Dove comprare Rolex senza attesa?

b. Crescita della domanda nel tempo

Dove comprare Rolex senza attesa?

a. Rolex Daytona

B. rolex submariner.

Conclusioni e prospettive future

Sharing a presentation, collaborating on a presentation.

PowerPoint has some useful features that allow others to make edits or leave feedback on your presentations. You can even coauthor a presentation in real time if you have a  Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) subscription. Here’s how to collaborate with others in PowerPoint.

Before others can work on a presentation with you, you have to share it with them . To do so, open the presentation you want to share, and then click "Share" in the top-right corner.

A banner will appear in front of your presentation. The first thing to note is the "Share" section. Here, you’ll see the two methods for sharing the presentation, and anyone with whom you've already shared it.

Invite people or get a link

With the "Invite People" method of sharing, you can do the following:

  • Type the email addresses of those with whom you’d like to collaborate.
  • Leave a note for the recipients.
  • Assign Read and Write or Read-Only permissions.
  • As an extra layer of security, select whether you want recipients to have a Microsoft account .
  • Share your presentation.

Once your link has been created, you can share it with whoever you want to collaborate with on your presentation. Keep in mind that anyone who has this link can access your presentation with the privileges you’ve assigned, so be careful who you share it with.

Once you’ve shared your presentation, it’s time to start collaborating. There are several useful tools that make collaboration more efficient. We'll go over them below, so be sure to take full advantage of them.

Who’s Working Where?

PowerPoint shows you who is currently viewing or editing a presentation, as well as which part of it they're working on. When someone's working on a presentation with you, you'll see a thumbnail with that person's name in the top-right corner.

Click the thumbnail to see who it is and which slide he or she is editing. If you want to go to that slide, click "Go to Location."

You'll see the section of the slide on which the other person is working.

Type your comment in the text box, and then click the Arrow icon to leave it.

Premium Features

PowerPoint also has a few premium features available for collaborators. One of these is real-time chat. Just click the thumbnail of the person you want to chat with, and then select "Chat" from the menu that appears.

This isn't a good replacement for comments, though. No one else can see your chat, and it's deleted as soon as you close the file.

Another neat premium feature is version history. PowerPoint 365 stores every version of your slideshow. This means you can go back and view, restore, and/or download older versions it.

To access this feature, click "File," click "Info" in the pane that appears, and then choose "Previous Versions." This option will be grayed out if you aren't a premium subscriber, though.

See previous powerpoint versions

Overall, good collaboration on any project boils down to communication. PowerPoint makes this easy for both normal and premium subscribers, although some methods are more streamlined than others.

You might be wondering what's possible when it comes to collaboration. To understand that let's talk a bit about the various versions of Microsoft Office.

Back in the day, Microsoft Office was easy to understand. Every few years, Microsoft would release a new version of Office and labeled it according to the year of release, such as "Excel 2016" or "PowerPoint 2013."

Times are different now though. The apps are updated often. Microsoft is essentially responding to competitors like Google Drive and Dropbox Paper. Here are the various current versions of Office that are available to use:

  • Microsoft Office Online . These are the web-browser based versions of the Microsoft Office apps, including PowerPoint. They're free to use , and you can think of them as Microsoft's answer to Google Drive.
  • Microsoft Office 365 . Much like Adobe's Creative Cloud, Microsoft now offers a subscription-based model to use the Office suite. Pay a monthly fee, and you'll get access to all the Office apps and consistent updates.
  • Microsoft Office Home & Student . This is most like the traditional model, where you pay a one-time fee for the app and have it to use.

All these can work with Office collaboration, but it helps to consider that your collaborators may be using a different version.

The best news is that  Microsoft Office Online  is available to everyone, for free. This means that anyone can create a Microsoft account and use it to collaborate with other Office users.

Also, you might have heard of Microsoft OneDrive.  This is Microsoft's cloud storage service (think Dropbox.) You'll need OneDrive to save your PowerPoint file for collaboration. You can get 5 gigabytes of OneDrive storage for free with a Microsoft account.

Prepare to Share

Let's dive into collaboration in PowerPoint. A great way to begin is by saving your presentation in OneDrive.

To save a presentation in OneDrive, go to the File > Save As menu in PowerPoint. When the Save As menu appears, click on Online Locations . From the Place dropdown, choose OneDrive . Name your file, then click Save. This will save your presentation to the cloud so that others can collaborate with you.

How to collaborate on PowerPoint

Now that you've got your file saved, you need to make it a shared PowerPoint. That means you'll need to invite some other users to collaborate with you on the presentation. Find the Share button near the upper right corner and click on it to invite others to your presentation.

How to make a PowerPoint editable by multiple users

Now, you'll see a new window where you can add others to your PowerPoint presentation. From your list of options, click on Invite People . On this menu, you can add the email addresses of your collaborators.

You can also control how to work on PowerPoint together here. The Can Edit check box controls whether others can make changes. Leave it checked if you want a collaborative editing PowerPoint. But if you want users to see a view-only copy, uncheck it.

Shared PowerPoint

Once you press Share , the recipient will get an email with a link to collaborate on the presentation. Keep adding more users to create a truly collaborative presentation. You're ready to start collaborating with others in the same presentation file.

PowerPoint Team Collaboration Options

How you collaborate with your team in PowerPoint is up to you. This could be as simple as asking someone to visit the link and review it. But there are plenty of options to work inside of the file at the same time.

PowerPoint collaboration is useful if you're working all at once on the same project. For example, you might all be on a videoconference completing changes together.

First, someone will receive the link and click on it. This opens up Office Online. Again, this is a version of Office that doesn't require downloading an app.

From here, there are two options. Both are on the Editing dropdown.

  • For basic edits, click Editing on the menu. This lets you make changes right inside Office Online.
  • But if you need a full suite of features, click Open in Desktop App. This  launches the PowerPoint app if it's installed.

PowerPoint collaboration

If you've got a desktop version of PowerPoint, it's your best choice. The full set of features and tools will be available to work with presentations. Office Online is great for viewing and quick edits, but the desktop version delivers more.

How to share a PowerPoint

Once the online or desktop app is open, it’s time to get to work. Any changes that you or others make will appear in real time. Office Online defaults to an auto-save option, so the slides save each time they’re changed.

As you work with your global team, there won’t be any delay in the changes becoming visible. This is how to work on PowerPoint together to drive great results.

View PowerPoint Collaborators

Wondering how to collaborate on PowerPoint? It helps to know exactly who’s on your team. When you’re working in the desktop version of PowerPoint, you can click on the Share button again. A list of users and their permissions will appear.

This way, you can track who has access to your shared PowerPoint. You can also tell whether they've got View or Edit access to your slides.

How to work on PowerPoint together

For Office 365 users, there are more options, like chatting with users from the sidebar. You can always click Share to manage who is able to work on the file and change their editing permissions.

No matter which version of PowerPoint you use, collaboration works best with OneDrive. Inviting collaborators within the PowerPoint interface makes it much easier to share. That's always true, no matter which PowerPoint version each of your team members is using.

How to use PowerPoint: A beginner's guide

Hero image with the PowerPoint logo

I can't come up with a topic for you, but I can definitely help you with the whole creating a PowerPoint part. Even if you just need to use PowerPoint for work (which, while much less fun, is probably more likely), here's everything you need to know about how to use PowerPoint.

Table of contents:

What is PowerPoint?

What is powerpoint used for.

PowerPoint can be used for anything from traditional meeting presentations to school reports and recreational nerd-outs (see: PowerPoint parties).

Here are a handful of ways you can use PowerPoint:

Giving slide presentations

Creating basic animations and infographics

Creating digital portfolios

Displaying looping information on monitors or kiosks

How to use Microsoft PowerPoint step by step

If you've ever used other Microsoft tools like Word or Excel, you're probably already familiar with PowerPoint's navigation layout. It includes several tabs across the top of your screen, each offering plenty of ways to add, edit, and collaborate on content with your team.

I recommend experimenting with all of the features PowerPoint has to offer, but we'll get started with the step-by-step process of creating your first PowerPoint presentation.

How to add slides in PowerPoint

To create a new file, start by clicking +New and choosing a theme. You can start with a blank slate or pick a built-in template.

In PowerPoint, you can start with a blank slate or pick a built-in template.

From the Home tab, you can add new slides by clicking the arrow next to New Slide and choosing a layout.

Click into a text box to add or edit text. Format your text by choosing from the options in the toolbar. You can also add other content (like tables and charts, images, icons, and more) from the Insert tab.

How to add transitions in PowerPoint

Transition effects can add a bit of pizzazz to your slides. From the slide you want to edit, click the Transitions tab. Choose a transition effect from the menu (click the arrow next to the menu to see more options).

Choose a transition effect from the menu (click the arrow next to the menu to see more options).

Adjust the options at the right of the toolbar to choose a sound effect, transition duration, and whether the transition will trigger on a mouse click or after a certain number of seconds. If you want to use the same transition settings for all your slides, click Apply to All.

How to add presenter's notes in PowerPoint

The best slides are simple and uncluttered—but if you're giving a presentation, odds are good that you need more in-depth notes than the few bullet points on the screen. That's where presenter's notes come in.

The default view in PowerPoint allows you to click into the Notes pane and add notes below every slide. If this option isn't visible to you, click the Notes button at the bottom of your screen to unhide the feature.

Click into the Notes pane and add notes below the slide.

When you give your presentation in presenter view (more on that below), you'll be able to see your notes alongside the slide deck, while the audience will only see the slides in full-screen view.

How to use presenter view in PowerPoint

Not that I have any personal experience completely bombing a presentation I hadn't practiced, but take it from me: it's best to practice presenting your slides before you're in front of a live audience. Here's how to share a PowerPoint presentation as smoothly as possible.

How to present a PowerPoint with notes

First, adjust your presentation settings. In the Slide Show tab, select Set Up Slide Show.

In the Slide Show tab, select Set Up Slide Show.

This dialog box lets you decide whether the show will be full screen or in a window, looped continuously, and whether to advance slides manually or using your custom timings. You can also customize which slides will be included in the show.

The most important thing is to make sure the Monitors setting looks right. You'll want to make sure the main presentation screen appears as an option, and that it's selected.

When everything looks right, click OK to close that dialog box. Select Presenter View in the menu bar to start the slideshow.

Select Presenter View in the menu bar to start the slideshow.

The presentation should begin, with split screens for the presenter and the audience. Here's what your screen will look like, with the slide on one side and your notes on the other:

The presenter view screen, with the slide on one side and your notes on the other.

That way, you can click through the show while referring to your notes, while your audience only sees the slides on their screen or monitor.

The audience's view in presenter view: the slide only.

How to present a PowerPoint on Zoom

If you're giving a remote presentation, your options depend on whether you have two monitors available to you. If you're using two monitors, just pick the one you want your audience to see—and make sure that one is selected in the Monitors settings (see above).

If you only have one monitor, you can use the following trick:

From the Slide show tab, click Play from Start.

When the full-screen presentation begins, click the three dots and select Use Presenter View.

From the full-screen presentation, click the three dots and select Use Presenter View.

This will open a new full-screen window showing the presenter view.

In Zoom, share the screen with the slides.

That way, you'll be able to toggle back to your presenter view screen and continue with the show, while your Zoom participants will only see your slides.

Bonus: Advanced PowerPoint tips and tricks

I've barely scratched the surface of what you can do with PowerPoint (there are literal books written about it), and the more you play around with its features, the more creative you can get with presentations. But as you experiment with the tool, here are a few more tips that can help you get the most out of PowerPoint.

How to Share a PowerPoint

Last updated on September 11th, 2024

How to Share a PowerPoint

Sharing PowerPoint presentations is essential for collaboration, education, and communication in business and academic settings. Microsoft PowerPoint offers a built-in Share feature that makes it easier than ever to distribute your slides to colleagues, clients, or students; before, during or after the presentation. This guide will walk you through using the built-in sharing options in PowerPoint, along with additional methods for sharing your PPT presentation effectively.

The Share Option in PowerPoint

PowerPoint’s Share feature is designed to simplify the process of sharing presentations from inside the Microsoft PowerPoint interface.

To access it, open your presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint. Go to File menu, and look for the Share option. In some versions of PowerPoint, the Share option is typically located in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Clicking on this button will open up several options for sharing your presentation, tailored to suit different needs and preferences.

How to share a PowerPoint presentation

Step-by-Step Guide to Sharing a Presentation

Once you click on the “Share” button, PowerPoint provides different ways to share your presentation, starting with email. How to send a PowerPoint presentation through email? Go to File -> Share and click the Outlook icon (that says “Share this link to new Outlook message”). This will open the following interface and automatically attach the presentation file to the new email.

how to send a powerpoint presentation through email

Alternatively, if you don’t use Outlook, you can still share a presentation by email. Save the presentation file and from your Email client (Mail, emClient, etc.) click to attach a new file. Now, you can select the .pptx file from your computer.

If you use a cloud based email like Gmail or Outlook, you can compose a new email and then drag & drop the file into the browser UI.

If you prefer to send a copy directly, you can choose to “Send as Attachment,” which allows you to email your presentation as a PowerPoint file or a PDF. This is a great choice if you want to give the recipient an editable or view-only copy.

Alternatively, if the presentation is too large for an email attachment, you can select the option to Send a Link or explore one of the ways to share large PowerPoint files over the Internet .

By sending a link, the method will save your PowerPoint presentation to OneDrive (Microsoft’s cloud storage service) and then generate a shareable link that can be sent to your contacts.

This link can be configured with specific permissions, such as view-only or edit access, to ensure that your content is secure.

If your presentation is already saved on OneDrive, the process becomes even more straightforward. After saving, simply click the “Share” button, select “Copy Link,” and adjust the settings to control who can access the file. This method is particularly useful when collaborating in real-time, as it allows multiple people to view or edit the presentation simultaneously.

For those using Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint offers direct integration, making it easy to share your presentation within a Teams chat or meeting. By selecting the “Share in Teams” option, you can instantly distribute your slides to all participants. Additionally, if you’re hosting a meeting in Teams, you can choose to present directly from PowerPoint by clicking “Present in Teams.” This feature is designed for seamless sharing during virtual meetings, enabling smooth, real-time collaboration.

Customizing Sharing Options when Sending a PPT Presentation to Others

One of the key advantages of using PowerPoint’s built-in sharing feature is the ability to customize your sharing settings.

microsoft powerpoint online work together on powerpoint presentation

When you share via OneDrive or Teams, PowerPoint allows you to set specific permissions, such as who can view or edit the file. You can choose to make the presentation accessible to anyone with the link, restrict access to people within your organization, or limit it to specific individuals.

Share PowerPoint presentation with others and set a password or expiration date.

Furthermore, if you need to modify access settings after sharing, you can easily do so by navigating to OneDrive or Teams, locating the shared file, and adjusting the permissions. This control over your content helps prevent unauthorized access and protects your intellectual property.

Exploring Other Methods for Sharing PowerPoint Presentations

While PowerPoint’s built-in sharing feature is convenient, there are other methods you can use to distribute your presentations effectively.

How to Share a PowerPoint Presentation by Email

Sharing via email remains one of the most common approaches. You can attach your PowerPoint file directly to an email using your preferred email client.

However, keep in mind that email services often have size limits for attachments. For example, Gmail has a maximum attachment size limit of 25 MB for sending emails, Yahoo Mail allows attachments up to 25 MB per email, and Outlook has limit of 20 MB. Most of these limits are beyond the typical presentation size, unless you use too many images or big media inside the presentation. To mitigate this, consider compressing images and media files within PowerPoint or saving the presentation as a PDF to reduce the file size.

For large files, uploading them to a cloud storage service like OneDrive, Dropbox, or Google Drive and sending a shareable link is often a better solution.

How to Share a PowerPoint using Coud Storage

Cloud storage services offer an excellent alternative for sharing PowerPoint presentations, especially when dealing with large .pptx files.

Platforms like Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and iCloud allow you to upload your file, generate a sharing link, and control access permissions.

Each service comes with its own set of features and limitations, so it’s essential to choose the one that best fits your needs.

For instance, while OneDrive provides seamless integration with PowerPoint, Dropbox and Google Drive might offer better options for cross-platform compatibility.

Dropbox is a great option if you want others to see a preview of your presentation. By sharing a PDF or PPT presentation via Dropbox, the users will see a presentation preview. You can use Dropbox as a PDF Presenter Viewer in a browser.

How to Share Presentations via Microsoft Teams or Zoom

Collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Slack have also become popular for sharing PowerPoint presentations, especially in remote work environments.

These tools enable you to share and present your slides directly within their platforms, making real-time collaboration easier.

Presenting directly from PowerPoint during a virtual meeting allows for live interaction and feedback, which can be invaluable for brainstorming sessions, training presentations, or client presentations.

Sharing PowerPoint Presentations on Social Media

Social media and websites are another avenue for sharing presentations, particularly when targeting a broader audience. Uploading your presentation to platforms like LinkedIn, SlideShare, or your company’s website can increase its visibility and reach. However, it’s essential to consider privacy settings and the potential audience reach when sharing presentations publicly to protect sensitive information.

Alternative Methods for Sharing PowerPoint Presentations

If you prefer offline methods, sharing your presentation via USB drives, external hard drives, or direct device transfers can be effective.

Additionally, presentation-specific tools to host slides offer unique features tailored to hosting and sharing slides. These platforms can be an excellent alternative for those who want more control over their content’s distribution.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

When sharing presentations, you may encounter some common issues, such as links not working or permission errors.

To avoid these problems, ensure the link is correctly copied and that the recipient has the necessary permissions to access the file. If the recipient reports issues opening the presentation, double-check the sharing settings and adjust them as needed. In some cases, re-sharing the PPT again will solve it.

To prevent compatibility problems, consider saving your presentation in multiple formats, such as .pptx and PDF, to ensure it can be viewed on various devices and platforms. Remember to take special precaution with fonts used inside the presentation. Use safe-fonts whenever it is possible, so the other party does not necessarily need to have the custom fonts installed in the computer.

PowerPoint’s built-in Share feature provides a way for distributing presentations quickly and securely.

Whether you’re sharing via email, cloud storage, collaboration tools, or directly within a meeting, PowerPoint offers several options to suit your needs.

By exploring these tools, customizing your sharing settings, and understanding alternative methods, you can enhance your presentation-sharing experience and ensure that your message reaches its intended audience efficiently.

How to create a Powerpoint Presentation

powerpoint best practices slide sorter view windows laptop

Powerpoint presentations are a great way to share information with a team, but making them is a skillset in its own right. We've got guides on general Powerpoint use , but if you're keen to just get started making a slideshow right now, this is the way.

How to create a Powerpoint presentation

How to build your first slide, how to add more slides to a powerpoint presentation, how to make an awesome slideshow presentation.

Here's how to make a Powerpoint presentation.

What You Need

Powerpoint or Microsoft 365 subscription

The first step in building your fancy slideshow is to create the presentation itself. Here's how to do it.

Step 1: Download and install Powerpoint (as part of Microsoft 365 ) if you haven't already, then open the app up.

Step 2: The home screen will give you a range of options for selecting templates and premade presentations to give you a great starting-off point. Select one of them if they're applicable. For even more options, select the New tab from the left-hand menu.

Alternatively, if you want to start from a blank canvas, select Blank presentation.

Step 3: From there, it's a good idea to name and save the presentation so you can come back to it later. Select File > Save or* Save As*, then name the file on the right, choose a location for it, and select Save .

Step 1: Your first slide will automatically have text fields for a title and subtitle. If you want to have that on your first slide, select them, then type in what you want them to read. You can also click and drag them around, or resize them using your mouse.

Hover your mouse over the white circles, then click and drag them to resize the box. Alternatively, select the rotational arrows near the corners of the box, to rotate it.

If you don't want those text fields, select their boundary individually and press the Delete key to remove them.

Step 2: If you want to add more text to this slide (or any others in the future), select the Insert tab, then select Text box. Click on the slide where you want the box to appear, then use your mouse to drag the box to the desired shape.

Then click the box and type in what you want that text box to say. The contextual home menu will automatically adjust to give you quick access to font choices and other text style options.

You can access more detailed text formatting options by selecting the Format tab. There you'll find options for changing text coloring, its outline, and any text effects you want to use.

Step 3: To add pictures to your slideshow, select the Insert tab, then select Pictures in the top-left. You'll then have the option to insert an image from your local PC, a selection of stock images, or a range of online images.

You can also change the background of your PowerPoint slides .

Step 4: You can also freehand draw or annotate your slides, using the Draw tab, or alter the entire theme of the slideshow by selecting Design.

Step 1: To add a new slide to your presentation, select the Insert tab at the top of the screen, then select New slide on the left. Then choose the type of slide you want. You can have a blank slide to do it all yourself, or you can get a headstart on its design by copying a previous slide, using the same theme as another part of your presentation, or having a predefined layout.

Step 2: Think you've gone too far with the slides? If you decide to revise your presentation, perhaps remove a graph or truncate some text, you can easily delete a page from your PowerPoint .

Step 3: When your presentation is complete, you're ready to share it with an audience. Before you do, remember to add some notes to your PowerPoint slides . These are for your eyes only, and will help you to keep the presentation on topic and avoid forgetting your lines.

While PowerPoint is widely used to develop presentations, using Google Slides has become a popular alternative. Part of what makes it so popular is that it's free to use, as is other Google software such as Google Docs and Google Sheets – which is a stark contrast to the premium price you'll pay for Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.

Even if you know how to use Microsoft PowerPoint, you might want to jump ship to Slides, and Google makes it easy to do so. In fact, it takes little more than a few clicks to convert a PowerPoint to Google Slides. Yacht-Master

tempi attesa rolex yacht master

THE WATCH OF THE OPEN SEAS

The Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master, the emblematic nautical watch, embodies the privileged ties between Rolex and the world of sailing that stretch back to the 1950s.

Launched in 1992, the Yacht-Master was designed specifically for navigators and skippers. Embodying the rich heritage that has bound Rolex and the world of sailing since the 1950s, this Professional-category watch provides a perfect blend of functionality and nautical style, making it equally at home on and off the water.

ROTATABLE BEZEL WITH RAISED GRADUATIONS

The Yacht-Master is easily recognized by its bidirectional rotatable 60-minute graduated bezel made entirely from precious metal – Everose gold or platinum – or fitted with a Cerachrom insert in high-technology ceramic. The raised, polished graduations and numerals stand out clearly against a matt background. This characteristic and functional bezel – which enables the wearer to read time intervals, for example, the sailing time between two buoys – plays a full part in creating the visual identity of the watch. The bezel can be turned with ease thanks to its knurled edge, which offers excellent grip.

CHROMALIGHT DISPLAY

The Yacht-Master offers great legibility in all circumstances, even in the dark, thanks to its Chromalight display: the large hour markers and broad hands are filled or coated with a luminescent material emitting a long-lasting blue glow – for up to two times longer than traditional phosphorescent materials .

THE YACHT-MASTER, SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER CERTIFIED

Like all Rolex watches, the Yacht-Master is covered by the Superlative Chronometer certification redefined by Rolex in 2015. This exclusive designation attests that every watch leaving the brand’s workshops has successfully undergone a series of tests conducted by Rolex in its own laboratories and according to its own criteria. These certification tests apply to the fully assembled watch, after casing the movement, guaranteeing superlative performance on the wrist in terms of precision, power reserve, waterproofness and self-winding. The Superlative Chronometer status is symbolized by the green seal that comes with every Rolex watch and is coupled with an international five-year guarantee.

The precision of every movement – officially certified as a chronometer by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC) – is tested a second time by Rolex after being cased, to ensure that it meets criteria that are far stricter than those of the official certification. The precision of a Rolex Superlative Chronometer is of the order of −2/+2 seconds per day – the rate deviation tolerated by the brand for a finished watch is significantly smaller than that accepted by COSC for official certification of the movement alone.

The Superlative Chronometer certification testing is carried out after casing using state-of-the-art equipment specially developed by Rolex and according to an exclusive protocol that simulates the conditions in which a watch is actually worn and more closely represents real-life experience. The entirely automated series of tests also checks the waterproofness, the self-winding capacity and the power reserve of 100 per cent of Rolex watches. These tests systematically complement the qualification testing during development and production, in order to ensure the watches’ reliability, robustness, and resistance to strong magnetic fields and to shocks.

THE OYSTER CASE, SYMBOL OF WATERPROOFNESS

The Yacht-Master’s Oyster case, 37 mm, 40 mm, or 42 mm in diameter and guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 100 metres (330 feet), is a paragon of robustness and reliability. The middle case is crafted from a solid block of Oystersteel, RLX titanium or 18 ct gold. The case back, edged with fine fluting, is hermetically screwed down with a special tool that allows only certified Rolex watchmakers to access the movement. The Triplock winding crown – fitted with a triple waterproofness system – screws down securely against the case. It is protected by an integral crown guard. The crystal, with a Cyclops lens at 3 o’clock for easy reading of the date, is made of virtually scratchproof sapphire and benefits from an anti-reflective coating. The waterproof Oyster case provides optimal protection for the movement it houses.

CALIBRES 2236 AND 3235

Yacht-Master models are equipped with calibre 2236 (Yacht-Master 37) or calibre 3235 (Yacht-Master 40 and Yacht-Master 42), self-winding mechanical movements entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. Consummate demonstrations of technology, these movements carry a number of patents. They offer outstanding performance, particularly in terms of precision, power reserve, convenience and reliability.

Calibre 2236 is fitted with the patented Syloxi hairspring in silicon, manufactured by the brand. In addition to resisting strong magnetic fields, this hairspring offers great stability in the face of temperature variations as well as high resistance to shocks. Its geometry, which is also patented, ensures the movement’s regularity in any position. Calibre 2236 includes a paramagnetic nickel-phosphorus escape wheel.

Calibre 3235 incorporates the patented Chronergy escapement, made of nickel-phosphorus, which combines high energy efficiency with great dependability and is also resistant to strong magnetic fields. This movement is fitted with the blue Parachrom hairspring, manufactured by Rolex in a paramagnetic alloy. In addition to resisting strong magnetic fields, this hairspring offers great stability in the face of temperature variations as well as high resistance to shocks. It is equipped with a Rolex overcoil, ensuring the calibre’s regularity in any position.

The oscillator of these two calibres has a balance wheel with variable inertia regulated extremely precisely via gold Microstella nuts. It is held firmly in place by a height-adjustable traversing bridge enabling very stable positioning to increase shock resistance. The oscillator is also mounted on the Rolex-designed, patented high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers, further enhancing the movements’ shock resistance.

Calibre 2236 and calibre 3235 are equipped with a self-winding system via a Perpetual rotor, which ensures continuous winding of the mainspring by harnessing the movements of the wrist to provide constant energy. Calibre 2236 offers a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, while the power reserve of calibre 3235 extends to approximately 70 hours thanks to its barrel architecture and the escapement’s superior efficiency; moreover, since 2023, its oscillating weight has been fitted with an optimized ball bearing.

The Yacht-Master’s movements will be seen only by certified Rolex watchmakers, yet they are beautifully finished and decorated. Since 2023, calibre 3235 has also been marked with the words ‘Chronometer Perpetual’ and ‘Superlative Adjusted’ engraved respectively on the oscillating weight and on the bridges.

BRACELET AND CLASP: SECURE AND COMFORTABLE

The Rolesium versions (combining Oystersteel and platinum) and the Everose Rolesor versions (combining Oystersteel and Everose gold) of the Yacht-Master 37 and the Yacht-Master 40, as well as the Yacht-Master 42 in RLX titanium, are fitted on a three-piece link Oyster bracelet, equipped with the Easylink comfort extension link. This system, developed by Rolex, allows the wearer to easily increase the bracelet length by approximately 5 mm, for additional comfort in any circumstance. On the Yacht-Master 42 in RLX titanium, the bracelet includes ceramic inserts – designed by Rolex and patented – inside the links to enhance its flexibility and longevity.

The Yacht-Master 37 and Yacht-Master 40 in 18 ct Everose gold, as well as the Yacht-Master 42 in 18 ct yellow or white gold, are fitted on an Oysterflex bracelet, composed of two flexible, curved metal blades – one for each bracelet section – overmoulded with high-performance black elastomer. This Rolex-designed, patented bracelet is furnished with the Rolex Glidelock extension system, also developed by the brand and patented. On the Oysterflex bracelet, this inventive toothed mechanism has six notches of approximately 2.5 mm, allowing the bracelet length to be effortlessly adjusted up to some 15 mm.

The Oyster and Oysterflex bracelets on the Yacht Master models are equipped with an Oysterlock safety clasp, designed by Rolex and patented, which prevents accidental opening.

By bus and trolleybus

As of May 2017 in each district of the city there are several city bus routes. The number of trolleybus routes is much less. In one district of the city there are 1-2 trolleybus routes. Trolleybus routes are completely absent in the Leninsky city district. It is worth noting that trolleybuses do not connect the Lower City to the Upper. This is because the trolleybuses do not have enough power to climb the mountain.

The trolleybus network is divided into 3 parts:

  • The upper trolleybus network (it unites all three districts - Nizhegorodsky, Sovetsky and Prioksky) with a turning circle on the Minin Square, near the Kremlin.
  • The lower trolleybus network (connects Kanavinsky, Moskovsky and Sormovsky districts)
  • The Avtozavod trolleybus network (connects all the distant sleeping microdistricts among themselves)

Throughout the city, land trams run. The longest route of all is 417. It connects the outskirts of Avtozavodsky district with the Moskovsky Rail Terminal. The journey takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. The route passes through the sleeping areas (approximately 75% of the way). Also in remote neighborhoods there are routes of several more trams, but in most cases, they are in the Upper City. By the way, you can reach there by tram 27 or 10 directly from the Moscow railway station.

Marshrutkas do not stop at every stop. To indicate your intention to exit a marshrutka, press a button and to indicate your intention to enter a marshrutka en-route, you need to wave your hand.

Nizhny Novgorod has not very developed bicycle infrastructure. Special bike paths exist only on the Upper-Volga and Lower-Volga embankments and on Rozhdestvenskaya Street.

The upper city is very hilly and full of steep inclines and even many locals will get off their bicycles and push their bikes up the hill by foot. Drivers can be reckless and pose a danger to cyclists. The roads can also be icy during the winter. City cyclists solve this problem by replacing summer tires with winter tires.

Also, in 2017 the implementation of a new integrated transport scheme of the city began. It provides for a large number of bicycle paths in the Upper City (including on Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street) and in the Lower City.

History of Nizhny Novgorod

Foundation of nizhny novgorod.

During the military campaigns of the Russian princes against the Volga Bulgaria, the place where the Oka River flows into the Volga was used as a gathering point for the Murom and Suzdal troops. In 1220, Grand Duke Yuri Vsevolodovich (the grandson of Prince Yuri Dolgoruky, the founder of Moscow) conducted a successful campaign against the Bulgars. After it, he “decided to strengthen this important place for Rus” and founded a town at the mouth of the Oka.

It was named Novgorod, which literally means “new town”. Later, the adjective “nizhny” (“lower”) was added to the name of the town in the Russian annals. This was probably done in order to distinguish it from the town of Novgorod (present Veliky Novgorod) and other Novgorods that existed at that time.

The founding of Nizhny Novgorod was the beginning of an active expansion of Russian influence in the Mordovian lands. Two white-stone churches were built in the fortress, including the Cathedral of the Archangel (1227) - evidence of the special role that the town had in the system of lands of Vladimir-Suzdal Rus. However, the Mongol invasion stopped further development.

Information about Nizhny Novgorod of the 13th century is extremely scarce. But it is known that after the invasion it revived relatively quickly. Nizhny Novgorod is constantly mentioned in Russian chronicles as a major political and economic center of North-Eastern Rus and a spiritual center of Orthodoxy in the Volga region. The town was often the object of conflicts between Moscow and Tver.

In 1392, the Moscow prince Vasily I received a jarlig for the Nizhny Novgorod Principality and captured Nizhny Novgorod. The final annexation of Nizhny Novgorod to the possessions of Moscow took place in the late 1440s.

More Historical Facts…

Nizhny Novgorod in the 16th-18th centuries

Under Ivan III and Vasily III, the town played the role of a border post and was a gathering place for military campaigns against the Kazan Khanate. In 1508-1515, the stone kremlin was built. After the capture of Kazan by Ivan the Terrible, the border role of Nizhny Novgorod became insignificant. At the same time, Nizhny Novgorod became the center of trade between Russia and the East and a large shipbuilding center.

In September 1611, during the Time of Troubles, the Second People’s Militia was organized in Nizhny Novgorod to fight the Poles who were able to establish control over Moscow. The militia consisted of detachments of townspeople, peasants of the central and northern regions of the Tsardom of Russia. The leaders were the Nizhny Novgorod merchant Kuzma Minin and Prince Dmitry Pozharsky (the monument to them is installed on Red Square in Moscow). In October 1612, the militia was able to completely liberate Moscow.

In the 17th century, a schism occurred in the Orthodox Church under Patriarch Nikon. It led to the formation of numerous settlements of Old Believers in the vicinity of Nizhny Novgorod. In 1695, during his Azov campaign, Peter I arrived in Nizhny Novgorod. In 1719, as a result of his administrative-territorial reforms, the town became the center of a separate Nizhny Novgorod Governorate. In 1722, setting off on the Persian campaign, Nizhny Novgorod was again visited by Peter I. Here he celebrated his 50th birthday.

In 1767, Nizhny Novgorod was visited by Empress Catherine II. During her stay in the town, she met the famous local mechanic and inventor Ivan Kulibin. After her visit, a new regular town plan was approved. The first town theater was built in 1798. Later, it became known as Nikolaevsky, in honor of Emperor Nicholas I.

Nizhny Novgorod in the 19th century

At the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries, Nizhny Novgorod became a major scientific and cultural center of the Russian Empire. In 1811, the population of Nizhny Novgorod was about 14,400 people. In 1817, the Makaryev Fair, the largest fair of the Russian Empire, was moved to the village of Kunavino (one of the districts of today’s Nizhny Novgorod). Before that, it was organized every year near the Makaryevsky Monastery, which burned down a year earlier. From that time on, it began to be called the Nizhny Novgorod Fair. Thanks to it, the rapid economic development of the town and adjacent villages began.

After Emperor Nicholas I visited the town in 1834, the large-scale reconstruction of Nizhny Novgorod began. In 1847, a water supply system appeared in the town and the first fountain was built. Private buildings in the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin were demolished and new administrative buildings appeared in their place. A lot of new buildings, streets, boulevards, and gardens were built.

In 1849, a large industrial enterprise was founded in the village of Sormovo (another district of today’s Nizhny Novgorod). Later, it became known as the Sormovo plant. It was producing river steamers, various railway cars, steam locomotives, and trams. Thanks to the plant, Sormovo soon turned into a large village of workers. In 1862, the construction of the Moscow-Nizhny Novgorod railway was completed. In 1863, the population of the city was 41,500 people.

In 1896, the city hosted the All-Russian Trade and Industrial Exhibition. The radio receiver of the engineer A.S. Popov, the hyperboloid tower of the engineer V.G. Shukhov were demonstrated at the exhibition, as well as the first Russian car of the Frese and Yakovlev factories.

Nizhny Novgorod in the first half of the 20th century

In 1914, about 111,000 people lived in Nizhny Novgorod. In 1917, during the First World War, the Warsaw Polytechnic Institute was evacuated to this city, on the basis of which the Nizhny Novgorod Polytechnic Institute was created.

On October 7, 1932, Nizhny Novgorod was renamed Gorky due to the 40th anniversary of the literary and social activities of the writer Maxim Gorky. In 1933, the first permanent bridge across the Oka River was built. The railway bridge across the Volga was constructed too. Thanks to this, it became possible to go by rail through Gorky to the Urals and Siberia.

The 1930s were a period of rapid industrialization. In 1932, the largest industrial enterprise in the city was opened - the Gorky Automobile Plant (GAZ), an important object of the Soviet defense industry. In the 1930s-1940s, the city was even referred to as “Russian Detroit”. By 1939, the population of Nizhny Novgorod increased to about 644,000 people.

Every fourth resident of the Gorky region (about 822 thousand people) fought on the fronts of the Second World War. Of these, more than 350 thousand people did not return from the battlefields - they were killed, went missing or died from wounds in hospitals.

In June 1943, three large raids of German bombers were carried out on Gorky. The main target of air strikes was the Gorky Automobile Plant, which as a result was almost completely destroyed. It was rebuilt only in the middle of 1944. Over 500,000 wounded were treated in dozens of hospitals during the war years.

The city was an important center for the production of weapons. During the Second World War, every second Soviet car, every third tank and every fourth artillery piece were produced at Gorky’s plants. In total, about 38 thousand tanks, self-propelled guns, armored vehicles, 43 thousand mortars, 16 thousand aircraft, 22 submarines, 109 thousand cars, more than 85 thousand radio stations, as well as 101 thousand artillery pieces and 1,165 Katyusha multiple rocket launchers were produced in Gorky.

Nizhny Novgorod after the Second World War

In 1946, the first GAZ-M-20 “Pobeda” passenger car and the GAZ-51 truck left the assembly line of the Gorky Automobile Plant. In 1949, the construction of the monumental Chkalov Stairs connecting the Upper Volga and Lower Volga embankments was completed in the historic center of Nizhny Novgorod. On August 4, 1959, the resolution of the Council of Ministers of the USSR “On the closure of the city of Gorky for visiting by foreigners” was issued. In 1962, the population of Gorky exceeded 1 million people.

On January 18, 1970, a radiation accident occurred at the Krasnoe Sormovo plant. During the construction of a nuclear submarine, an unauthorized launch of the reactor took place. After working at prohibitive power for about 10-15 seconds, it partially collapsed. Hundreds of workers were exposed to the radioactive release. In total, over one thousand people took part in the liquidation of the consequences of the accident and were exposed to radiation.

In 1985, a subway was opened in Gorky. In 1980-1986, Andrei Sakharov, a world famous nuclear physicist, Nobel laureate, and activist, was in exile in Gorky to prevent his contacts with foreigners. In the early 1990s, the “closed city” status was lifted and the city became accessible to foreigners. On October 22, 1990, Gorky was renamed back to Nizhny Novgorod. In 1991, the population of the city reached its maximum - 1,445,000 people.

At the end of the 20th century, the information technology sphere began to actively develop in the city. In the 2000s, a transport problem arose because of the insufficient carrying capacity of the Nizhny Novgorod bridges connecting the lower part of the city and the upper one.

In February 2012, the Nizhny Novgorod Volga Aerial Tramway was opened. This 3661-meter-long gondola lift cable car connected Nizhny Novgorod with the town of Bor. Its daily passenger traffic is about 5,000 people. In 2013, the city electric train was launched - an alternative to the subway line from Sormovo to Moskovsky railway station.

Nizhny Novgorod hosted 6 matches of the FIFA World Cup 2018 . A new stadium was built, the old river port was demolished, a new park and embankments were created. Large-scale restoration of old streets and buildings took place, new museums were opened, hotels were built, and parks were reconstructed.

Nizhny Novgorod - Features

Nizhny Novgorod is located about 425 km east of Moscow, at the confluence of the two largest waterways of the European part of Russia - the Volga and Oka rivers. The city is divided by the Oka into two parts. The length of Nizhny Novgorod along the Oka is 20 km, along the Volga - about 30 km.

The climate in Nizhny Novgorod is moderately continental, with cold, long winters and warm, relatively short summers. The average temperature in January is minus 8.9 degrees Celsius, in July - plus 19.4 degrees Celsius.

A red deer is depicted on the coat of arms and flag of Nizhny Novgorod, which is a symbol of nobility, purity, life, wisdom, and justice. The City Day is celebrated on the 3rd Saturday in August.

In January 2019, Nizhny Novgorod was recognized as the best city in Russia in terms of quality of life. It took first place among Russian cities and 109th in the world in terms of quality of life. The rating was compiled by the site numbeo.com, which specializes in statistics on the cost of living and consumer prices in different countries of the world.

When compiling the rating, the purchasing power of the population, safety, health care, the cost of living, the ratio of real estate prices to the population’s income, traffic congestion, the level of environmental pollution, and climate were taken into account.

The main branches of the local industry are the production of cars and weapons, shipbuilding. Nizhny Novgorod is also one of the IT centers of Russia.

Nizhny Novgorod is a major transport hub. The city has a railway station, a river station, a cargo port, several berths for transshipment of goods. Strigino International Airport named after V.P. Chkalov offers regular flights to such cities as Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Samara, St. Petersburg, Sochi, and a number of others.

Public transport in Nizhny Novgorod plays a very important role in ensuring the life of the city. At the same time, its work is hampered by the distribution of its population on the city’s territory, large daily migrations, a very high concentration of passenger traffic on the bridges across the Oka River, and the lack of an all-encompassing system of high-speed transport. There are municipal buses, fixed-route minibuses, trams, trolleybuses, the city train, and subway.

The tourist potential of Nizhny Novgorod is quite high. According to UNESCO, it is one of the most valuable historical cities in the world. In total, there are more than 600 unique historical, architectural and cultural monuments in Nizhny Novgorod, a variety of museums. The best time to visit Nizhny Novgorod is summer.

One of the alternative ways to visit Nizhny Novgorod is to take a river cruise along the Volga River. Travelers will find exciting excursions and meals in traditional Russian taverns. It will also be interesting to come during one of the many fairs or ethnographic festivals that are held in the city.

Main Attractions of Nizhny Novgorod

Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin (1508-1515) - a fortress in the historic center of Nizhny Novgorod and its oldest part, the main architectural complex of the city located on the right high bank, at the confluence of the Volga and Oka rivers. To date, all 13 towers of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin have been preserved or have been restored. The thickness of the wall at the base reaches 5 meters. There are exhibitions in the towers of the fortress; a section of the wall is open for tourists to visit.

In the past, there were several churches on the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin. Today, only the Archangel Michael Cathedral has survived, built no later than the middle of the 16th century and rebuilt in 1628-1631 - the oldest surviving building in the kremlin. There is the grave of Kuzma Minin inside it.

An excellent view of the Volga River and Strelka (the confluence of the Oka and Volga) opens from the walls of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin. Here you can also see a collection of military equipment from the Second World War.

Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum - one of the oldest museums in Russia, the largest museum of fine arts in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The Governor’s Palace on the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin houses a permanent exhibition of Russian art and a collection of artistic silver.

In the House of the Merchant and Benefactor D.V. Sirotkin (Verkhnevolzhskaya Embankment, 3), an exposition of Western European art is presented and, separately, the painting by K.E. Makovsky “The appeal of Kuzma Minin to the citizens of Nizhny Novgorod” - one of the largest paintings on a historical theme in Russia (698x594 cm).

Chkalov Stairs (1943-1949) - a monumental staircase in the form of a figure eight in the historic center of Nizhny Novgorod. Connecting the Upper Volga (Verkhnevolzhskaya) and Lower Volga (Nizhnevolzhskaya) embankments, it is one of the longest stairs in Russia. It starts from the observation deck at the monument to Valery Chkalov (the famous Soviet pilot who made the first non-stop flight from the USSR to the USA via the North Pole), next to the St. George Tower of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin.

Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street - the main street of Nizhny Novgorod built up with noble mansions of the past centuries. A large part of Bolshaya Pokrovskaya is reserved for the pedestrian zone and is analogous to the pedestrian Arbat Street in Moscow. There are a lot of historic houses, cafes, souvenir shops, boutiques, monuments, and sculptures here. The length of the street is over 2 km.

The building of the State Bank (Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street, 26), resembling a medieval palace, is an outstanding architectural monument built in the Russian Revival style in 1911-1913. In the Museum of Old Equipment and Tools (Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street, 43), you can see unique exhibits, hear their history, and even touch them.

Fedorovsky Embankment - one of the most beautiful embankments in Nizhny Novgorod and the best observation deck in the city. Everything is perfectly visible from this embankment: the old part of the city, the river station with a park, the Kanavinsky bridge - one of the oldest in the city, and, of course, the opposite bank of the Oka River with the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the confluence of the Oka and Volga. People also come here to watch the sunset.

Nizhny Novgorod Volga Aerial Tramway . This cable car, 3661 meters long, connects the high right bank of the Volga River, where the historic part of Nizhny Novgorod is located, with the town of Bor. It has the largest unsupported span over the water surface in Europe - 861 meters.

A one way trip during which you can admire the picturesque views of Nizhny Novgorod and the Volga River takes 15 minutes. It is better to use it in good sunny weather, because in windy weather, the movement of the cabins can be stopped. Sennaya Square on Kazanskaya Embankment.

Nizhny Novgorod State Museum of History and Architecture (1875-1877). Also known as the Mansion of S.M. Rukavishnikov, it is an architectural ensemble built in the eclectic style in the historic center of Nizhny Novgorod, one of the most important and famous architectural monuments of this city. Guided tours are held in the premises, allowing you to learn about the life of the former owners of the mansion, as well as look at the historical expositions of different years. Verkhnevolzhskaya Embankment, 7.

Main Palace of Nizhny Novgorod Fair - a luxurious building constructed in the forms of Old Russian architecture of the 17th century. Today, exhibitions of various formats are held here, as well as the multimedia exposition “Russia - my history” dedicated mainly to the history of Nizhny Novgorod starting from the Finno-Ugric peoples. Sovnarkomovskaya Street, 13.

Museum of the History of the Gorky Automobile Plant . The museum houses expositions telling about the history and development of the Gorky Automobile Plant. In total, there are over 40,000 exhibits. Here you can see a collection of Soviet vintage cars, which includes “Chaika”, “Volga”, the truck “GAZ-51”, and a lot of others. Lenina Avenue, 95.

Alexander Nevsky Cathedral (1868-1881) - the most noticeable sight of the lower part of Nizhny Novgorod, which can be seen from all observation decks of the upper city. The church, 87 meters high, was built on the site of the Nizhny Novgorod Fair at the expense of merchants, who wanted to perpetuate the visit of Emperor Alexander II. Strelka Street, 3a.

Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (1696-1719) - one of the best examples of the Stroganov Baroque, an architectural monument of federal significance. From a distance, this colorful building looks like a sugar gingerbread with “candy” domes and decorated with stone flowers, pears and apples. Rozhdestvenskaya Street, 34.

Pechersky Ascension Monastery - one of the most interesting places in Nizhny Novgorod, where you can feel the spirit of the city. Most of the monastery buildings date back to the first half of the 17th century. A lot of beautiful photographs can be taken here. Privolzhskaya Sloboda Street, 108.

Limpopo Zoo - the first private zoo in Russia. More than 270 species of animals live here, 25 of which are listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation. It is located on the territory of the Sormovsky Park on an area of 7.1 hectares. Yaroshenko Street, 7b.

Architectural and Ethnographic Museum-Reserve “Shcholokovskiy Khutor” . The exposition of this museum is represented by 16 objects of rural architecture: residential houses, barns, mills and churches of the 17th-19th centuries brought from the northern districts of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The facades of the houses are decorated with traditional relief carvings. In the premises of the houses, interiors with authentic items of peasant life have been restored. Gorbatovskaya Street, 41.

Staying on course

The Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master 42 in RLX titanium with an intense black dial and an Oyster bracelet.

Bidirectional rotatable bezel, timing the distance.

The Yacht-Master’s bidirectional rotatable 60-minute graduated bezel is made entirely from precious metals or fitted with a Cerachrom insert in high-tech ceramic. The raised polished numerals and graduations stand out clearly against a matt, sand-blasted background.

This functional bezel – which allows the wearer to calculate, for example, the sailing time between two buoys – is also a key component in the model’s distinctive visual identity.

Intense black dial

Exceptional legibility.

Like all Rolex Professional watches, the Yacht-Master 42 offers exceptional legibility in all circumstances, and especially in the dark, thanks to its Chromalight display.

The broad hands and hour markers in simple shapes – triangles, circles, rectangles – are filled with a luminescent material emitting a long-lasting glow.

RLX titanium

Ultralight resistance

RLX titanium is a grade 5 titanium alloy specially selected by Rolex. Like all titanium alloys, it is especially lightweight and is noted for its mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.

Another characteristic of RLX titanium is the possibility of working it to give a polished or satin finish according to the brand’s specifications. Its high mechanical strength makes it complex to work with, and the decision to use it has required the introduction of special production processes.

The Oyster bracelet

Alchemy of form and function.

The Yacht-Master 42, made from RLX titanium, is fitted on an Oyster bracelet. Developed at the end of the 1930s, this three-piece link bracelet remains the most universal in the Oyster Perpetual collection and is known for its robustness.

The Oyster bracelet of this new version of the Yacht-Master 42 features the Oysterlock folding safety clasp, which prevents accidental opening. It is also equipped with the Easylink comfort extension link, developed by Rolex, which allows the wearer to easily adjust the bracelet length by approximately 5 mm. The Oyster bracelet in RLX titanium also includes patented ceramic inserts – designed by the brand – inside the links to enhance its flexibility on the wrist and its longevity.
