Love Off the hook! Cory is very knowledgeable and very generous with his time and snacks!! The kids love this part of our trip and we make sure to include OFF THE HOOK in our plans ever trip to Marco
Captain was knowledgeable and accommodating to scheduling and requests to see specific features of the island, would highly recommend this for your special occasion as a must do on Marco Island.
A memorable private tour on a 27 ft catamaran with local Captain. Would highly recommend for all ages and special occasions.
A bald eagle! One of many local wildlife we saw on the tour: manatees, dolphins, starfish and the best shelling on the island.
We had a GREAT time on our catamaran cruise. Our captain, Paul, had a vast knowledge of the island and was a pleasure to spend a couple hours with. Having two teenage girls who were hoping for a dolphin sighting, we were thrilled to see dolphins playing within minutes of leaving the slip. We saw numerous dolphins throughout the tour, a couple manatee, a sea turtle and found pristine sand dollars on a large sand bar where we were able to stop at for some shelling fun! The highlight of the week trip for everyone, and we can't wait to book again next year as part of our annual Marco spring break!
First - I dont understand why all the other reviews are hidden. From my experience yesrerday, they are all accurate! Anyways..... My family, a party of 9 and ages 5 through 67, spent the morning in Captain Corey's boat and we all had a great time. We got to see dolphins, manatees, many birds (more on that later)and a couple of islands for shelling. The shelling was AWESOME! Corey was very knowledgeable, conversational, humorous and really good with the kids. Regarding the birds - it was really cool to hear Corey's stories about nurturing birds... You can tell he genuinely cares about the wildlife and it's great for the kids to hear about it. I'm not sure when we will be back to Marco, but when we do we will return to Off The Him for another 3 hour tour (cute the Gilligan music)
I stumbled upon Off the Hook Adv. via a google search and couldn't have been happier with the experience! We got the time slot we wanted and enjoyed a beautiful sunset cruise with our group. Captain Corey was knowledgable of the local wildlife and best shelling spots. This trip was a true highlight for our trip to Marco. I highly recommend! Thanks, Captain Corey!
What a fantastic way to finish up our visit to Marco Island! They were very accommodating and adjusted our sail time to allow me to finish up my conference and bring the family out on the water. Captain Paul was very knowledgeable and sailing with him was a lot of fun. We went out and collected shells and sand dollars and on the way back my daughter was Thrilled to see the dolphins! A fisherman was hauling in a big fish just as we returned to the dock. Picture Perfect Day!
Had a great day with Captain Corey. Super fun time, collected plenty of cool shells and sand dollars, saw lots of birds and dolphin (sadly the manatee were hiding) and learned about the area. Couldn't recommend it any higher!
FANTASTIC! One of my all-time favorite Marco Island experiences.Three girlfriends and I went on a four-hour sail, and it was the perfect day. Captain Corey took us to some great shelling spots as well as a relaxing sail. Corey was extremely knowledgeable about Marco, the nearby islands, the wildlife in the area and sailing in general. I can't wait to come back to Marco and book another trip.
Great captain for the sunset cruise. This was our second time and loved it even more. Friendly and fun. He will take you where ever you want to go and it's a private cruise. Definitely a must do on marco.
It was a once in a life time experience! As a family of 5 we had the boat all to ourselves. So a personal tour. Our primary goal was to see Dolphins. Captain Howie went out of his way to find us a whole family. It was the best family day ever!

Off the Hook Adventures article vacation fun
-Article courtesy of the Marco Review-
Off the hook adventures, offers marco islanders and naples florida visitors exceptional boat tours on their beautiful and relaxing sailing catamarans **, for over 19 years**. , “in 2012 we were pleased to announce that, we added another 6 passenger sailing catamaran to our fleet. now we offer double the fun for couples, families and now accommodating groups of up to twelve people with both catamarans sailing together., our sailing catamaran boats are both very comfortable and perfect for relaxing and touring for dolphins and wildlife..
A shaded canopy beneath the boom covers the entire back deck,
which has cushioned seating with back support stretching along each side,
and offers a welcome respite from the hot Florida sun. But if catching some
rays is what you have in mind there are two large trampolines up front with
plenty of sunbathing space for everyone.
Off The Hook Adventures’ boats also feature a large cooler with an assortment
of sodas, bottled water and light snacks including chips, crackers
and cookies for your enjoyment.
When I was lucky enough to join a recent trip with Off the Hook
Adventures, the captain used his outboard motor to take us from Caxambas
Park and Marina to a nearby small mangrove island which is home to nesting
brown pelicans (which until 2009 were on the endangered species list),
great blue herons, and snowy egrets. When we were close to the island he
told me that erosion is causing this amazing bird sanctuary to get smaller
every year and he is working with local islanders and experts to see if it
can be preserved and protected. However, in spring and early summer it
is still possible to get some great photographs of adult and baby brown
pelicans there. As we continued the eco tour, we made our way across the pass
to a sandbar off Kice Island where the shelling is second to none. We
were accompanied by a curious dolphin who constantly appeared and
reappeared around the boat and swam alongside us, watching our every
move. When our companion eventually tired of the chase and swam
off to join a pod of dolphin fi shing in the bay, the captain anchored the
catamaran on the sandbar and pulled it close in so that, with the aid of
some small steps, I was able to gently ease myself off the boat and into
the ankle deep-waters. Left to explore the beach while the captain secured the boat, I gazed
out across the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico and felt as if I was
the only person in the world. It was absolutely gorgeous and despite
my decision not to take a bag for shells (I didn’t want to get sand on
my camera) I just couldn’t resist collecting a few perfect sand dollars
and some of the quite rare shells which dotted the powder soft sand.
When he caught up with me, the captain was a mine of information
about the shells I had collected and the fl ocks of seabirds which
fringed the shoreline. He also told me that sometimes, especially in the
spring, the water here is as crystal clear as it is in the Keys, so he keeps
snorkeling equipment on board in case some of his more adventurous
passengers wish to use it. Summer and early fall is such a great time to
take this trip because the warm waters are perfect for manatee, and
loggerhead sea turtles come in closer to shore during their nesting
season. Off The Hook Adventures’ passengers will often see dolphins,
manatees, and turtles during their guided tour. And now it was time for the part
I had really been looking forward to… setting sail!
The captain expertly raised the sails, cut the engine and
with no fuss at all we were slicing through the shining waters with barely
a sound. The feeling of exhilaration with the wind rushing through my
hair was matched only by the excitement of seeing a spotted eagle ray
jump from the water as we skirted the shore of a deserted island just
south of Marco. I ask you… what more could you want?
