As your “Buyers Agent” our brokers will protect your interest throughout the entire purchase process; below is a list of what to expect on your behalf:

• Search for vessels that meet your criteria and are worth looking into
• Research competitive market pricing and recorded actual sale amounts
• Provide Boat History Report on all vessels of interest
• Help negotiate a fair deal
• Advise & help with the assembly of a competent professional survey team
• Coordinate schedules for the survey, schedule short haul with boat yard
• Renegotiate price/terms based on any survey deficiencies
• Negotiate escrows that may need to be established
• Hold escrow funds in a Brewer Yacht Sales escrow account
• Perform Title search, order USGC abstract of title on documented vessels; $50.00 fee.
• Prepare official closing documents and electronically archive these documents after closing
• Electronic transactions, electronic deal forms, and electronic banking offers expedited services
• Satisfy any liens against the vessel prior to seller receiving proceeds
• Advise on sales tax laws that will vary by state
• Prepare USCG documentation application & state registration paperwork for client to register vessel
• Secure proper deletion of registry on foreign flagged vessels
• Provide USCG deletion for vessels sold to non-US citizens.
• Provide finance and insurance options
• Advise on shipping options where applicable
• Provide assistance with summer slip and winter storage
• Suggest maintenance services that are available for hire
• All transactions will comply with YBAA standards & code of ethics

Networking with brokers from Florida to Maine, across the Great Lakes and down to the Gulf Coast, we’re confident we can complete our mission!

The buyer’s agent is paid only when a sale is made, paid by the seller from the commission due the listing broker, who then splits with the buyer’s broker agent. There is a $175.00 processing fee to the buyer for this professional service, if and when the vessel is purchased. A large percentage of yacht sales are produced by this arrangement, the professional yacht sales communities participate in cooperative efforts on behalf of their clients.

Boarding the Kando 90 is via her portside passerelle or the swim platform if on a floating dock.  Up six steps is an ample size Aft Deck with both fixed and loose seating around a dining table. The Salon next forward has a couch to starboard and two chairs to port.  Next forward is an eight-place dining table.

Forward to starboard is a Day Head and the entrance to the full beam On-Deck Master Cabin with a large Head with two basins, toilet, bidet shower and a spa tub.

From the dining area forward to port is a large Galley and private stairs to a captains cabin on the lower level all the way forward. This cabin has a walkaround berth on centerline and a large Head and walk-in closet.

Back on the Main Deck in the entry foyer steps lead down to the four guest suites. Aft are matching walk-around queen berths with full Heads.  Forward are matching double berth suites with full Heads

Back to the entry lobby steps lead above to the Skylounge Deck. All the way forward is a large Pilothouse with a centerline Helm and guest seating aft to stbd.

The full beam Skylounge has a walk behind bar with four stools and going aft two sofas facing inboard with occasional chairs aft.

A Day Head is located forward on the starboard side.

The boat deck has plenty of room for outdoor seating forward of the tender. Also on the boat deck are steps to the Flybridge.

The Flybridge has an upper Helm on centerline, a walk behind bar to port and a large dining area to starboard.  Aft is a large sunbed area for several people. A large3 FRP hardtop covers much of the Flybridge.

Tender Boat / Rescue Boat

The BUILDER, for a period of 12 months following acceptance of the YACHT by the BUYER, undertakes to repair and rectify at its own cost and expense and free of charge to the BUYER, any defects - including latent defects or deficiencies - concerning the YACHT or parts thereof, which are caused by defective material and/or poor workmanship on the part of the BUILDER, its servants, employees or Subcontractors, but excluding defects arising after delivery due to normal wear and tear or improper handling of the YACHT or caused or aggravated by omission or improper use or maintenance of the YACHT on the part of the BUYER, its servants or agents and excluding BUYER’s Supplies.

The repairs, replacements and/or rectifications shall be made at the BUILDER's yard. However, the BUYER may, after having notified the BUILDER in writing, cause the necessary repairs, replacements and/or rectifications to be carried out elsewhere provided that the BUILDER declares its consent to do so. In such case, the BUILDER shall, at its own cost, be entitled to forward necessary replacement parts or materials. The BUILDER's liability shall in such case be limited to pay the cost of repairs, including travelling and forwarding expenses, to the price of the work which the BUILDER would normally charge at its yard. In any case, the BUILDER shall co-operate with the BUYER to find proper solutions to rectify the deficiency.

Five bodies found in sunken superyacht, officials say

Divers have found five bodies in the sunken wreckage of a superyacht that sank off Sicily this week, Italian officials told news agencies and local media Wednesday, leaving one person still missing.

Three bodies were brought ashore and two others were also found inside the shipwreck, Salvatore Cocina, head of the Sicily civil protection agency, told the Associated Press, after divers were photographed by the agency unloading body bags. Cocina did not identify the deceased.

The British-flagged, 183-foot-long Bayesian was carrying 12 passengers and 10 crew members roughly half a mile from the Sicilian fishing village of Porticello when it encountered what authorities called a “violent storm” about 4 a.m. Monday.

Of the 15 people rescued, eight – including a 1-year-old girl – were taken to hospitals in conditions that were not life-threatening. The body of the yacht’s chef, identified as Recaldo Thomas, a Canadian Antiguan, was found during initial recovery efforts.

Among the passengers was Mike Lynch, 59, the British founder of the tech venture capital firm Invoke Capital and co-founder of the tech firms Autonomy and Darktrace. This summer, he was acquitted of all charges after a decadelong U.S. fraud trial related to the 2011 sale of Autonomy to Hewlett-Packard.

The voyage on the Bayesian, owned by a company controlled by Lynch’s wife, Angela Bacares, was intended to be a celebration of his legal victory, Britain’s Telegraph reported.

Among those missing were Lynch; his 18-year-old daughter, Hannah; Morgan Stanley International Chairman Jonathan Bloomer and his wife, Judy; and attorney Chris Morvillo, a partner at Clifford Chance in New York who represented Lynch in the recently concluded legal battle, and his wife, Neda. Bacares, Lynch’s wife, was among the survivors.

It’s not clear exactly what type of storm struck the Bayesian, but weather data suggests it was probably a tornadic waterspout or severe thunderstorm.

Charlotte Golunski, a guest of Lynch who was rescued, described to Italian media holding onto her 1-year-old daughter, Sophie, amid the storm. “For two seconds I lost my baby in the sea,” she told Giornale di Sicilia. “Then I immediately hugged her again amid the fury of the waves.”

Lynch sold Autonomy, which was once England’s biggest software company, to Hewlett-Packard in 2011 for more than $11 billion. He was subsequently accused of overvaluing the company and was charged in the United States with fraud. He was acquitted in June.

The Bayesian was built in 2008 by Italian shipmaker Perini Navi, according to the SuperYacht Times.

The Sir Robert, a Dutch-flagged sailing vessel anchored nearby, responded immediately to help survivors before the Italian coast guard arrived.

The yacht sank to a depth of more than 160 feet. The first attempt by fire-brigade cave divers to search inside the yacht was unsuccessful, rescue authorities said.

ICIJ previously found that OneCoin’s founder Ruja Ignatova and some of her associates had bought properties worth millions in Dubai while promoting the fraudulent cryptocurrency scheme.

A British law firm representing a group of OneCoin investors said that a London court has issued worldwide freezing orders on assets belonging to Bulgarian fraudster Ruja Ignatova and some of her associates, months after the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and its media partners revealed the promoters of the fraudulent cryptocurrency scheme invested in luxury properties in the United Arab Emirates.

International authorities have accused Ruja Ignatova of being the mastermind of a $4 billion pyramid scheme that has claimed more than 3.5 million victims around the world since its launch in 2014.

Ignatova went missing in 2018, shortly after the U.S. Justice Department indicted her on fraud and money laundering charges.

According to ICIJ’s media partner Bird , files seized by Sofia police during a search of a slain police officer’s home appear to show that Ignatova was later killed on a yacht in Greece on the order of a Bulgarian mafia boss. But some news outlets have questioned that account.

The London High Court’s decision, made public earlier this month, was part of a legal claim brought by a group of more than 400 OneCoin investors who are seeking damages to compensate them for the losses they suffered as a result of the alleged fraud, according to their lawyers at Mishcon de Reya LLP. Besides Ignatova, the order targeted seven people allegedly connected to OneCoin and two Guernsey companies used by Ignatova to buy two London properties, according to the BBC , which has reported on the scam extensively.

“This is a really important step for victims who have been seeking justice for the fraud that has been perpetrated against them,” Mishcon de Reya’s partner Rhymal Persad said in a statement published on the law firm’s website. “It has taken a long time to get to this point, but this is a significant step to ensure those allegedly responsible for carrying out these unlawful acts are properly held to account.”

ICIJ previously reported that, in 2015, Ignatova used a Dubai shell company called Oceana Properties Ltd. to buy a $2.7 million penthouse apartment on the top floor of a skyscraper overlooking Palm Jumeirah, an archipelago of artificial islands in the Persian Gulf.

Like Ignatova, at least 11 of her associates owned some of Dubai’s most exclusive properties over the last nine years, the investigation revealed.

The findings were part of Dubai Unlocked , an investigation into the role of the emirate as an investment hub for criminals and suspects. The project was coordinated by the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project and Norwegian financial outlet E24. It was based on leaked confidential Dubai land records obtained by the Center for Advanced Defense Studies, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit organization that analyzes data on transnational security matters.

According to the Dubai records, the buyers included OneCoin’s co-founder Karl Sebastian Greenwood, who is serving a 20-year sentence in the U.S. for his involvement in the OneCoin scheme; and Kari Wahlroos, a Finnish businessman who presented himself as OneCoin’s “European ambassador” at promotional events organized by the company. Greenwood declined to answer ICIJ partners’ questions. Wahlroos, who has not been charged, told Finnish broadcaster YLE that he owned several apartments in Dubai. He denied knowing that the company was used to launder money, as alleged by prosecutors. “I’ve never had a penny to do with OneCoin itself,” Wahlroos said.

Both Greenwood and Walhroos are among the subjects of the global asset freeze alongside Ignatova, the BBC reported .

It is not clear if the freezing order, which is intended to prevent the defendants from disposing of their assets, will have any immediate effect. The order may not be enforceable unless the courts in the countries where the assets are located formally acknowledge and recognize it.

Jonathan Levy, a lawyer representing other OneCoin fraud victims, told ICIJ he was skeptical about the order’s effects, considering that “nobody knows where Ignatova is.” He said that there are $2 billion worth of assets connected to the scheme yet to be “uncovered” around the world and that are unlikely to be in England, where the asset freeze would have the most impact.

In 2019, after several banks flagged transactions involving the “Cryptoqueen” and her companies as suspicious , Ignatova’s company Oceana Properties finalized the sale of her luxurious Dubai flat.

A title deed obtained by ICIJ’s partner Paper Trail Media shows that a young British lawyer bought the apartment for about $1.6 million. It is not clear who handled the sale on behalf of Ignatova and pocketed the money. The lawyer who bought the property did not respond to reporters’ questions.

Ignatova remains on the FBI’s list of most wanted fugitives. The agency considers her to be alive “until there is documented evidence that she is dead,” a spokesperson told ICIJ.

The U.S. government recently increased the reward offered “for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of Ruja Ignatova” to $5 million .
