Nirvana Radio Control Model Sailboat
I bought a Megatech NIRVANA II around mid-March 2007, and assembled it right away. It took me longer than the advertising says to assemble it, but I wanted to be careful about the assembly, and was unfamiliar with RC products in general, and RC sailboat assembly in particular. It took me about 1 to 1-1/2 hours, but all went well.

Hi, I'm new to rc sailing but not to sailing. I recently bought a Nirvana II and was hopping to find others here with the same boat or expertise. I am having issues and would appreciate corresponding with any experienced owners. For starters: 1. The RC control is heating up after about 10 - 15 minutes, only on one side, the rudder control side. 2.

RE: nirvana II tips and tuning guide. It's interesting because the Nirvana is a 32" boat with 525 sq.in. of sail area. I think 200 oz.in. of torque may perhaps be reassuring pyschologically but it is certainly not necessary on the Nirvana. I run a Hitec HS-645MG and find the 120 oz.in. of torque quite adequate.

Nirvana 2 Replacement Sails. just inherited a Nirvana 2 sailboat. Anyone know where to get replacement sails at a reasonable price? Carr wants $120 and do not figure that the boat is worth that much. Gonna use one of my Futaba sailarm S-125 to replace the wimpy one and one of the Hobby King 2,4 radios to get her up to date.
