This boat just had the carburetors rebuilt and full service on both engines. The boat runs great! Boat has T top, birds cage, Lowrance HDS 10 Fish Finder, Chart Plotter, GPS. The boat has all new interior, dive ladder, bait tank,plenty of storageand a 2009 aluminum tandem trailer. This boat would be excellent for diving and fishing. Local Pick Up Only

2000 Seagull/Nautico Power Catamaran - $18,250

Looking for a different rig this year. I love this boat and hate to get rid of her. This is a great Fishing and recreational boat. Great for lakes/rivers/bay or Ocean. (I have had her out in all of these.) Go fishing and water skiing on the same trip! Take it from the Outer banks, to the Chesapeake, to the Potomac to Lake Anna. Lots of fun to drive, the Cat hull lets it cut thru the chop but also makes it very stable, similar to a skiff. (Best of both worlds!) 2000 model Seagull Nautico Explorar 20' (with a cuddy cabin) 2 x 75HP Mercury 2 strokes 11" draft, 8'6" beam 2 x 38 gallon fuel tanks. Cuddy has cushions with Queen sized bed inside. Starboard engine rebuilt in late 2013. Carbs were both rebuilt and water pumps replaced on each motor at that time too. Rebuilt motor has maybe 60 hours on it. Not sure how many hours are on the Port motor. Both motors are 1999 and are running great. I am the 3rd owner of this boat. Have owned it since 2010. The steering cable and console were replaced in 2014. Comes with a bimini and full set of curtains, also a porta-potty installed in the cuddy. 25 gallon live-well. Under gunnel rod storage and additional rod storage inside the cuddy. (2) Blue Optima marine batteries and a spare (other marine battery). 11 rod holders. Electronics: Lowrance HDS8 with sidescan (Gen 1). Also includes a spare 4" B/W Lowrance GPS/Fishfinder. Compass and a VHS radio installed on the dash. Leaner/post/bench seat with under seat storage. Comes with a 2008 loadrite trailer which has a new VA inspection as of Feb 2015. (trailer had new rotors and calipers installed on all 4 wheels in 2013). Seagull nautico catamaran

I am looking at a used 20 foot Seagull nautico. Its a catamran hull and looks pretty nice. Any feedback on these boats? My only concern is that it only has twin 30 gallon tanks which seems like it would have a short range. It has twin 70 horse Evinrude 4 strokes. Any feedback appreciated. Thanks
I saw on another board that in year models 2000 and earlier, many have had deck rot problems, so look for that. I would think you will get 2-2.5 mpg so your max range would be 135 miles w/10% spare, but more likely 100 mile range. I'm guessing a 35 mph top speed - what have you been told?
I honestly haven't got much info at all. The boat is used and at a dealership. I think the company that made the boat is out of business. It seems like it would deliver a very smooth ride though, at least from what I've read of that style hull. Thanks

The Nautico line of powerboats was produced from 1999 until 2001 by Florida based Seagull Boats. Offering a model range between 14 and 27 in length, the center console boats constructed under Nautico by Seagull are suited for offshore fishing.
Seagull also built the Nautico 18, a much smaller, narrower, lower freeboard single and, again, a budget cat. Now, the ProKat 2000 CC was later built from the Seagull/Nautico 20 mold, and THAT ProKat is the same hull, basically, although with a number of improvements (or de-provements, depending on your point of view.)

The Angler was made from molds which are now used for the ProKat 20. Before Angler, the molds were originally built by Seagull Boats of Naples and used for their Seagull (which had only a single engine) and Nautico twenty foot models. If you search here on those last two names, you will find several recent threads where that hull was discussed.
