessel itself and has special “tidbits” to share about the price of the yacht ($1,000,000+), its purchase, and its features.
The night that I visited, it was very cold. The deckhand offered us warm blankets to use during the show and while we explored Bay Lake. I loved this attention to detail!
Our group boarded the Grand 1 Yacht at 6:45 p.m. for a 7:00-9:00 p.m. sailing around Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon. This allowed us ample time to talk, enjoy the unique views Todd shared with us, and indulge in some snacks. Todd even took us to see the progress on what used to be Disney’s Discovery Island!

Pricing for the Grand 1 Yacht begins at $399 per hour, plus tax for daytime cruises and $799 per hour, plus tax for evening and Fireworks cruises.
This beautiful yacht has 3 staterooms and 2 bathrooms . Yes, it is possible to rent the Grand 1 Yacht for an entire night if you and your family or friends wish to do so!
It is also outfitted with a working kitchen, a large flat-screen television, sitting areas, a “dining” area, an outdoor deck, and so much more!
Overall, this is a great experience for those looking to treat themselves to a unique and special experience during their visit to Walt Disney World.
I think it’d make a great birthday, graduation, anniversary or vow renewal celebration! In fact, the Cast Members told us that they often host wedding receptions on the Grand 1 Yacht — so awesome!

The Grand Floridian has always been one of Disney's best resorts and it just keeps getting better as time goes on. The Yacht is a great way to spend the day if you don't want to visit the parks.
The Grand Floridian Yacht takes people out on the water for the day and they pay attention to the guests at Disney who can rent it out as often as they like.

We recently enjoyed a "Wishes" cruise with friends on the Grand 1. The price quoted is for an hour; if shudder to think what the cost would be for a full day's rental! We brought our own sodas and water but it would be lovely to have a catered meal onboard. It's a beautiful boat, but the lagoon can get pretty buggy in the summer so keep the sliding door closed! It was an amazing spot to view the fireworks; I plan to add a blog post very soon.

Specialty Cruises at Walt Disney World
Now is a wonderful time to be planning for the future and the good times ahead. If you have booked a Walt Disney World vacation for the future, there are so many wonderful ways to make your vacation to Walt Disney World that much more special by adding on a fun or magical enhancement to your vacation.
For my 30 th Birthday last year, I wanted to do something fun and different with some of my family and friends. I love Walt Disney World, and what better way than putting 2 wonderful celebrations together. I decided to plan a fireworks cruise, which would give everyone the opportunity to watch Happily Ever After, right from the water on our own private boat! Not only can you pick from Happily Ever at Magic Kingdom to watch, but if you prefer Epcot, you can catch Epcot Forever right from the water as well!
Departure Locations:
You will depart from Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort if you are planning to watch Epcot Forever, or if you plan to watch Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom, you would sail from one of the marinas to view the fireworks show:
Contemporary Marina
Polynesian Marina
Grand Floridian Marina
Fort Wilderness Marina
Wilderness Lodge Marina
We departed from Contemporary Marina. While Grand Floridian Resort is actually my favorite resort, I knew Contemporary Resort would actually have the longest boat ride to the Seven Seas Lagoon. We got to ride over the bridge, all around Contemporary and go the “back” way out to Seven Seas Lagoon, so we didn’t have a short ride into the lagoon, which made it more fun and the time passed quickly while waiting for the fireworks since we had a longer ride to the lagoon. This also made it fun after we finished the fireworks show to go up to the lounge at California Grill and have drinks with everyone after the boat ride with views of Magic Kingdom. That really did make it more special and a fun way to end the night.
What’s Included:
Each cruise comes with a captain and includes snacks and soft drinks. (I’m talking good snacks, like Mickey Rice Krispy treats, chips, Chex Mix, etc!) Banners and balloons are also included in the cost and can be requested at the time of booking if you are celebrating a birthday like I was. If you want to add in alcohol or other fun goodies, those are a separate charge and are not included in the charter cost. I did add on alcohol so that we had some drinks to have during our charter. There are many other options to choose from for private dining that can be added on to your private cruise like personalized cakes, hors d’oeuvres, miniature desserts, chocolate-covered strawberries, champagne, etc! If you decide you want to add on more than what is already included with your private cruise as I did, you would call the Private Dining line at the resort you plan to depart from in order to add on anything extra.
The music from either Happily Ever After or Epoct Forever is audio synchronized right into the boat. You get a great view, fun experience, and a different perspective when you see the fireworks show from the boat in the water. In rare circumstances, fireworks shows may be rescheduled or canceled. Guests are encouraged to call and confirm the schedule at least 2 weeks prior to arrival.
There are a couple of different options to pick from for your charter depending on the number of guests you plan to have on your boat. Pricing can vary based on the time of day and the season and can always change at any time.
The 21-foot pontoon starts at $299 plus tax (seats 8 Guests)
The 25-foot boat starts at $349 plus tax (seats 10 Guests)
The Grand 1 Yacht starts at $399 per hour, plus tax (seats 18 Guests—or 17 if traveling with a butler)
Reservations:
To reserve a cruise, definitely do it as soon as you have your date in mind. This way you are guaranteed your date and availability won’t be an issue for you.
Important Details: Before you book, please make sure to know:
Please arrive 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to fireworks start time in order to check in and get to your boat with plenty of time to get out on the water and to your destination before the show starts. Usually, you check in 1 hour and 15 minutes before the start of the fireworks show (this time varies depending on the night). You will then get to your boat, spend time doing a safety briefing and then take off to cruise the water for a bit before the fireworks start. Then, you spend about 10-15 minutes after the show in order to get back to the resort you departed from.
Boats are not equipped with full-size dining tables—food is served on cocktail tables.
For guests with limited mobility, wheelchair/ECV transfer is necessary.
Other Walt Disney World Cruise Options:
If you’re looking for something that may not be as expensive, Disney does have some other options for you to pick from.
Day Cruise Around the World
Enjoy a 25 foot pontoon boat. You will depart from Bayside Marina at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and spend time riding around Crescent Lake and the World Showcase Lagoon at Epcot. You can spend your time relaxing and seeing Epcot from an entirely different perspective. This boat holds up to 10 guests and includes a captain, snacks, and soft drinks. Private Dining can be arranged for an additional charge and if you are wanting to make it a lunch sailing, you can also do that with the help of Private Dining. You would need to contact Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort to enhance your cruise. The Day Cruise Around the World is $149 plus tax and this price is for a party of up to 10. Of course, pricing is subject to change at any time. I always suggest as soon as you have a date in mind you are interested in this experience to call and book so that way you are guaranteed the best availability.
“Ferrytale” Fireworks Dessert Cruise
This cruise is definitely far less private than renting a boat from one of the resorts, but gives you a different experience and has a much different price. You will climb aboard one of the ferryboats at Ticket and Transportation Center. You will enjoy a selection of treats and specialty drinks with or without alcohol. You will enjoy the fireworks over Magic Kingdom and you can even wear “Mickey Vision” glasses that will be given to you and transform your view into an entirely different experience of these fireworks. “Ferrytale” Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise takes place on select nights. Admission is $99 for adults and $69 for children ages 3 to 9 (tax and gratuity included), and even includes a special surprise you can take home with you. Advance reservations are highly recommended and can be made on this page up to 180 days prior to your visit. Same-day reservations can be made on a limited basis and are subject to availability. This is a great cruise that is offered, but is open many more guests than just your family, so keep that in mind that it would be less intimate than just renting a boat for your family.
Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage
This voyage starts at Disney’s Contemporary Resort where you will start with snacks including cookies, cupcakes, pretzels, ice cream, etc. along with hot and cold beverages. Captain Hook and Mr. Smee will also be onsite to meet people before you board your ship. You will then dock the boat and enjoy Disney trivia and sing Disney songs. Then, you will watch Happily Ever After fireworks all from the water. Pricing is $83.83 per adult (ages 10 and up); $49.87 per child (ages 3 to 9), tax and gratuity included. This is much cheaper than the other events but I find it less intimate with more people. It is still something fun and different to do, but I still recommend the experience that I had above. :)

Go “Grand.” Luxury Yacht Sets Sail on Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake at Disney World
The Grand 1, the most luxurious watercraft at Walt Disney World Resort , offers a pampered VIP boating experience on the waters of Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake just outside Magic Kingdom. A personal captain and deckhand launch the 52-foot Sea Ray yacht from the marina at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa .
Morning and afternoon excursions on the Grand 1 offer guests a spectacular view of Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Wedding Pavilion and several Walt Disney World resorts. For an elegant evening voyage, romantic music sets the mood as the sun sets over the gabled roofs of the Grand Floridian. On select nights, cruisers can view “Wishes,” a magnificent fireworks display above Magic Kingdom. Those on board are treated to synchronized audio from the show.
For the ultimate cruise, the Grand Floridian private-dining staff can prepare anything from an evening snack to a gourmet five-course meal with fine wine pairings. A private-service butler can also cater to guests’ every need.
As many as 18 people can sail for $553 per hour, including charter fee, boat captain and deckhand. Dining service and private butler are available for additional fees.

Or you can continue browsing without updating.  5 Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Stay in a Disney Deluxe ResortC hoosing a hotel to stay in is one of the biggest decisions you have to make when planning a Disney World trip. And they sure don’t make it easy. There are countless options both on and off property across a wide budget range, from simple motels to luxury resorts. At the top of the Disney-operated hotels are Deluxe Resorts . These properties are the cream of the crop. They feature immaculate theming, beautiful rooms and views, award-winning dining, fantastic amenities, and convenient locations. Reasons to Avoid Disney Deluxe ResortsSo staying at a Deluxe Resort is a no-brainer when you want to make sure you have a great Disney World vacation, right? Well, not so fast. Yes, these hotels are amazing. And there’s a good chance that you will have a great time staying at them. However, they may not be the right choice for you and your trip. And rather than potentially being disappointed due to your high expectations, read through these 5 reasons why you should NOT stay at a Deluxe Resort. They Are ExpensiveAll the benefits listed above come at a cost. Want to be able to walk or take the Monorail to the Magic Kingdom from the Contemporary? Want access to Stormalong Bay, the amazing pool located at the Yacht & Beach Club? Want to see real animals on the savannah from your balcony at Animal Kingdom Lodge? You bet there’s a high price tag for that. And since this is Disney World, it’s a very high price tag. Depending on your room type and time of year, each night can cost from several hundred dollars to over a thousand. If you have the budget for that, great! But many of us probably don’t want to always shell out that much for a hotel. Personally, I’d rather allocate some of that money towards other things like food, souvenirs, or park tickets. Which brings me to my next point… You May Be Spending All Your Time at the ParksThe four theme parks are typically the main attractions at Disney World. And these parks might be the primary focus of your next trip. If you are planning a park-heavy trip where you’ll be in Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom every day (or almost every day), you may not want to stay at a Deluxe Resort. Why spend a ton of money to stay at a nice hotel if you aren’t going to be there much and be able to take advantage of its amenities? In this case, a Value Resort may be exactly what you need. This worked out perfectly for one of my trips. All we needed was a place to sleep and a basic pool to cool off in after some long days in the parks, and All-Star Music was a perfect fit for that visit. You Can Enjoy the Deluxe Resort Dining Without Staying ThereOne of the perks of staying at a Deluxe Resort is you have quick access to the excellent onsite dining options. Some of my favorite restaurants, like ‘Ohana and Topolino’s Terrace, are located at the resorts vs. the parks. Do you want to know the best part? Unlike pools, you don’t have to be a guest of a hotel to eat at any of its restaurants! That means even if you are staying at a Value Resort or even an off-property hotel, you can still enjoy the plethora of delicious restaurants available at the Deluxe Resorts. On a recent visit where I stayed at the Dolphin for a conference, my co-worker and I were able to enjoy all of these Deluxe Resort restaurants during our week:
Staying at a cheaper resort can be a great way to allocate your budget for some splurge dining. Just be sure to get your reservations in for the popular restaurants! You Want More Kid-Friendly ThemingIf you’re traveling with young ones, you may want theming that’s more in-your-face Disney. Despite its close proximity to the Magic Kingdom, the Victorian-style design and architecture of the Grand Floridian may not be the most appealing to kids. However, the Value Resorts have arguably the best kid-friendly theming, with Art of Animation leading the pack. This resort has larger-than-life characters from popular Disney and Pixar films located around the property, complementing the in-room theming. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Photo by Danny Shuster All-Star Movies is another great option that has theming and massive character sculptures from several favorite Disney films that’s even more budget-friendly than Art of Animation. All Value Resorts feature oversized characters and objects as part of their fun and inviting theming. My 3-year-old absolutely loved the giant yo-yo staircases we’d take to our room at Pop Century. So while Deluxe Resorts may have impressive theming and details, they’re typically not the things that kids would be interested in. You Want to Use Points to Book a HotelI’m probably not the only person who wishes that Disney had some sort of hotel loyalty program like Hilton Honors or Marriott Bonvoy. But let’s be real. Disney will likely never implement a program like this. (And we’ll still keep going back, right?) However, other travelers who have a ton of points saved up may want to redeem them for a Disney trip. Now, here’s a little secret: you can get the best of both worlds by using Marriott points and getting some benefits of staying at a Deluxe Resort. Instead of staying at a Disney World-owned property, you can pick the Walt Disney World Dolphin, Swan, and Swan Reserve, which are located right by EPCOT. This puts you in walking distance of the other EPCOT Resort area hotels, the Disney BoardWalk, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Plus, while they aren’t Disney-owned, you can still qualify for the Deluxe-exclusive perk of Extended Evening Hours when staying there. As for other point options, if you don’t mind being a little bit more removed, there are a plethora of hotels belonging to all sorts of chains around Disney World where you can cash in your points. So while Deluxe Resorts provide some of the best hotel experiences Disney has to offer, you definitely don’t need to stay at one to have a great vacation. In fact, depending on your personal situation and preferences, it could be a huge mistake staying at one. As always, it’s important to weigh all the pros and cons before making your hotel decision for your next Disney trip! Grand 1 yacht
We have just booked the Grand 1 to watch the magic kingdom fireworks ,which are on a MVMCP night so they do not start until 10pm .We have the yacht from 9pm and the lady who took our bookings booked us for 1 hour.If anyone's done this is that enough time,starting to worry that we won't see the fireworks properly and this is special for us as its to round off a wedding day.Also is there an address we could write to ,to ask about it, as was kept on hold on the phone to book and spoke to lady who quite honestly didn't have a clue what she was talking about and had to transfer us to someone who did,so even more time on the phone.  DIS VeteranI don’t think this is really a Resort Forum question. You will likely get better answers on the Theme Park Attractions and Strategies Forum. If anyone has recently been on the Grand 1 yacht,what snacks and sodas were on board.I didnt realise they were now included in the price I thought that was only for the Pontoon boats. Earning My Ears
It's a blast and you'll love it! When they know its a fireworks cruise, they have it down to a science. Lots of cool info from the captains. Watched the water light parade while out there. Sorry for the late response. Yes, we had pizza delivered and drinks from the Grand Flo and a cake done from Grand Flo bakery ( a pretty simple one) also. Everything was delivered and presented in the galley but they didnt need to stay on board for Butler service.
