Brad Pitt just bought a $7.6 million yacht

The 'Inglourious Basterds' actor Brad Pitt, who has set up home with Angelina Jolie and their six children in the south of France in their vast estate, Château Miraval, has bought a new toy for the family...

Pitt always fancied a beautiful yacht and dropped recently $7.6 million for it. He brought the boat after selling a share of his French vineyard to famous winemaker Marc Perrin. The couple's wine venture has already proven a huge success after selling out in just five hours.

Pitt is said to be in love with the idea of taking his kids out around the islands along the coast of the South of France near St Tropez.

It is believed Brad's friend, Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, will help him charter the 75ft yacht out to wealthy individuals while he's away filming. The yacht sleeps eight but you can have more on board if you are just going out for a day.

Fashion designer Roberto Cavalli is renowned for producing bold clothes that feature exotic animal prints. As both a designer and a lover of superyachts, it was only a matter of time before this celebrated creative would turn his hand to naval design. Together with Studio Spadolini , Cavalli worked on both the exterior and interior design of his batmobile-inspired yacht Freedom . A chance meeting between film star Brad Pitt and designer Frank Pollaro at the former’s French chateau in 2008 led to the formation of Pitt-Pollaro – a furniture collaboration based on Pitt’s extensive sketches. It was concerns about the declining local boat building community in his native Long Island that led music legend Billy Joel to design a beautiful day boat in collaboration with Doug Zurn and CH Marine. The 11.58 metre Shelter Island Runabout is inspired by traditional teak tenders and offers a huge range of customisable options from cockpit layout to wood finishes and engine size. Launched in 1996 and with each built to order, the design has proved extremely popular with upwards of 40 hulls sold. So far does rock star Lenny Kravitz’s passion for design stretch that in 2003 he founded his own specialist firm: Kravitz Design Inc . Along with designing interiors for numerous luxury penthouses – along with the uber-swanky set for The Queen Latifah Show – Kravitz also teamed up with Swarovski on the stunning Casino Royal chandelier. Available in four superyacht-friendly sizes, it is the perfect embodiment of the growing importance of superyacht lighting trends .

This is exactly what builder Lürssen and designer Nuvolari Lenard did when putting the finishing touches on the interior of the 88 metre superyacht Quattroelle .

Light and airy, the Bolt-designed gym features mirrored walls on two sides, multiple television screens and equipment including treadmills, cycling machines and multi-trainers arranged in an aesthetically pleasing symmetrical layout.

When Rob Van Winkle’s career as a rapper began to stall, he found a previously undiscovered talent in interior decoration thanks to home renovation TV series The Vanilla Ice Project . Brangelina's $10M Toy: The Speedy 120-foot Warren Sports Yacht Ghost II

When Brad Pitt , Angelina Jolie and their six children wanted a day of serious fun in Sydney during their recent vacation to Australia, they chartered one of the area’s most exclusive superyachts, the Ghost II . The 120-foot Warren Sports Yacht, built in 2009, is a high performance vessel capable of outrunning the paparazzi with a top speed of 26 knots thanks to its twin 2,400hp engines. The yacht, said to be the most luxurious and modern vessel available for charter in Australia, features luxury accommodations for up to eight guests in four cabins, as well as six crew members in three separate cabins. The superyacht’s interior design is one of the world’s best, with staterooms paneled in exotic fine-grained Makore timber and soft cream-colored leather, set off by bold stainless steel detailing.

The Ghost II's main saloon features an open dining area with seating for eight guests, with various al fresco lounging and entertaining spaces as well. Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their brood of six had a fun family day on the most expensive yacht available for charter during a vacation in Sydney, Australia.

The Jolie-Pitts had a day at sea on the Ghost II, a 120-foot Warren Sports Yacht.

The yacht, built in 2009, features luxury accommodations for up to eight guests in four cabins. Its staterooms are paneled in exotic fine-grained Makore timber and soft cream-colored leather, highlighted with stainless steel details.

The Art Deco-inspired interiors were designed by naval architect Peter Lowe and Anthony Starr Design.

The price to charter the yacht for a week: $90K.

Brad Pitt talks desire to be with loved ones in latest interview amid daughter Shiloh's name change

Brad Pitt has been notoriously private over the past few years and rarely talks about his personal life and has not disclosed his current relationship with his six children, who he shares with ex-wife Angelina Jolie .

However, this month, the Hollywood actor gave a glimpse inside his private life during a joint interview with his good friend, George Clooney .

The pair were chatting to GQ from the star's property Château Miraval , where Brad opened up about his personal life, and how he is trying to slow down, and enjoy time with those he loves.

"Well, now I'm doing one movie in a year and a half," he said laughing. "No, I'm still kind of on the same trajectory. I feel the same. I'm really just trying to enjoy the people that I love around me and just living. I don't know how to not sound cheesy about it, but just the air is fresh and grass is green and I've just kind of become that guy a little bit."

Brad also spends a lot of time in Los Angeles, and has a property close to ex Angelina's house.It's been reported that Brad has a complicated relationship with his children, and just this week, Shiloh, 18, was granted permission to legally drop her father's surname , now going by Shiloh Jolie, instead of Shiloh Jolie-Pitt. His youngest daughter Vivienne, 16, has also done the same.

Brad Pitt Celebrates His Award-Winning Rosé with Stunning Photos at Château Miraval

Brad Pitt is raising a glass to his award-winning wine and vineyard.

The actor’s Château Miraval Rosé was recently voted the “most desirable Provence rosé in the world” in a new ranking from French outlet La Figaro Magazine . Photos previously taken of Pitt and his business partner Marc Perrin at the vineyard were released in honor of the award.

According to a release, the estates were rated on eight criteria: the landscape, the premises and their renovation, to what extent it is considered a “hidden treasure,” the prestige of owners, the bottle design, the use of sustainable farming, the visibility of the vineyard and the taste-tested quality of the wine. With all the qualifications in mind, Pitt's wine ended up on top.

The winning product was initially introduced in 2013, just one year after Pitt and his now ex-wife Angelina Jolie officially purchased Château Miraval , a sprawling villa in Correns, France. (They had occupied a long-term lease on the property since 2008.)

They partnered with the Perrin family to launch Miraval Wines with immediate success: the first 6,000 bottles of rosé they produced sold out in five hours.

"Miraval isn't a 'celebrity' wine for me," Pitt told PEOPLE in 2020 . "Above all, it's a wonderful, exceptional estate that I fell in love with, and that I continue to invest in to make it one of the finest estates in Provence. For the wine, I partnered with the Perrin family. They have been winemakers for five generations. Together, we're in it for the long term. It’s not just a passing trend."

In the decade since they announced Miraval Rosé, Pitt has continually expanded production. First adding other estate vintages ( Muse and Studio ) and then, after years of development, bringing Fleur de Miraval champagne to market. Most recently, Pitt expanded into the world of spirits .

Earlier in May, PEOPLE exclusively revealed Pitt’s plan to premiere The Gardener Gin at the Cannes Film Festival . The annual event was the perfect venue as Pitt's latest venture is a premium, dry London-style gin inspired by the south of France.

The Alleged Reason Brad Pitt's Daughter, Shiloh, Filed To Drop His Last Name After Turning 18

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie 's daughter, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, surprised many by changing her surname. The reason behind this decision has now been seemingly revealed.

The daughter of the Hollywood stars filed for the name change on May 30, three days after she turned 18, giving her the legal authority to make such a decision.

Reports suggest that Shiloh's decision may be linked to the ongoing custody battle between her parents.

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt was not allowed to testify about incidents that contributed to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's split due to legal moves she now allegedly blames on her father.

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt Filed To Drop Her Father's Last Name

The Blast reported that on May 30, Shiloh filed a petition in a Los Angeles court for a name change that would allow her to drop Pitt from her name.

The third-eldest of the former couple, Jolie and Pitt, went by the name Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt but requested that it be changed to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie.

According to reports, Shiloh hired her own lawyer and filed the paperwork three days after turning 18, hinting that she was keen to get it done.

The Alleged Reason Why Shiloh Jolie-Pitt Changed Her Name

While it was initially unclear why Shiloh made the sudden move to change her last name, a close source has now revealed that it is linked to the ongoing custody battle with her parents.

Shiloh and her siblings were stopped from testifying despite Angelina Jolie petitioning the court to allow it. The young actor now seemingly blames her father for the decision.

The insider shared, per the Daily Mail : "The name change goes back to the custody battle and Shiloh's belief that her rights as a victim were violated."

They added, "Shiloh believed she had the right, as a victim of crime, to testify — and was prevented from doing so."

Shiloh Was On The Plane When Angelina Jolie Was Allegedly Abused And Injured By Brad Pitt

One of the incidents that led to Jolie and Pitt's breakup happened on a private airplane while the duo was returning with their six children, Pax, Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne, following a two-week vacation.

A heavily redacted FBI report revealed that Pitt allegedly verbally abused and injured Jolie during a heated encounter they had as they made the journey.

The incident was said to have been so heated that the six kids, who were minors at the time, started crying amid the entire drama.

Jolie reportedly suffered injuries to her back and elbow, while Pitt was said to have sustained a scratch on his body.

All parties ultimately agreed that criminal charges would not be filed due to several factors that were not disclosed.

Brad Pitt Was 'Devastated' By Shiloh's Name Change

The name change from Shiloh just after she turned 18 didn't sit well with Pitt.

"Brad was devastated by this choice," a source told Us Weekly . "To him, it was more than a change of name — it was a symbol of a deeper estrangement that has been brewing for years."

Another insider claimed that past events have led to Pitt not having "much of a relationship with his kids," but he still wants to connect with them despite such differences.

The source added, "He's not ready to give up on them, but knowing they are dropping his name is upsetting."

Amid the drama of his name being dropped, the Hollywood star is believed to be "putting on a brave face" in public. However, in his private space, he is "finding it extremely difficult to come to terms with" being abandoned by his kids.

Most of Pitt's kids have decided to side with their mother, as others have seemingly renounced his name publicly.

In May, the ex-couple's youngest child, Vivienne, boldly removed Pitt from her name on the credit of the playbill for the Broadway musical "The Outsiders."

In November 2023, Shiloh's older sister, Zahara, reportedly introduced herself as Zahara Marley Jolie for a Spelman College sorority initiation ceremony.

A source spoke about the deterioration in the relationship between Pitt and his kids.

"They've struggled to forgive and connect with Brad since the divorce," the insider told Us Weekly . "Their mom is the head of the household, and she's raised them with love and selflessness their whole lives. Once Brad left, it was very hard for them to see him go to war with her."

Brad Pitt was spotted embarking on a motorcycle tour in Iceland.

TMZ obtained photos and video of Pitt, clad in protective gear and helmet, getting onto his vehicle.

The video begins with Pitt, 60, standing by his parked motorcycle before placing a black ski mask on, settling onto the bike, and maneuvering out of the parking lot.

He then hits the road, however his destination remains unknown.

The sighting comes several weeks after his son Pax, 20, crashed his e-bike in Los Angeles . He was released from the ICU earlier this month after being treated for crashing his electric bike into the back of a car stopped for a red light on Los Feliz Boulevard in Los Angeles on July 29.

Pax, who is estranged from Pitt, is now beginning the long road of recovery and physical therapy.

The latest outing comes after the daughter Brad shares with ex-wife Angelina Jolie, Shiloh, legally dropped her father's surname.

Shiloh, who hired and paid for her own lawyer when she filed to drop the Pitt name on her 18th birthday in May, filed to change her name from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie.

TMZ reports there was no formal hearing for the name change - with the petition granted on Monday, per official court documents.

Last month Shiloh took out a newspaper ad marking the name change - which is a standard step before the court would approve a name change.

The notice also stated anyone who had objections to the petition should show up in court.

A source close to the matter told Dailymail.com last month: ‘Shiloh hired her own lawyer and paid for it herself, so Angie doesn’t know and can’t speak for it.

'But, if you’re asking if this is connected to the abuse history or the violation of Shiloh’s victims rights, yes, that’s part of it.’

The revelation that Shiloh paid herself suggests that the ugly spat between former couple Pitt and Jolie, 48, may still rumble on in the form of legal action from the six children the couple once shared.

There have been long custody battles which ended eventually in a victory for Pitt, who got 50-50 custody in 2021 only to have it overturned on appeal.

He’s had a judge intervene to tell Angelina she mustn’t listen in on his mobile phone calls with the children. The judge has also ordered ‘reunification therapy’ for Pitt and the kids.

The actor set up a skate park in his home for Shiloh, and more recently an art studio to reflect their common interest in art.

He’s sent cars and security to ferry the children from her home to his whenever there is an allotted custody visit. Sadly, none of it has brought them closer.

In fact son Pax said in an Instagram post in 2016 that all four of the youngest children – that’s including Shiloh – ‘tremble with fear in his presence.’ The two elder ones were at that point already declining point blank to see him.

The current situation has seen the children - Maddox, 22, Pax, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, and Knox and Vivienne, 16 - form a tight gang of seven with his former wife.

A central issue seems to be a notorious private jet confrontation in 2016.

An FBI report on the incident, which was published in 2022, saw Jolie accuse Pitt of physical assault while flying to California in 2016. She claimed that he was intoxicated and that he grabbed her by the head and shook her, and later pushed her down, as part of a confrontation allegedly related to their children.

Jolie told the FBI that Pitt told the children that she was 'f***ing up this family,' and she said he punched the ceiling of the airplane four times.

She claimed that at one point he poured beer on her and a blanket she was under with multiple children.

Source close to Pitt later claimed that he never hit any of the children, though they admitted that he had been drinking.

This comes amid recent claims that Pitt and Jolie's divorce - which has now dragged on for eight years - is still ongoing as neither of the stars can 'let it go.

A source told People 'their disagreements took over' in the relationship, adding that things 'turned nasty and it was not a good situation for anyone.'

'All the bitterness is partly why the divorce has dragged on for so many years. Neither will let it go. You’d think they would be over it and just settle.'

A separate insider said: 'Both of them were having issues with each other. The differences added up over time. It's really sad for the children, but also the parents. Divorce, especially one so high-profile, can be challenging for the whole family.

'They both care. They both care about the children.'

Three of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's children have changed their names amid their parent's feud.

The Hollywood couple announced that they were splitting in 2016 and there has been ongoing controversy ever since. It has now been announced that three of their children have dropped their dad's last name.

The pair share six children between them. Three of their daughters have made the decision to change their legal names. It was reported in 2023 that their eldest daughter Zahara, 19 had got rid of Pitt from her name, after introducing herself as "Zahara Jolie" when she arrived at a sorority at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia.

It has since been said that Vivienne, who is the youngest daughter, born with her twin brother Knox back in 2008, has also decided to follow suit. In May it was reported that their daughter Shiloh would also be the same upon her 18th birthday.

Shiloh's lawyer Peter Levine told People at the time: "The media should be more careful in their reporting, especially when covering a young adult who has made an independent and significant decision following painful events and is merely following legal process." This comes as Brad and Angelina's son has been left dealing with "complex trauma" after leaving the ICU following a terrifying bike accident. Pax Jolie-Pitt was "feared dead" when he had an electric bike crash as he collided with a car in Los Angeles, leading to urgent hospital treatment.

The 20-year-old is now looking at a "long road to recovery" after the chilling accident, a source close to the family has shared. L aw enforcement sources report that around 5pm, Pax crashed into the rear of a car. Paramedics rushed Pax to hospital amid fears he was suffering from a brain bleed after he complained of head pain following a collision. The incident occurred as Pax, who wasn't wearing a helmet, was riding down Los Feliz Boulevard and hit the rear of a stationary car at a red light.

A source close to Pax told Page Six that his friends are worried about his "reckless" biking habits. "His friends are concerned about him," the insider revealed. "He's being reckless. They're worried." It was also reported that Pax consistently neglects to wear a helmet despite having a history of dangerous accidents.

Pax is the second eldest child of Hollywood A-listers and former couple Angelina and Brad. The actors are also parents to Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.

The Mirror has approached Brad and Angelina's representatives for comment.

Brad Pitt Buys $7.5 Million Yacht

Brad Pitt has decided to buy his family and wife, Angelina Jolie, a sleek and pristine yacht for the grand sum of $7.5 million.

Pitt was able to make the purchase after he sold a share in his French vineyard at Chateau Miraval to the winemaker, Marc Perrin. It’s safe to say though that he could probably have afforded it without this sale.

Microsoft co-founder, Paul Allen, one of Brad’s close friends, is going to help him charter the 75ft yacht out to wealthy families when he is away filming.

Pitt, Jolie and their six children recently set up their home in the south of France, where they live in their huge estate, Chateau Miraval.

A source told The Sun , “Brad’s always wanted a classic sail yacht and this one is perfect. It sleeps eight but you can have more on board if you are just going out for a day.”

The insider continued, “He loves the idea of taking the kids out around the islands along the coast of the South of France near St. Tropez.”

The 12 Monkeys star isn’t afraid to splash his hard earned cash. Last August he bought his 11 year-old son, Maddox, a motorbike from Rusilip, Germany, the Suzuki DRZ-125, that can reach speeds of 50 miles per hour.

One source told E! News , “He wants the boys to be able to ride them on private land. It’ll be a fun thing for them to do, and obviously he has a real passion for bikes which he’d like to pass on.”

It’s also been rumoured that Pitt and Jolie are just weeks away from finally getting married. According to Now magazine , Pitt is prepared to spend around $2.5 million of the ceremony, and picked up a wedding licence last month, leaving them just 90 days to final exchange their vows.
