Deryn Gwyn is a large volume, round bilge cruising yacht designed for extensive passage making.
Professionally built by a local steel manufacturer, she has cruised the east coast with ease for her two owners.
Recent upgrades include new standing and running rigging including furler, mast service with sheeves and blocks, new spray dodger & boom cover, 40km Raymarine HD Radar, Raymarine instrument package including multifunction display chart plotter and autopilot, new refrigeration and freezer compressor.

The centre cockpit provides great vision from the helm and allows for large flat deck areas for entertaining.

| designs have a good shape that will not slam and make for a fast . As Joe was quite a short man the in some designs is a bit low if you are a 6 foot person.
However in a 45 ft should not be an issue.
Do you have any information on where when the yacht was built? Build material etc.

| check that you can get to the areas of the to look for any rust and treat it. rust from the inside out, hence a dry interior with stepped and will be an asset in this regard.
A well built hull will have corners cut out of the stringers where they attach to the frames to allow to run to the .
Any rust can be treated with Altex Altra Lock 577 or 576, a two pack that bonds to the rust. I have had a steel boat 10 years and found this to be one of the best products.
A dusty is a happy bilge on Saaremaa.

| . The 45 like the 40 if built at home was an easy construction so generally well built in steel. Do look at inaccessible areas for a boat that old.
