Maggie Shelby and Richard Simms give a negative review after rudely allowing their many dogs to run loose in the marina when it clearly posted as NOT ALLOWED! ???? That they would do so shows us they are both obnoxious, rude, selfish prigs that out to be banned from all marinas for life. A a boater, I appreciate visiting marina's where "dog on leash' policy is strictly enforced. We have been rushed by rude dogs belong to rude dog owners who then claim their little furry friend "Has never done that before" -Baldergash! Their little friend is as rude as their owner because they were taught to be rude. We've had dogs jump onto our boat uninvited by the same type of owners who disregard policy. They are the same people who look for places where their dogs can defecate partially unseen so they don't have to bend over their often huge waistlines, discomforting themselves to pick up toxic poop. Out of control in every way is how I describe any dog owner who comes to a marina and let's their dog(s) run loose. Those same out of controllers let their dogs roam free on leash only trails and beaches, poisoning the beaches and marine life with their toxic poop, of which there is plenty due to dog obesity. if the owners could take a crap on the beaches, they probably would as that would be as convenient as not bothering with leashes for their pets. This is a nice marina that doesn't welcome people who are not nice to to others. Not following rules meant to keep everyone safe and comfortable is not nice. Hooray! Hooray! Hooray for this marina for banning such rude donkey bums!

The harbor master, who I am sure will place an elaborate explanation of why he refused to refund our money for Docks we purchased when we were unable to make it to pick them up, went on a rampage about having his chain jerked for over a month when we purchased the docks June 26th, 2024. Today is July 9th, 2024 and we have been in n contact multiple times even explaining the docks were advertised on Craigslist on the Portland OR page as Vancouver WA. We attempted to haul our truck (axel broke), then rented a truck, yet the dock master told us we would not be able to use the uhaul to pick up the docks. We decided we weren't able to drive the 7 hours to Canada for the docks. Instead of taking a fee for restocking the docks, he yelled at us that he was keeping our money because we had jerked his chain. I asked for that in writing and he said we would get nothing in writing. Here in Oregon, one way recording is the way of a phone call. Anyone interested in hearing what the harbor master really sounds like when serving customers, just post here. I'm happy to text or email you the recording as well. And Doug, the 26th is 13 days ago.

Great marina very clean and professionally run. Excellent location with great resort a few steps away.

I stopped here to get fuel, single handed, in my 40' sailboat. The attendant was absolutely unwilling to help me. When I threw the bow line on the dock he just jumped out of the way and watched me struggle with my boat. $250 later he walked away down the dock leaving me to fend for myself getting off the dock. Horrible service.

If you haven't come out to the Semiahmoo Spit and visited the Marina's café and gift shop you've been missing out! It's like a well-kept secret in the Blaine area. You can have soup and sandwich or lattes and sit inside or outside - covered or not. You'll have an amazing view while are you eating and then you can take a nice stroll around the spit if you want. Prices are reasonable, food is good, and if you sit outside to eat you can take the craft beer or wine you just bought in the store with you. The store has all kinds of cool stuff in it - a real adventure. Could be a fun date. The marina is not public, but if you have a boat it's a beautiful place to stay - they have slips for rent. Also gas on the dark and have a free dump out. They're open every day. There's a live video camera looking out over the marina that you can check out from their website.

Very rude and arrogant staff and not interested in customer feedback. Unfortunately, they are the only fuel dock in the area and they use that to bully their customers. I called in to complain about how I was treated by Sally Howell and as a result they banned my vessel from the fuel dock! I told them I was critically low on fuel and the dock attendant apologized and advised he was under orders by management not to serve us. I followed up with the president of the homeowners association and he admitted they have had similar issues with Sally in the past and what was done was not appropriate. Unfortunately the homeowners association isn't willing or able to affect change. If you read past all of their solicited and fake reviews, you will find others with the same experience. I recommend you stay far away from these people, but I will update my review if they reach out and attempt to make things right. I understand that people have bad days and things happen, but it is how the company manages these issues that is important. What I can tell you is that nobody I have spoken with, seems to care less, despite acknowledging that Sally has a pattern of similar behavior with the public. Blaine Harbor Marina is right next door and is staffed with wonderful people.

The customer is always wrong! The people here are horrible. No concept of customer service and are consistently rude and entitled. Sally Howell is the worst. I will not be back and I recommend my fellow boaters to visit Blaine Harbor Marina, right next door.

Great marina in a beautiful location. The customer service provided by marina staff was top-notch. I happened to drop my sunglasses in the water in the slip my buddy's boat was moored in, and the marina staff were kind enough to put me in touch with a diver coming out the next day to do another job, and facilitated their return to me after I left town. Friendliness and a great location - can't beat that!

We were planning an overnight stay at this marina with dinner at the recently renovated resort. We arrived at the reciprocal dock to find another boat occupying part of the space, we tied up and went to register. We found the marina office closed, unusual for most marinas we have been to, so we went to the coffee shop to check-in. The woman at the coffee shop told us we could not stay in that spot. My husband showed her their website which stated if the spot was occupied was pull further in on that dock. No, she said the web site was wrong and that we would have to leave the spot. So we called Blaine Harbor, they graciously found us a spot for no charge. This is not the first time we have had less than welcoming treatment from the staff at Semiahmoo Marina, not sure if we would return and we could not recommend this spot to fellow boaters.

Friendly Staff. Great Location and hands down the cheapest Marina I have found from Seattle to Vancouver!

I've had my boat at Semiahmoo for sometime, and its been terrific. Free internet, fee pump ut services and free coffee, and low moorage rates makes it a no brainer for me. The staff is great.
