The elegant Motor Yacht Callisto is an elegant vessel that was fully refitted in  2015. This classy Motor Yacht has performed several Atlantic Ocean crossings, and has also sailed along the most interesting coastal sites of Europe, North and West Africa. The M/Y Callisto is of the “boutique” category of cruiser, and offers the highest standard of accommodation, comfort and safety. 

The yacht’s public areas are homely and generous, decorated with rich fabrics, handsome woodwork, gleaming brass, antiques and fine works of art. During the day, life on board centres around the indoor and outdoor areas including the Upper deck lounge/bar and dining room as well as the cosy Library located on the Sun Deck. The lounge/bar and dining room on the Upper deck are connected by the gallery, displaying exquisite art and adding to the overall feeling of elegance and style. In the evening you can relax in the ship’s lounge, enjoy a drink overlooking the stars or relax with a book in the library with its wraparound windows. The spacious lounge and bar area on the Upper Deck is surrounded by large picture windows and opens onto the Sun Deck. The yacht features two broad Sun Decks for sunbathing and the swimming platform on Callisto’s stern enables you to swim off the ship when in sheltered bays. Service on board is provided by your Captain, the Cruise Coordinator and your experienced Marine and Hotel crew members.

The library has large wraparound windows and is an ideal area to relax with a book while engaging with the passing scenery. Start the day with a dip in the ocean from the comforts of Callisto’s state-of-the-art stern, enabling easy access into and out of the water. The 2 Category C cabins are located on the Lower Deck with twin beds and portholes. Approximately 119-124 square feet.

The 4 Category B cabins are located on the Lower Deck with twin beds and portholes. Approximately 130 square feet.

The 6 Category A cabins, located on the Main Deck, are slightly smaller than Category P and feature large windows. Category A cabins located at the bow section offer a double bed while those at the stern offer twin beds. Approximately 119-135 square feet.

The 5 Category P cabins, located on the Main Deck, are slightly larger than Category A and feature large windows. Category P cabins located at the bow section offer double beds while those at the stern offer twin beds. Approximately 140.5-146 square feet.

Motor Yacht

Superyacht Callisto is a testament to intelligent design. Merging classic style with modern flair, the 65 metre superyacht Callisto was launched in 2006 by Feadship in The Netherlands. Designed inside and out by Terence Disdale, with De Voogt Naval Architects working on the engineering and architecture package, Callisto was custom-built to provide everything an owner could ask for while providing a deceptive amount of space.

This superyacht is a vessel of understated sophistication, with subtle design elements which create the ideal life on the water.  The Terence Disdale interior is a subtle statement of style and comfort, while her exterior spaces offer al-fresco dining - enhanced by a MIchelen star chef on board - and the upper decks providing a more informal experience.

Her giant sundeck features Jacuzzi, boundless furniture to relax with friends or sunbathe, while her garage offers toys and tenders to get up close and personal with the water. Callisto can also accommodate up to 12 guests in six staterooms, including a full-beam master suite, three double cabins and two twins with en-suite facilities.

Feadship has announced the launch of the fully custom 42.5m/139.5ft motor yacht CALLISTO in early April at its facilities in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands.

She is the second yacht named CALLISTO for her Owners, the first also being a Feadship-constructed motor yacht, measuring 65.2m/213.11ft, built in 2006 and last refitted in 2021. She was the first superyacht to have an advanced rudder-roll system installed.

This smaller CALLISTO has been custom-designed to fit her berth in the Mediterranean , and before the design process began the Owners stipulated a top speed of more than 20. Her naval architecture from  De Voogt Naval Architects and aluminium hull and superstructure has created an excellent performance at high speeds, reducing pitch and lowering resistance. The twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines CALLISTO have been installed with both produce 1,939 kW @ 2,450 rpm to create a top speed of 21 knots, a cruising speed of 12.5 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles at an economical 11 knots, matching the Owner’s requirements.

The exterior styling is also by De Voogt, who has given her an athletic appearance. Within, the interiors by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design match the spirit of summer in the Mediterranean with light and refined colour scheme with an emphasis on space.

Overnight, M/Y CALLISTO accommodated up to 10 guests in 5 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 2 VIP staterooms and 2 twin cabins.

The crew accommodation sleeps up to 8 over 5 cabins, consisting of 3 twin cabins and 1 single cabin on the lower deck, and the Captain’s cabin on the bridge deck.

Regular guests call it their home away from home and with just 17 well-appointed cabins and a maximum of just 34 guests, there is a feeling of space and exclusivity, whether enjoying the ample sun decks, the single-sitting restaurant, sumptuous bar and lounge or the yacht’s gallery and well stocked library. All public areas are on the upper decks enjoying clear views of the changing scenery from panoramic windows. Callisto was fully rebuilt in 2000 and was thoroughly renovated again in in 2015-16 with a further refit in winter 2024. Most expenses are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), a fund that is added on top of the charter price. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). 65m Feadship superyacht Callisto sold

The 65-metre Feadship superyacht Callisto has been sold with Alex Lees-Buckley of Camper & Nicholsons representing the seller and Bruce Brakenhoff of Edmiston introducing the buyer.

Callisto joined the market following a full-scale, multi-million euro refit that lasted almost a year at her home shipyard, where she was first launched in 2006. Alongside major technical improvements including full service and maintenance, the yacht was given a fresh coat of exterior paint from hull to mast and had a variety of furnishings replaced to freshen her look. All exterior teak was revarnished, her awnings were replaced and her passerelle was also removed and overhauled.

The owner entered the yacht into a refit before listing her for sale for the first time in her history. Camper & Nicholsons was trusted with the listing and she hit the market in July 2022. The owner wanted to "'continue maintaining her in the best manner, irrespective of cost, and hand over the yacht in the best possible condition," according to broker Alex Lees-Buckley. 

The brief was simple: to freshen her look while maintaining her classic elegance. The yacht's interior was designed by Terence Disdale , and the design team was tasked with keeping her original look and feel, which centres around warm woods, coffee and cream shades and touches of cool blue. 

Accommodation is for 12 guests in six cabins with a full-beam owner's suite on the main deck forward, including a large office and day room, his and hers bathrooms and a walk-in dressing room. Five guest cabins are situated on the lower deck.

Elsewhere, the yacht is home to a well-equipped gym and a generous sundeck with a dip pool. According to Lees-Buckley, the yacht's design includes a "well-balanced layout both internally and externally". The configuration includes a good separation between guest and crew areas and she has been built as a true world cruiser, capable of entertaining her owner and their family year-round. 

Callisto has a range of 3,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. Other key numbers include a beam of 11.6 metres and a volume of 1,306 GT. 

Feadship's Pieter de Vries echoed those sentiments, noting that she has been back to the Feadship twice since she was launched which is "quite something when based in the Caribbean." 

De Vries continued: " Callisto was the owners’ first Feadship and he chose an experienced team to oversee the design, engineering, build, delivery, and management." 

Callisto was asking €46,000,000.
