Lil Yachty Performs ‘WE SAW THE SUN!’ on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’
(Randy Holmes/Disney via Getty Images)
Lil Yachty is having a very good 2023, which continued this week with a performance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
The Atlanta rapper performed his Let’s Start Here single “WE SAW THE SUN!” accompanied by his all-female touring band, which provided the instrumentals for his “Saturday Night Live” set back in April.
Initially performing in front of a giant LED wall donning a flaming hole in the sky, cameras later began filming the artist with a CGI filter, making it look like he was on fire while singing. Subsequently, the entire stage looked like it was engulfed in flames.
Lil Yachty Explains Reasoning For His Women-Only Tour Band
Lil Yachty is on a worldwide tour for his alternative psych rock album, Let's Start Here . He also released his single “The Secret Recipe” with J. Cole and was featured on Drake’s latest album, For All The Dogs, via “Another Late Night.”
BET #OnTheVerge alum October London is also slated to appear on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” this week.
