Welcome to the Oyster Bay Yacht Club!

Neatly positioned on the northern tip of Oyster Bay Harbour and just a short walk to the marina, an exquisitely-designed club rises from the maritime forest and vast marshlands. With its coastal-casual design, this club is the center of life for our members with weekly activities and events. No matter what your interests, there is something for everyone at Oyster Bay Yacht Club. From annual festive events (i.e., annual wine dinner, oyster roasts, steak nights, and end-of-year holiday gala) to monthly and quarterly events (ladies luncheons, speaker’s nights, and happy hours) to regular events (Prix Fixe dinner specials, Mah Jongg club, and book clubs) - there are plenty of opportunities to get involved, hang out with great friends and meet new people.

The club features a swimming pool with expansive views of meandering waterways and the coastal barrier islands, a full-service outdoor bar with indoor/ outdoor dining , wide-covered verandas , and a workout facility . The marina accommodates pleasure boats up to 70 feet in length, with shore power, fresh water, and pump-out facilities. There's something for everyone at Oyster Bay Yacht Club - whether you are a boating enthusiast, a land-lover, or in search of a premier destination for special events and weddings in Northeast Florida.

What does your council do for you, “multiple club privileges with first class experiences”.

 The Florida Council membership offers multiple club privileges without having to pay multiple club dues. Enjoy social and dining privileges at a collection of 36 private clubs in the state of Florida, offering excellent marina facilities as well as casual and fine dining options. Some clubs offer golf and tennis as well.

Each one of the Council Clubs offers the caliber of service you would expect the amenities and family events that make visiting a pleasure.

For those who dream of salt air and sea mist, of First Coast charm, sun soaked days of relaxation, and Atlantic breezes, Oyster Bay Yacht Club is ready and waiting to cast its spell on you. Ideally located a little over a mile from the Intracoastal Waterway, with no bridges, lock system, or jetties, you’re just 15 minutes from the ocean’s open waters. Settled in a private, gated community, the Oyster Bay Yacht Club provides members with a safe harbour for their vessels. Facilities: Members have exclusive access to all the first-class amenities the club offers. The marina, fitness center, pool, bar and grill, and game/card lounge will provide the cornerstone for countless hours of recreation and leisure accompanied by the perfect Florida lifestyle. Oyster Bay’s Marina is fully equipped with security staff in the evenings and a harbour master who’s ready to help with all facets of the boating experience. Utilities at the slips include pump-outs (1 per double-finger), water hook-ups, electricity, cable, phone, and storage boxes. Wireless internet access is available in the clubhouse.

Wet slips are available in lengths of 40-65 feet with a minimum of 6 feet of depth at low tide. Slips start at $140,000. Guests call for rates!

This marina does not require a credit card to hold the slip or any type of deposit. As a courtesy please notify the marina if you need to cancel your reservation at least 24 hours in advance.

We are here for lunch while visiting family. The service was wonderful! And the food was very good. I had a catch of the day (blackened grouper) on brioche bun with yummy fried onion rings on side. Some had the short rib sandwich that got raves, hamburger, fried shrimp, and truffle Parmesan fries. We ate outside which was welcome since we are avoiding eating anywhere inside during the Delta variant surge.

I was so fortunate to have my wedding at this amazing place. Everything was absolutely amazing done to the finest detail. Mrs. Terrie and the incredible staff there had everything done so nice I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding day!! My friends and family and still talking about how nice the venue/food/service was. I have and will continue to recommend this place to everyone!!!!

We held our wedding welcome reception at the Oyster Bay Yacht Club and it was absolutely spectacular. Terrie and her team were rock stars and our guests were very impressed with the beautiful venue, staff, service and food. Thanks for making this night magical. We wouldn't change a thing!!

Our wedding was amazing and perfect in every way! OBYC is absolutely beautiful, and Terrie Sanders and her staff are awesome! From every little detail of our day, they made us feel very special and only wanted to make us happy. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, they want your day to be everything you dreamed it would be. Terrie is amazing, she will capture every detail of your vision and will do everything to make it happen. We had no doubt that she would make everything perfect, our expectations were beyond exceeded! We received so many compliments from our guests, everyone had such a great time!

A diverse membership of all ages and member types., open to boaters and non-boaters alike, members of all ages, families of all sizes — sagamore is a club rooted in tradition but welcoming to a diverse range of interests and activities from winter skeet, to sailing, junior sailing, and various social events., year-round, not seasonal.

Club members and their guests enjoy waterfront dining and many other activities that include regattas, fishing tournaments, skeet shooting, and numerous social events year-round.

Our dues and fees structure for the 2024 season can be downloaded here . 

Once your application is received, it is reviewed by our membership committee.

A representative of the membership committee will reach out and schedule an initial phone screening with the applicant, followed up by an in-person or virtual interview, concluding with interviews of each sponsor listed on your application.

Once that process is concluded and all of the provided materials have been reviewed, applicants are referred to the board of trustees for approval. 

Typically, the application process takes anywhere from 15 to 30 days.

Yes. All new members who have previously resigned are required to repay initiation fees.
