This 43 m (140 ft) luxury yacht was built by Sun ast Marine in 1984. Motor Yacht LEIGHT STAR is a large superyacht. The yacht is a traditional tri deck yacht. An extra notable feature of this amenity rich motor yacht is her helicopter landing facility. The naval architecture office who actualised the drawings with respect to this ship is Sun Coast and Sharp Design. The vessel had interior design and styling is the work of the talented Sharp Design. Luxury yacht LEIGHT STAR is a handsome yacht that is able to sleep as many as 10 people on board and has a total of 7 qualified crew.

The Build & Design relating to Luxury Yacht LEIGHT STAR

Sun Coast was the naval architect involved in the formal nautical design work for LEIGHT STAR. Also the company Sun Coast and Sharp Design skillfully worked on this venture. Interior designer Sharp Design was commissioned for the internal interior styling. In 1984 she was actually launched with triumph in San Diego Ca and post sea trials and detailing was then handed over to the new owner. Sun ast Marine completed their new build motor yacht in the United States. The core hull was built out of steel. The motor yacht main superstructure is made largely using steel. With a width of 7.1 m or 23.5 feet LEIGHT STAR has reasonable room. A fairly shallow draught of 2.3m (7.5ft) determines the number of certain harbours she can enter into, taking into account their particular characteristics. She had refit improvement and modification carried out in 2008.

Engineering & Speeds For M/Y LEIGHT STAR:

The SERIES 60 engine powering the yacht is produced by DETROIT. Her propulsion units are twin screw propellers (4 blades). The main engine of the ship gives 450 horse power (or 335 kilowatts). She is equiped with 2 engines. The total power for the boat is accordingly 900 HP or 670 KW. As far as stabalisers are concerned she utilises Naiad. The bow thrusters are Schuler.
