Custom Line 108 For Sale

“When I first saw the Custom Line 108 Ferretti yacht resting along the quay in Cannes, France, I was struck by her shadow-inducing size juxtaposed with what was a relatively low profile, enhanced by glass. Lots of it,” Yachting previously reported .

“Glass is used extensively on the Custom Line 108 to help connect those on board the Ferretti yacht with the salt of the ocean. For instance, the high-impact-resistant, rectangular hullside ocean-view windows in the four VIP cabins measure about 18 square feet apiece. The main-deck master’s windows have a curious eyebrow look, also providing stunning saltwater vistas. After giving her a good look from the dock, I walked across the passerelle onto a deck of warm, welcoming teak. A bevy of international journalists were mingling, marveling, pointing and staring wide-eyed.”

Hull No. 3 of the Custom Line 108 is called Alandrea and is for sale with Allied Marine with an asking price of $8.2 million. Alandrea is a 2016 build with a five-stateroom layout, a hydraulic fold-out terrace and a beach club.

One of this stylish motor yacht’s highlights is its outdoor spaces. The patented dual-mode hydraulic transom door folds down to create a dance-floor-sized teak beach club. Add a few chaise-style chairs, an umbrella and spend the day enjoying the water toys. It’s worth noting the vessel’s tenders are not included with the sale.

Alfresco dining can be found in multiple locations onboard Alandrea , including the cockpit, the flybridge and the foredeck. The cockpit has a folding fixed table and loose chairs for up to eight guests, which is forward of the three-person, adjustable sun pad. The side deck to starboard has a hydraulic fold-out terrace, creating a great spot for a private meal for two with views.

The foredeck has two L-shaped settees and fixed tables facing each other set around a teak walkway on centerline. Its raised position makes it the go-to place to grab lunch and take in the water or do sundowners on the hook with friends. Additionally, there are sun pads abaft the tables to port and starboard to catch some rays.

Sizable entertainment spaces continue on the flybridge where the current owner has five chaise lounge chairs in the after section, abaft the hot tub. An aft-facing, L-shaped settee is forward of the hot tub. The forward half of the flybridge is covered by a hardtop with a sunroof, in case the captain wants to dial up the sunlight. When it’s time to dine, there is a U-shaped settee and fixed table with two chairs to port, while to starboard is a two-person bar.

The upper helm station is forward and to port with additional bench seating to starboard. A sliding glass door splits the seating leading down to the raised pilothouse and lower helm station.

“An abundance of light, both natural and LED, enhances the volume of the salon, while the bleached-oak sole seems to lengthen it…” Yachting previously reported. “The area is built for cocktails, with a conversation-encouraging, light-fabric, C-shaped settee opposing a large sliding door that leads to the starboard-side foldout teak-deck terrace.”

Alandrea ’s salon shares these same features and has a formal dining space forward with room for eight guests.

The well-appointed galley is forward of the salon’s formal dining, just take either of the walkways flanking the forward bulkhead. The day head is to starboard. Galley appliances include:

The two amidships VIP staterooms split the centerline with athwartships double berths and en suite heads. Forward the two guest staterooms have twin single berths, a third Pullman berth and en suite heads. Yachting previously noted that all four staterooms belowdecks are “finished to the same level as the master.” There are three-cabin crew quarters with a single berth captain’s cabin and two crew cabins with bunk berths.

Power for this Custom Line 108 is twin 2,638 hp MTU 16V2000 M96 diesels with 3,200 hours, giving it a reported 20-plus-knot cruise speed.

All prices are generated by a calculator and serve as a guide for new charterers. Any additional information of the Price Details section has priority over above. Availability is always subject to confirmation. Gratuity not included for it's discretionary character, usually 5%-25% of the Base Price.

10-nights over the Christmas/ New Years holiday @ $140,000 plus expenses Low Rate for all other weeks of the year. Special Conditions: If there is a delay in delivery due to circumstance beyond the owner’s control and the charter period is agreed to take place but for a lesser period; the parties agree that the commissions payable will only be on the term of the charter completed. The Charterer will be refunded for the time of the delay. The parties agree the Clause 24 (d) will be eliminated. (Regarding paying sales commissions if the Charterer buys the yacht within 2 years from charter dates) Hurricane Addendum as part of the contract for charters encompassing the dates of June 1 through November 30. Captain Rob Anderson Having grown up in central Florida Rob developed his love of the water at a young age. He dove into the maritime world as an engineer and has quickly become one of the most versatile captain’s in the industry working his way up to captain. Rob has a meticulous eye for detail, with his extensive knowledge of the Caribbean and easy going leadership style and outstanding professionalism to ensure the best possible experience for guests. Mate Michael Dingman Michael is a lover of the dynamic world of water sports and finds joy in the rush and adrenaline that comes along with them. He has combined that love of water sports into a career where he can share that passion with guests onboard. He is a firm believer that life is meant to be enjoyed, embracing each moment with a spirit of fun and enthusiasm. Deckhand/Engineer Siyabonga Mphokeli Siyabonga, or Siya for short, was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and at a young age moved to Cape Town. After finishing school, he started a career in hospitality where he gained valuable experience and was loved and enjoyed by everyone because of his sincere and open character. During Siya’s career in hospitality, he met a lot of people who worked on yachts and from their experiences he decided he would love to follow a career in yachting. It presents great opportunities and Siya’s goal is to become a Captain. He is motivated and driven with great problem-solving skills. He started his career as a day worker and quickly learned the ropes to move into the Deckhand/Engineering position. Siya has a great passion for the industry. He completes and delivers tasks effectively and is flexible and adaptable in all situations. He enjoys running, hiking, and keeping fit on a regular basis. He has spent many years on successful charter yachts such as SOVEREIGN, KALEEN, CRESCENDO and more. His experience the Bahamas, the US East Coast, spans the entire Caribbean with many years based in Saint Martin. Mike is well versed in fishing and loves all watersports. <br /> <br /> First Mate Liam Lowrey<br /> Liam began his yachting career in 2011 and has spent time on numerous boats with varied itineraries around the world. He once sailed 7,400 miles from Cape Town, South Africa to Florida over the course of 64 days competing in superyacht regattas and sailing with professional crew. Liam has spent most of his yachting career in South Florida, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, and the Western Mediterranean. He has a myriad of interests outside of yachting that include: travel, culture, art, history, style, function, design, engineering, food growing and sustainability, cooking, photography, diving, sailing, fishing, watersports, woodwork, leatherwork, and up-cycling and restoring anything of interest. <br /> <br /> Stewardess Alana De Jager<br /> Alana is originally fromSouth Africa, where she grew up in the small surf town of Jeffreys Bay. She moved to Cape Town with her twin sister to pursue their passion for garment construction and finished with a BA Degree in Fashion design back in 2014. After completing her BA Degree, she had a quest for travel and adventure. The motivation to live and work on the water came naturally and in 2015 Alana decided to pursue her career within the yachting industry. Having worked on boats ranging between 30m to 60m and completing three crossings in the last 7 years, Alana is committed to give her guests the most enjoyable experience and making sure all their needs are attended to. Alana worked with Captain Mike on board M/Y CRESCENDO where she completed many successful charters and continued to M/Y ALANDREA where she has transferred and applied her longevity, skills, and experience to complete many more successful charters on board.<br /> <br /> Deckhand Siyabonga Mphokeli<br /> Siyabonga was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and at a young age moved to Cape Town. After finishing school, he started a career in hospitality where he gained valuable experience and was loved and enjoyed by everyone because of his sincere and open character. During Siya’s career in hospitality, he met a lot of people who worked on yachts and from their experiences he decided he would love to follow a career in yachting. It presents great opportunities and Siya’s goal is to become a Captain. He is motivated and driven with great problem-solving skills. He started his career a few months ago as a day worker and was kept on as a Deckhand/Engineering Assistant until finalizing of its pending sale. Siya has a great passion for the industry, he completes and delivers tasks effectively and is flexible and adaptable in all situations. He enjoys running, hiking, and keeping fit on a regular basis. Siya will ensure your time onboard will be remembered and all expectations exceeded. <br /> <br /> Chef - Dario Tani <br /> Born in Venezuela, based in the Caribbean, Chef Dario has been home in the kitchen since he was 16. When he’s not cooking, he’s usually surfing (or doing something in the water) and sharing with others. His free spirit (and job) has trekked him all over the world, but his roots and steady spirit always bring him back home to Puerto Rico. Chef Dario has more than 24 years of combined cooking experience working in North, Central and South American Asia, Europe and the Caribbean. He has helped open 10 different restaurants and ran high-end residential catering establishments. Over the years, he has worked as a private chef in homes and mega yachts. His cuisine ranges from vegan to paleo, farm-to-table, European, Latin and Asian influences. He cooks light, healthy, and environmentally conscious, sourcing ingredients from local farms and farmers markets. He prefers to use as little processed foods as possible ad believes in a well-balanced eating experience. Exiled russian oligarch’s 257’ superyacht amaryllis seen towed through palm beach.

The 257’ superyacht Amaryllis apparently owned by exiled Russian oligarch Andrey Borodin was towed past Palm Beach, FL on Friday morning, according to a visual account by CorpGov .

The yacht, whose owner is frequently cited as Mr. Borodin by enthusiast publications, moved slowly through the Lake Worth lagoon where bridges were raised for its passage. A towboat with flashing lights about 150 feet ahead pulled the Amaryllis , built by German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen in 2011.

While CorpGov could not officially confirm Mr. Borodin as the owner of the vessel, his wife, socialite Tatiana Korsakova, has posted dozens of Instagram photos and videos aboard the Amaryllis. A yacht broker interviewed by CorpGov confirmed that Ms. Korsakova is indeed aboard the Amaryllis in the photos and videos.

The sighting comes as billions of dollars in Russian-owned yachts have been seized around the world as a result of international sanctions. CNN has published an extensive list of seized vessels, which were taken in harbor cities including Mallorca, Spain and London.

However, it is unclear if the Amaryllis was being seized or voluntarily towed. Very large yachts often choose to be towed because bridges are required to raise for them, according to the yacht broker.

The former Bank of Moscow chief was granted political asylum in the UK in February 2013 after fleeing what he alleged to be politically-motivated fraud and embezzlement charges. Mr. Borodin would go on to be tried and convicted in abstentia in Russian Court in 2018, but not before managing to enlist a number of prominent American lawmakers to lobby Washington for a U.S. visa. Despite Russian extradition requests to the UK government, Borodin’s controversial attempts to make large donations to the NHS, and the uncovering of an assassination plot against his life, the fugitive banker remains overseas, having been granted access to his Swiss bank accounts and having made several notable London real estate purchases during his time in exile.

Mr. Borodin is widely listed as a billionaire, but his total wealth remains difficult to confirm accurately, with the governments of Switzerland and the Bahamas having been asked to help the Russian government in its legal case. In 2012, Borodin purchased the UK’s then-most expensive home, an 80-hectare 18th-century estate in Oxfordshire, for upwards of $217 million. In 2017 he was granted access to personal Swiss accounts holding a reported $378 million. The Amaryllis was purchased for a reported $120 million.

Mr. Borodin did not immediately respond to an emailed query from CorpGov , while the FBI declined to comment. An emailed query to The Department of Homeland Security was not returned.
