Gulet Yacht La Bella Vita Description
The grandly elegant 47-meter exclusive gulet La Bella Vita (Ex. Carpediem IV) was built to the traditional true gulet design in Bodrum, the center of boat building experience and craftsmanship on the Turkish Aegean. Exquisite mahogany timbers were used throughout the gulet by the master carpenters and builders. Up to twelve guests will enjoy the space and comfort of six cabins: one master cabin in the bow and one in the stern enjoy the full beam width while two double and two twin bed cabins are spacious with large beds and wardrobes.
The master stateroom in the stern of Luxury Yacht La Bella Vita has a king-size bed, a chic couch with cushions to one side, and is filled with daylight from the large rear windows and the portholes to both sides. Full-size mirrored robes enlarge the cabin, a vanity desk is available and the luxurious bathroom is separated from the room by a custom-made curved stained glass wall. In the bathroom, the mahogany and natural marble complete one another perfectly and a walk-in shower is installed. Two twin-bed cabins are located near the aft master cabin. The VIP cabin in the bow is again spacious, comfortable, and elegantly designed. Beside it, a walk-in sauna offers a unique relaxation time aboard a gulet. Two spacious double-bed cabins are located between the VIP cabin and the indoor saloon.
All cabins on the crewed gulet yacht La Bella Vita have separately adjustable air-conditioned, well-appointed bathrooms with walk-in showers and LCD TV, DVD, and music system. The private bathrooms are designed and enhanced with the finest marble. Sound-insulated thick mahogany walls ensure the privacy of the guests.
The spacious saloon offers comfortable seating with a large L-shaped sofa set apart from a long dining table with a seating bench for enjoyable dining indoors. Plasma TV, DVD- and music system offer entertainment for the guests while the windows allow generous daylight into the saloon.
The relaxation areas on deck are the classic gulet attractions: the wide aft deck offers the joys of dining al fresco at the outdoor dining table and also the wide bank of cushion pads across the curved stern which can catch the sun or by shaded by shade sails. On the middle deck, sunbeds invite the sun worshippers among the guests, on request they can be shaded.
On the foredeck, there is a wonderfully inviting curved seating bench with a small table to enjoy the sights on the passing landscape of the Turkish coast or for enjoying sunset drinks while the gulet La Bella Vita rests in a tranquil bay.
The crew of the Captain, chef, hostess, and crew give exceptional service, with the chef preparing excellent meals and the crew serving meals, drinks, and general room service. The crew attends discretely professionally to all guest’s needs, arranging activities onboard – perhaps with the generous number of water toys or for onshore excursions. If the wind is suitable they will hoist the sails to give their guests the unique experience of a Blue Voyage when the gulet floats under sails silently and gracefully through the waves.

- In Turkey, it is customary to tip min 5% and up to 12% of the charter price, according to satisfaction of guests.

How does the charter agreement work?
Once your chosen yacht has been confirmed, we will send you a standard MYBA or Goolets charter agreement that needs to be signed. If your chosen cruise route requires a different embarking or disembarking place other than the yacht's central harbor, delivery/redelivery fees may apply.
What are the payment terms?
After signing the MYBA or Goolets charter agreement, a deposit of 50% of the total charter cost is required. You can pay the fee via bank transfer or credit card (only Visa or MasterCard). The other 50%, an Advance Provisioning Allowance (if applicable), taxes, positioning fees, and any previously agreed charges are payable via bank transfer eight weeks before departure.

What are the actual operating expenses?
Once you made the final payment of the charter, you pay the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). Under MYBA terms, this fee is usually between 30% - 40% of the total charter cost.
This covers the operating expenses of a charter (explained under Charter Terms), such as fuel, food, drinks, port fees, and ad hoc incidentals. The APA is given to the captain before the start of your charter. Some yachts and gulets also offer food/drinks packages which are normally paid in cash during embarkation, while the port taxes are paid during embarkation according to the costs presented by the captain. The Captain ensures that the yacht is fully fuelled and stocked when you step on board.
While an up-to-date summary of accounts can be requested at any time during your charter, a full set of accounts will normally be submitted by your captain at the end of the cruise.
In case of surpassing the amount of money already paid during your yacht charter (with the APA), additional funds (in cash) will be required at once. If there is an outstanding balance from the yacht charter, it should be settled in cash or by bank transfer before you disembark. In case of a remaining credit at the end of your charter, you will be fully reimbursed.
If a transfer by car to and from the yacht is required, it can be arranged either by the charter company or by the yacht’s captain, payment for which will be deducted from your APA.
How can we make your yacht charter personalized?
To ensure a unique and tailor-made charter experience, we will send you a detailed questionnaire eight weeks before you embark on your yacht. You can tell us your group's preferences and special requirements, such as dietary or medical needs, any particular wishes regarding exercise, entertainment, or if you are celebrating a special occasion.
Are internet and satellite TV connections available onboard?
In case you really need to get some work done during your vacation, no worries. On most yachts, there is mobile broadband internet and satellite TV, so you will stay connected to the rest of the world. Just keep in mind that the service can be limited in some areas (you are in the middle of the sea after all). If you anticipate regular usage of the internet, let us know prior to embarking, as upgrades might be subject to availability and additional fees may apply.
Is smoking allowed onboard?
Smoking is permitted only on the outside decks, and on some yachts, only in dedicated outdoor areas. Please consult our charter brokers for more information. For safety reasons, smoking indoors is strictly prohibited on all yachts.
Are tips for the crew mandatory?
Even though tips are not mandatory, the guests normally extend a gratuity to the devoted crew. The amount depends on the guest's satisfaction, but it is approximately 10% of the charter fee. The tips are equally distributed among all crew members by the captain.
Should I get any insurance?
In case of unforeseen circumstances that might prevent the charter, we highly recommend taking out the Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance to protect the investment. Besides that, the guests should be covered by Personal Accident and Medical Insurance, and their belongings are insured against theft, loss, or damage. Charterers’ Liability insurance is also highly recommended. Contact your broker for further assistance and additional advice regarding the insurance.
How are the charter rates calculated?
Charter rates are estimated weekly. If a charter exceeds seven days, they are calculated pro-rata against the weekly rate divided by seven and multiplied by the number of charter days. Keep in mind that some yachts are only chartered on a weekly (Saturday-Saturday or Sunday-Sunday) basis, especially during the high season.
High and low season rates vary depending on charter locations and types of yachts. The high rates apply to the most popular charter periods (July/August and Christmas/New Year), and to all major events. Low season rates apply to all other periods.
The charter rates on our website are up to date but may be subject to change.
What are the charter terms?
Most charter rates are based on MYBA Terms, which entail that the yacht is in full commission, with all necessary equipment, properly insured for marine risks, and managed by a crew, whose wages, food, and clothing are the owner’s expense.
All other operating expenses are charged to the charterer and include (but are not limited to): fuel and lubricating oils for the yacht and her tenders; local taxes; pilotage; port, harbor, and marina dues; customs clearance; water and power; personal laundry; all provisions, wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks and consumables for the charterer’s group; shoreside excursions, telecommunication, and internet costs.
Please note that, occasionally, a yacht may offer an alteration on the terms described above. For further information about specific yachts, consult your broker.
Do any other taxes apply?
For charters in European waters, Value Added Tax and delivery costs may be charged on the gross Charter Fee, due to the European Union tax legislation. In other countries, local taxes may also apply. Depending on your chosen charter destination, our brokers will provide any prevalent rates.

La Bella Vita's main deck boasts a spacious saloon with an adjacent dining area, perfect for socialising and enjoying meals. Expansive foredecks with oversized sunbeds and a comfortable seating area ensure plenty of space for sunbathing or lounging, while meals are mostly taken at the outdoor dining table on the aft deck - surrounded by stunning sea views. how does charter Agreement work ? Once your chosen Gulet yacht has been confirmed, we will send you a standard Gulet Broker Yachting charter agreement that needs to be signed. Payment Options We will require a 50 % deposit of the gulet rental to secure your reservation in Turkey, this is payable by bank transfer. The remaining balance including food monies, is payable 5 weeks before departure by bank transfer or alternatively the full amount may be paid in cash on arrival.

With her latest refit in 2022, the yacht boasts a wooden hull and superstructure. LA BELLA VITA is available for blue water cruising and accommodates up to twelve guests in six staterooms, while her crew of seven offers professional service on board.

The Gullet LA BELLA VITA was specifically designed with luxury yacht chartering in mind featuring beautiful mahogany wood throughout, decorated with luxurious fabrics and fittings. Her main salon is spacious, spanning the full width of the 8.84m (29 ft) beam. There is a large, comfortable L-shaped couch and entertainment centre to port and a formal dining table for 12 guests to starboard.
The yacht sleeps 12 charter guests in 6 stunning and highly-comfortable cabins, including a master suite, a VIP cabin, and two double and two twin cabins. Her aft master cabin is particularly spacious, located below decks to the aft spanning the full width of the beam. It features large windows running along the aft of the cabin, an elevated centerline king bed with a settee to port and a writing or vanity desk to starboard. The two twin cabins are located forward of the master to port and starboard in the aft section of the yacht, accessed via a private staircase from the salon.
The forward cabins are accessed via a staircase forward of the salon and include a luxurious VIP cabin that is also full width of the beam, featuring dramatic downlights that sets the mood with different colours. The VIP Cabin also boasts a couch. The two double cabins are located to port and starboard. All cabins have their own ensuite facilities.
LA BELLA VITA has a huge deck, perfect for sunbathing or relaxing while on charter. The yacht carries oversized sunbeds forward as well as a seating area. The aft deck is the perfect social centre with a large al fresco dining table with a bimini for shade.

She was designed and built-in 2010, is 42 meters in length and comfortably sails with 12 guests and a professional crew of 7. She has 6 spacious cabins, 2 master, 2 double and 2 twin that come as standard with satellite TV, music system and air-conditioning, which is available 24 hours a day and opulent ensuite bathrooms, we highly recommend you to look at the gallery photographs as the standard of this boat is evident with every shot, the incredible bedrooms have been designed to please the eye whilst providing you with comfort and modern amenities, throughout all cabins, the neutral colours enhance the rich teak wood accents of the build. The bathrooms have beautiful fittings, Homestyle WC, a Shower unit in each cabin.
Two luxurious outstanding features is a fully equipped sauna in one of her bedrooms, perfect after a swim and in the other master suite there is a beautiful colourful glass mosaic wall that surrounds the ensuite bathroom, creating a unique atmosphere.
This graceful yacht has plenty of entertaining space with front and rear handbuilt seating areas on deck, handcrafted to make the most of every inch of space available. There is a wonderful raised sundeck with loungers, deck shower and sea ladder, an alfresco dining space where meals are prepared in the fully equipped modern kitchen (Ice Machine, Coffee machine, Wine cooler) this dining space has a removable shade awning perfect for all weather.
The large inside air-conditioned lounge is decorated in neutral tones, there are a large and dining table and sofa, giving you the option to eat inside, the lounge provides satellite TV, music system, CD & DVD Player and Internet access in Turkish waters. Completing this gulet’s extra advantages are, Snorkelling Equipment, Fishing tackle, water skis, canoe, Ringo, banana and wakeboard, there is also the extra added use of the Jetski (Daily use and fuel is extra).
She sails out of the castle port of Bodrum and with so much to offer she makes private gulet rentals an unmissable option.
