Lil yachty launches his own frozen pizza line sold exclusively in walmart stores nationwide.

Lil Yachty has gone from foodie to stepping into the industry.

The Grammy-nominated rapper has launched Yachty’s Pizzeria, his own frozen pizza line, according to a press release shared with AfroTech. Lil Yachty’s first-ever frozen pizza line is exclusively sold in Walmart stores nationwide.

Lil Yachty Announces His Launch

“I’ve loved making and eating pizza my whole life, so this is a project I’m really excited about and have been for a long time,” Lil Yachty shared in a press statement. “We made some wild flavors but there’s still something for everybody. I take my pizza seriously so I’m looking forward to seeing what people think.”

Collaborating With UMG

Serving as an extension of his brand as both an artist and entrepreneur, the launch is under Deep Cuts, the U.S. brand for a line of premium frozen pizzas created by Universal Music Group for Brands (UMGB), the brands’ partnership division of Universal Music Group (UMG), according to the press release. UMGB’s mission is to support the elevation of culturally relevant artists and brands.

The Manufacturer

For Yachty’s Pizzeria’s manufacturing, it is led by Richelieu Foods, which is described as “a private label company widely known in the food and supermarket industry for its superior array of brand products in the business segments of frozen and deli pizza; and dressings and sauces.”

“Yachty’s Pizzeria is an exciting example of a strategic brand extension that both represents the artist’s interest, passion and personality as well as a way to help him expand his business portfolio,” said Richard Yaffa, EVP, Global Brands, UMG. “It’s a thrill to be able to continue to find new ways for our artists to connect with their fans around the world and support these campaigns with best-in-class marketing and creative support.”

The Frozen Pizza Line Flavors

As aforementioned by Lil Yachty, a few of his offered creations are outside of the norm but he welcomes everyone to dig in. The pizzas feature Buffalo Style Chicken, Hot Honey Cheese, Pepperoni & Bacon, and Veggie Supreme.

Each box is priced at $6.98.

Lil Yachty’s New Frozen Pizza Line Now Available Nationwide at Walmart

Joining the ever-growing list of entertainers entering the food game is rapper Lil Yachty , with the launch of his first-ever frozen pizza line, Yachty’s Pizzeria.

Available exclusively in-store at Walmarts nationwide, the offering comes from Deep Cuts , a Universal Music Group (UMG) created premium frozen pizza brand manufactured by Richelieu Foods, which is a widely known private label company in the food and supermarket industry.

“I’ve loved making and eating pizza my whole life, so this is a project I’m really excited about and have been for a long time. We made some wild flavors but there’s still something for everybody. I take my pizza seriously so I’m looking forward to seeing what people think,” said Lil Yachty.

Yachty’s Pizzeria premieres with four deliciously appealing flavors that were created using some of Lil Yachty’s favorite cheeses, seasonings and toppings.

Priced affordably at $6.98, the complete line-up includes:

Buffalo Style Chicken: Layered with Yachty’s own buffalo ranch sauce and covered in mozzarella cheese, this pizza is topped with spicy chopped buffalo chicken breast and crispy French-fried onions.
Hot Honey Cheese: Topped with a deep bubbly blend of Mozzarella, Provolone, Monterey Jack, Asiago, Romano, and Parmesan on top of a hot tomato sauce that’s sweetened with real honey.
Pepperoni & Bacon: A pizza crust that’s crispy on the outside with tender freshly baked dough on the inside covered in delicious, melted mozzarella cheese, smokey bacon, and deep layers of pepperoni.
Veggie Supreme: Topped with a special mix of bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, and olives, covered with the realest blend of shredded Gouda and Fontina cheeses.

The 25-year-old rapper’s brand is called Yachty’s Pizzeria. Lil Yachty’s frozen pizza is available exclusively at Walmart .

“I’ve loved making and eating pizza my whole life, so this is a project I’m really excited about and have been for a long time,” Lil Yachty said in a press release. “We made some wild flavors but there’s still something for everybody. I take my pizza seriously so I’m looking forward to seeing what people think,”

Lil Yachty created Yachty’s Pizzeria with the help of Universal Music Group for Brands. Richelieu Foods manufactures the frozen pizza line.

Lil Yachty Launches His Own Pizza In Walmart

Lil Yachty has branched out into the world TV dinners launching his own frozen pizza line.

Yachty’s Pizzeria is now available for purchase in Walmart freezers across the United States after being launched on Tuesday (September 6).

“I’ve loved making and eating pizza my whole life, so this is a project I’m really excited about and have been for a long time,” Yachty said in a statement. “We made some wild flavors but there’s still something for everybody. I take my pizza seriously so I’m looking forward to seeing what people think.”

The pizzas will come in four savory flavors including Buffalo Style Chicken, Hot Honey Cheese, Pepperoni & Bacon as well as Veggie Supreme. All pies will retail for a fair $6.98.

“It’s a thrill to be able to continue to find new ways for our artists to connect with their fans around the world and support these campaigns with best-in-class marketing and creative support.”

The Atlanta native has long loved pizza and he even told 88Rising in 2016 that he’s eaten a slice just about every day of his life since the 2nd grade.

“I’ve been doing it for years,” he said. “[I’ve been doing it since,] like, second grade. I eat pizza every day for my whole life. That’s just my life now.”

Yachty’s Pizzeria came together in the first-ever partnership with Deep Cuts, which is the premium frozen pizza brand created by Universal Music Group.

The eclectic rapper has laid low on the music side of things so far in 2022 without dropping an official single. He recently celebrated his 25th birthday with Drake in Turks & Caicos. Yachty even pledged his allegiance to the 6 God, who has been a mentor figure, with an OVO owl tattoo on his wrist .

Yachty isn’t the only rapper to venture into the world of food in recent months. In August, Snoop Dogg followed in the footsteps of Master P with a new cereal called Snoop Loopz , which lives under the Broadus Foods umbrella.

The No Limit Records CEO shared a video of the cereal box as Snoop’s 1998 No Limit Records single “Still A G Thang” plays in the back, and he declared they were going to dominate the grocery store game.

Not your average buffalo chicken pizza, the Buffalo Style Chicken comes topped with crispy French-fried onions and is made using a signature buffalo ranch sauce. And for those who live for a satisfying sweet and savory combo, Hot Honey Cheese is sure to tantalize tastebuds thanks in part to a spicy tomato sauce that's sweetened with real honey.

While addressing his new frozen pizza line, Lil Yachty spoke on his dedication to the slice and expressed his excitement about the new brand

Lil Yachty is entering the food industry with his new frozen pizza brand Yachty’s Pizzeria, and he shared his excitement about the launch with People .

In the interview, the rapper told the publication that his love of pizza piqued his interest in entering this lane.

“Because I [love it],” he expressed.

“I'm going to get into dining-style pizza in due time, but I love frozen pizza, genuinely — a lot. I always want to do things in partnerships that I like in real life.”

For those wondering how the pizza brand will stand out amongst other frozen pizza companies, the 25-year-old spoke about the taste.

“It's a really interesting taste, and it has this cheddar cheese crust that is unique,” he expressed.

If you're a pizza lover, I think you should always want to try a new pizza. And that's who it's for — the real pizza lovers like myself, or the moms who maybe want to just throw something in the oven for the kids. That was my life growing up. Frozen pizza, f—in' pizza rolls, you know?”

The “Broccolli” rapper shared that Yachty’s Pizzeria comes in four flavors: Buffalo Style Chicken, Hot Honey Cheese, Pepperoni & Bacon, and Veggie Supreme. After being questioned about not adding broccoli as a choice for one of the flavors due to the hit record with the same name, the Georgia native revealed he didn’t include it because he finds the vegetable “disgusting.”

"”Broccoli” was always about marijuana more than vegetables, even though I don't smoke or eat it,” he revealed.

“I hate the smell of broccoli. Steamed broccoli smells so disgusting. I don't eat vegetables, bro. I wouldn't have made a veggie pizza, but it's not all about me.”

The pizza line is exclusively available now at in Walmart stores nationwide and are priced under $7.

Ever wanted a pizza the size of a yacht? How about a little yacht? Well, you still can’t get either of those things (at least not easily), but what you can get is Lil Yachty Pizza at Walmart. Grammy-nominated rapper Lil Yachty launched his own frozen pizza brand called Yachty’s Pizzeria, and they just released their pizzas, in four dank-looking flavors, at Walmart.

Why did Lil Yachty feel the need to make pizza in the first place?

To answer that question with more questions, why not? Who says a great rapper can’t make a great pizza? Troy from High School Musical can sing and play basketball , which means anyone can do anything (if I’m understanding the message of High School Musical correctly)! Lil Yachty has apparently been a big fan of making and eating pizza his whole life, and told Delish that he is “extremely excited” about this project. “We made some wild flavors but there’s still something for everybody,” he added. “I take my pizza seriously so I’m looking forward to seeing what people think.” This dude seems to really have a thing for pizza! And who could blame him? Pizza is great!

So…what are the dank-looking flavors of Lil Yachty Pizza?

Well, those flavors are: Buffalo Style Chicken, Hot Honey Cheese, Pepperoni & Bacon, and Veggie Supreme. But these aren’t just regular ol’ pizzas. The Buffalo Style Chicken comes with french fried onions and a buffalo ranch sauce. The hot honey cheese flavor has a spicy tomato sauce with hot honey for sweetness. Seems like Lil Yachty put a lot of thought-y into this pizza line.

More exciting news: Lil Yachty’s pizza line is being produced by Deep Cuts, a pizza company that plans to offer “a line of premium frozen pizzas created by Universal Music Group for Brands.” This means Lil Yachty’s pizza may be the first in a series of fancy frozen pizzas released by music artists. I don’t know about you, but I really want the next one to be a Butter pizza from BTS. Oooh or a Passionfruit pizza by Drake. Oooooh OR a Pie by the Ocean pizza from DNCE (spoiler alert: it’s seafood themed). Okay, I’ll stop.

I understand this article is done somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but let’s put this thing in perspective. Here’s the reality. Most people DO NOT even know who Lil Yachty is, nor have any reason to want a pizza created by him, and the fact that the pizzas are being made by Universal Music Group is much less impressive than if they were made by something called Universal FOOD Group.
