The AQUASCAN RIB is instantly recognizable in a sea of common place comparisons. The finest materials are carefully crafted into a luxury rigid inflatable that performs even beyond its unique good looks.

Each boat comes with an array of standard features, including Aquascan Ownership Service. We will provide the service YOU expect and deserve.

Propulsion, weight, performance and ultimate level of safety are all addressed in our custom rigid inflatable tender. Each fiberglass hull is carefully designed and tested for each specific purpose. Due to their low weight Aquascan “RIBs” often outperform some types of similarly sized and powered boats. The maximum speed of the Aquascan inflatable RIB depends on its gross weight, power, length and profile of hull, and sea conditions. Our hulls are made of hand laid composite materials. Since we custom build each boat sometimes our customers require a tender with a lighter weight or higher impact resistance; so Kevlar or Carbon Fiber (or sometimes both) are weaved into the lamination for extra strength.

The hull of an Aquascan yacht tender is shaped to increase the performance of the boat in the water. Aquascan “Deep-V” hulls cut through waves”. They are quick to plane and highly maneuverable. The combination of hull and tube design results in a smooth, dry ride. The tubes on all our custom inflatable tenders are made with hypalon neoprene. Tubes are double seemed to the hull with not one but two trims, providing double trim barrier points.

The more chambers a boat has the more buoyancy the boat is considered to have. Every Aquascan tender has a minimum of 4 chambers. Non skid decks, large seating areas, dry storage, recessed hidden cables, LED navigation and courtesy lights, top grade marine upholstery and more are some of the standard features of Aquascan RIBs.

Model: 17-1 Tender

Cayman Islands: M/Y Eos is a is one of the largest private sailing yachts in the world at 93m. Munson designed and constructed this tender to fit into one of the its unique tender wells. Outfitting includes a 4-into-1 lifting system, fresh water wash down with shower wand, stereo, flip out dive ladder with removable stainless-steel embarkation pole, fold-down seats as well as port and starboard boarding points with collapsible steps and removable stainless-steel grab rail for easy egress and ingress.

Fort Lauderdale, FL: This Munson serves as a yacht tender with single point lifting system. Boat is used to transport two Suzuki DRZ 400 motorcycles, crew and misc. gear. Boat was designed to fit in existing yacht tender storage cradle. Equipment includes four stainless pop-up cleats, swim step, D-rubber fendering, LED courtesy deck lighting, engine box with stainless steel single point lifting eye, Garmin GPSMAP 740S multi-function plotter/sounder, tow post, and foredeck flip-up bench seating

Cayman Islands: This sleek 19’ Munson yacht tender is used to shuttle guests and divers to remote sites away from the mothership. Flip-up benches provide seating for 6 passengers. Cayman Islands: This 21’ Munson is used as a tender to a Delta 62m motor yacht to support sport fishing, scuba diving, and wake boarding activities. Outfitting includes a 3 point lifting system, center console with folding roof for tender garage storage, hydraulic bow door, live bait well, rod holders, 12V anchor winch, tow post, dive bottle racks, dive ladder, Garmin 7610 plotter/sounder, VHF & UHF radios, and Bluetooth stereo with 8 speakers.

Majuro, Marshall Islands: M/V SuRI is a 201ft motor yacht that hosts Antarctic Peninsula cruises. They use Munson is used to transport a Yamaha Rhino UTV to shore. Other duties include crabbing, shrimping and lobster fishing responsibility. Four-way lifting eyes and a custom cradle allow her to be secured on deck, and inflatable Polyform fendering keeps the knocks at bay while tied alongside. A 48" T-top provides seating for two.

Pompano, FL: This nicely finished 23’ sport model is built for fun in the sun. Features include stand up paddle board racks, port & starboard side doors, bow door dive ladder, Flexiteek synthetic teak decking, 15 gallon fresh water washdown system, Yeti cooler, and underwater transom lights. Electronics include a Garmin 7212 plotter with radar, sounder, sat. weather, AIS, auto pilot, VHF and Kenwood KDC stereo with bluetooth and SiriusXM radio.

Valletta, Malta: This 24’ Munson serves as a yacht tender for the 77m superyacht M/V Yersin. Outfitting includes a four point lifting system, side boarding doors, anchor windlass with pulpit, dive bottle racks, dive ladder, trim tabs, battery charger, block heater and oil change pump. Electronics include a Simrad NSE8 plotter with integrated radar, sounder, class B AIS, and VHF radio. A canvas boat cover and cradle was supplied for storage on the mothership.

The Netherlands: This 28’ Catamaran Tender was built to service a Damen Exploration Yacht. Outfitting includes a unique low profile roof top lifting system, port and starboard boarding doors, removable tow post, fuel transfer pump, fresh water wash down with shower wand, stereo, Garmin navigation suite, flip out pedestrian ramp on the bow door, 12v LED spot light, dive bottle rack, dive ladder, interceptor trim tabs,12v anchor windlass and hydraulic jack plates.

Bahamas: The 30’ Monsoon lives aboard a 48 meter yacht to serve as a fishing, diving and beach tender. The cabin accommodates seating for up to 8 passengers and includes a head, galley and air conditioning. Flybridge controls with joystick piloting offers excellent visibility when navigating over shallow reefs. The main deck and rooftop are finished with SeaDek to keep surfaces cool in intense heat and sun. Cargo deck tie down pockets allow for transport of various motorcycles to and from the mothership. A fuel transfer pump with 12’ hose and nozzle allows her to refuel other tenders on board.

Muscat, Oman: A pair of these 34’ tenders are used for transporting full size vehicles, divers, and personnel from the mothership. Outfitting includes seating for 15 passengers, side boarding doors, dive ladder, fresh water washdown system, 2000 watt inverter, battery charger, Garmin radar/plotter/sounder, stereo with 4 speakers, rubber deck matting, and 12V anchor windlass.

Abu Dhabi, UAE: This 38’ Munson is used as a tender for a superyacht in the Middle East. Its multifunctional design serves to transport personnel and vehicles as well as diving excursions away from the mothership. The air-conditioned cabin includes seating for 10 persons. Additional outfitting includes four-point lifting eyes, port and starboard side dive doors, bow and stern dive ladders, dive bottle racks, push knees, tow post, anchor windlass and Hamilton Jet Blue Arrow MouseBoat maneuvering controller.

Cyprus: This 38’ Munson Yacht Tender lives aboard an 130m super yacht and is used to ferry cargo and personnel to exotic ports of call around the world. Outfitting includes an enclosed wheelhouse with air conditioner, bench seating for eight passengers, Maxilift M230 Deck crane, port and starboard side boarding doors, tow post, bow and stern anchor pulpits, tie down pockets, four point lifting system, hydraulic bow door, flip up deck seats, dive bottle rack and Raymarine navigation suite.

Cypress: This 44’ Munson Yacht Tender lives aboard a 142 meter yacht and serves as a ferry for two land rovers, a dive boat and a parasailing platform.
