It looks like it was once a nice place, but not any more. We stopped by when passing through, we looked at their website to get a glimpse of what it looked like. Those website pictures are old. The place is falling apart. A-dock is newer, but power is bad. We had 112 volts with nothing on, went down to 106 volts with 2 air conditioners on. It kept tripping the 50 amp breaker at 26 amps. So, we ran just one a/c in the salon while watching tv, then swapped to the rearr berth a/c to sleep and shower. We called the harbormaster but they leave at 5 pm. We were on our own. The breaker tripped aeveral times during the night, and its summer. Wake up, dreas and fo outside and reset several times. While we were there, their biggest dock, F-dock, cement dock crumbled and fell in the water half way down. The boats on the second half of rhe dock are no longer accessible. The resturaunt is fantastic, live music, great food. The swim up bar is nice. The condos and pool at condos looks real nice, the rest of the place is a dump. One guy said he had to fix his own electrical pedestal so he could keep his batteries charged while away. We also had no water at our dock pedestal. ​

Contrary to the previous review... I would not recommend stopping by this club. It has so much potential but is clearly under managed. Most areas are empty (used for storage) and appear run down and ruined. The staff are teenage boys who have no interest in helping the customer and clearly have not been trained in customer service. It isn't that they are rude, they just don't care. I watched as one teenager called for someone to assist us- awkwardly listening to their conversation in which they clearly didn't have effective communication... While we waited for the Harbor Master to arrive, the staff played around on their phones and asked us to sit by the pool bar which had tables and chairs pushed into a corner and was not clean... We left before getting information about the boat slip. Huge potential. Zero execution.

At first look, this place screams, "run away" Facilities are a little dated and property is rough. Thankfully, the new owner, Howard, is addressing these concerns promptly. The small pool/ swim up bar has been newly renovated, they are installing security locks on all docks, and much more. Outside of the improvements being made here, the service is top notch. My boat was dead in the slip, in need of a new motor. Tow guy and insurance company were absolutely ZERO help, even though towing is covered on my policy.. Well Howard took the time on a Saturday(short staffed already) to drop a boat in the water and have two of his employees spend an hour towing my boat over to the ramp. Thanks Robert and Amanda! Bridge Harbor has earned my business for years to come!

There have been very few real repairs done in the last couple of years the docks are falling in Boats get covered in rust from the bad covered slips.

We have overnighted there for the past few years while returning from the Harvest Moon Regatta. They have always been extremely helpful and friendly but this year they went above and beyond. First of all, they had assigned us a slip that was a little tricky to get into, but they had people there to help us. When we bought ice, they brought it over for us. Because their fuel dock is closed for renovation, the owner Howard gave my husband a ride to a nearby gas station to get some diesel. Not only that, but he gave all of us a ride to and from a nearby restaurant for dinner! All of this while they were extremely busy handling all the transient boats returning from the regatta! (no, there's nothing special about us, we don't have the biggest, most expensive boat and we are not buddies or relatives with anyone there, we just politely asked and they offered to help!). We know the facility still needs a bit of improvement, but Howard is very invested in making the necessary upgrades and we really look forward to seeing this place next year.

Completely run down facility. Nobody available, lift, boatyard, restaurant, snack bar, and lounge area is permanently closed. Docks are falling apart and dangerous. The owner is not willing to do anything about it. I wish they would sell this to someone else that knows how to manage a marina.

Visited by car 2/2024 while scouting out marinas for a planned cruise down the Texas coast. This place shows signs of overall decay and neglect. It just looks run down, with damaged docks and roof damage in some of the covered slip buildings. Construction caution tape, barricades and rusting construction equipment on site. There is one new floating pier, that is clearly recent construction and in good shape. Other work was going on, so perhaps there is hope for this place. When in better shape, it was clearly a nice place. With work, it could be so again. I talked to the on-site manager. Transient boats are usually put into the slips directly in front of the office/store. Those are OK looking, but leaning pilings are a concern. The marina's pumpout station is broken and not in operation. Many slips are 18 feet wide, with possible ability to accommodate wider boats. Power and water at each slip. 50amp is available. Manager reported 10 foot depths in the marina, and no trouble coming in off the ICW. I saw good sized sailboats in slips, I'd guess boats with draft up to six feet. Marina Manager reports that the onsite restaurant closed around end of 2023, and that the space is vacant. They are trying to find a new restaurant operator, but no luck so far. There is a small onsite store with snacks & fishing supplies. Looks like fuel is available, but not self-serve. I forgot to ask if the fuel station was actually in operation. No other on-site services. I was quoted $1.50/foot per night for transient space.

People are very friendly and helpful. Ladies room was clean and had enough room but only one shower stall. Dining room upstairs with good food. Casual dining downstairs with live music. On site grocery store practically empty. Stores are a long walk away but transportation available.

Great place to stop for an overnight if passing through. They are in the middle of a remodel to the piers. Mingo the Harbor Master is really nice! Right off the ICW. Restaurant on site. No access to get to the other side of Freeport if you wanting to go to the beach or other restaurants. Fixed docks and Floating docks available. Hoping that they can get the work done the potential is there.
