Showboat Branson Belle gives guests a chance to leave their cares at the dock for two relaxing hours of adventure and entertainment. One of the most enticing features of a cruise aboard the Showboat Branson Belle is the opportunity to spend time on scenic Table Rock Lake. An extended intermission between the meal and the beginning of the live show gives guests time to sit back, relax and take in the scenic views. Whether you’re sitting in one of the comfy Adirondack chairs, strolling along one of the four grand decks or looking through the window from your table, you’ll be able to enjoy the gorgeous scenery of the Ozarks from one of the most unique vantage points in Branson. Queen of the OzarksThemed after the majestic showboats of the 1800s, the Showboat Branson Belle evokes the spirit of a bygone era when riverboat adventure, glamorous travel and dazzling entertainment converged into what we remember as Those Grand Old Showboatin’ Days! FUN FACT: The Showboat Branson Belle was launched from her lake side shipyard August 13, 1994, using two tons of bananas as a lubricant for the nine second slide into the water. She traveled 14 mph during the launch, faster than she'll ever travel on water. America's Most Entertaining Lake AdventureIn addition to time for exploring the lake, your Showboat Branson Belle ticket includes a performance of one of our outstanding live shows and a three-course meal specially prepared for your excursion. Last Updated on January 13, 2023 by Lori The Showboat Branson Belle is a 700-seat dinner show and cruise aboard an authentic replica of an 1880s Paddlewheeler. The Branson Belle cruises on Table Rock Lake, where guests enjoy a three-course meal, variety show, and live band. Here’s a list of the Best Things To Do In Branson That All Ages Will Love This time, however, I was determined to fit it into our schedule! One of the first things I checked into was getting tickets for our planned November trip to Branson. We had driven to and over Table Rock Dam and thought this would be a great way to see Table Rock Lake and view the Ozark Mountains too. We were in luck because Branson Belle’s Christmas Show is known as America’s Most Entertaining Christmas Cruise! After experiencing the dinner show cruise – we certainly agree! The Showboat Branson Belle’s Christmas Dinner Show was one of the best shows we’ve seen in Branson. History of The Showboat Branson BelleThe Branson Belle Showboat is part of the Silver Dollar City Attractions . Known as the Queen of the Ozarks, she is themed after the majestic showboat from the 1800s To give you some perspective of its size, the Branson Showboat is four stories high and is nearly the length of a football field! We had so much fun exploring the wrap-around decks during the intermission and watching the paddles turn. Although it was November, the views from the boat were spectacular. Fun Fact: The Showboat Branson Belle was launched on August 13, 1994, from the lakeside shipyard using two tons of bananas as a lubricant. It took nine seconds to slide her into the water! Showboat Branson Belle TicketsThere are two types of tickets to purchase for the dinner cruise: General Seating and Captain’s Club. General Seating includes banquet-style seating and a standard three-course meal. Captain’s Club Seating includes priority boarding one hour before cruise time and a selection from the Captain’s Premium menu. There is quite a bit of difference between the two ticket prices: General Seating Tickets start at $63 per person for Adults (ages 12+) / $36 per person for Kids (ages 4-11) plus tax. Ages 3 and under are free. Captain’s Club Tickets start at $93 per person for Adults (ages 12+) / $56 per person for Kids (ages 4-11) plus tax. Ages 3 and under are free. We decided to purchase the Captain’s Club tickets for our family to get priority boarding for my elderly father, who has trouble walking distances so he would not have to stand in the long general boarding line. Was it worth the extra cost? What did we get for being Captain’s Club ticket holders? That’s a great question! Here’s our experience on the Branson Belle so you can decide which ticket to purchase for your family! Arrival And Boarding The Showboat Branson BelleBeing from New York, one of the first things we think about is parking. As we turned into White River Landing where the Branson Belle is docked, we were happy to see that there is ample parking for the Showboat! Our cruise was at 3:00 p.m. so we arrived around 1:45. Boarding is one hour before the cruise. Since it was during Thanksgiving, the entire walkway and dock area were decorated for Christmas! One of the first things you should do is stop to take a photo with the Polar Bears! It was quite a long walk to the dock and boarding area, but there were plenty of benches along the way to sit and rest. All I could think about, however, was that the walk TO the dock area was all downhill, which meant that coming back up to the parking lot would be much more difficult for my father. In hindsight, I should have requested a wheelchair – especially for the walk back – but we made it both ways! While you wait to board, White River Landing has two specialty shops with souvenirs and elegant ladies’ apparel, jewelry, and accessories. Plus, singers from the dinner show entertained us while we waited. There is plenty of seating in the dock area, and we were thankful that my dad could just sit and relax until the Captain’s Club Ticket holders were called to board. We only had to wait a few minutes before it was our turn to board the Branson Belle. When you reach the paddleboat, they will take a commemorative photo of your group. During intermission, they will come to your seat to see if you want to purchase the photo. Dinner On The Showboat Branson BelleAfter being directed to our Premium Seats, our server came to take our order. The Captain’s Club menu has a very nice selection of menu and dessert options. Captain’s Club Adult MenuAll entrees are served with a Wedge Salad topped with Bleu Cheese dressing and Hot Rolls with Butter. Entree – select one of the following:

Beverage Selections:
Captain’s Club Children’s MenuAll entrees are served with fresh green beans, a Wedge Salad topped with Bleu Cheese dressing, and Hot Rolls with Butter.
We made our dinner and dessert selections and were served our salad before the general boarding ticket holders walked in. Our premium elevated table seats were perfect. We had great views of the stage where the magician, singers, and dancers performed. General Observations About The Branson Belle Ticket TypesFrom our observations, there are several differences besides being called to board the Branson Belle first between the General Tickets and the Captain’s Club tickets. One is the seating type. General Seating tickets are banquet-style seating on the main floor level. Since our seats were elevated, I really can’t comment on whether there were any seats where their view was blocked by the guest in front of them or not. Everyone in the general seating area was having just as good a time as we were in the premium seating area. Plus, they were called on more often to come to the stage! So, if that’s something you LOVE to do, you might want to consider purchasing this type of ticket! The main difference we saw was in the meals. The General Ticket holders did not have the selection of entrees, desserts, or beverages that we did. Showboat Branson Belle General Seating MenuWedge Salad with Vidalia Onion dressing and fresh seasonal vegetables, hot rolls & butter Adult Entree – select one
Dessert – Ooey Gooey Butter Cake topped with Raspberry DRizzle and Powdered Sugar Beverage – Iced Tea & Coffee General Seating Children’s Menu
As you can see, there are quite a few more choices for Captain’s Club ticket holders. There were five people in our party and we all chose the Signature Angus Ribeye. It did not disappoint! For dessert, I chose the Lemon Mousse cake. My dad had the Caramel Pecan Cheesecake and the others chose the Ooey Gooey Butter Cake. All were delicious! Branson Belle Dinner ShowThe Master of Ceremonies for the show is a magician. He is very entertaining and brings guests on stage for several of his magic tricks. We loved the singers and dancers who performed. All musicians were very talented and performed all genres to appeal to all ages in the audience. They were accompanied by a 4-piece band who could play and sing as well. All of the performers were fantastic musicians and dancers and we enjoyed the show very much! Topside On The Branson BelleDuring intermission, we got up to go to the top level of the showboat to see the views. There is an elevator to take you to the top, or you can use the stairs. Once on the fourth level, we walked around the paddleboat. We were also fascinated by the paddlewheels doing their work! After intermission, we were served coffee and dessert and enjoyed the second half of the show. Soon, the two-hour dinner cruise was over and as we headed off the boat, we enjoyed the lights of Branson from the dock and the views of the beautiful Showboat Branson Belle. As you can tell, we loved the Branson Belle cruise! You should definitely add it to your bucket list of Things To Do on your next vacation to Branson! Looking to visit during the holiday season? Spanning sections of Oklahoma and Kansas and larger areas of Missouri and Arkansas , the Ozark Mountains are celebrated for their rugged landscapes, lush woodlands, and gorgeous water features. While much of the land is centered around farms, milling, and mining, nestled amongst these industries, the region’s small towns offer incredible destinations for chilling out—especially for those looking to reconnect with nature. Whether planning a jam-packed family vacation in bustling Branson or a romantic waterfront retreat in Osage Beach, the Ozarks’ small towns promise thrills for those looking for adventure and relaxation for those looking to unwind. From lazy lake days to challenging waterfall hikes, the Ozarks region has something memorable for everyone in 2024. Mammoth Springs, ArkansasAs the home of under 1,000 locals and one of the largest natural springs in the world, the charming Ozarks town of Mammoth Springs is proof that big things can come in small packages. The town’s namesake spring, a National Natural Landmark, can be explored at Mammoth Spring State Park, where an astounding 9 million gallons of water flows hourly into the 10-acre Spring Lake. Flowing southward, Spring River grants even more gorgeous scenes, along with world-class trout fishing. To behold the river in all its glory, pedal boats and kayaks are available for rent at the park. As for those who prefer to stay on dry land, the Riverbend Restaurant is the perfect place to try mouthwatering food with stunning river views, or visitors can pack a lunch to enjoy at one of the park’s scenic picnic areas. Regardless of where you decide to spend your time, Mammoth Springs has corner-to-corner natural splendor. Branson, MissouriFor a more energetic town to explore in 2024, Branson is an Ozark gem famous for being the “Live Entertainment Capital of the World.” Welcoming more than 9 million visitors annually, the town promises fun for families and solo travelers alike. The Entertainment District boasts over 30 theaters with over 100 live shows, along with hotspot attractions like the Titanic Museum, Aquarium at the Boardwalk, and the Silver Dollar City amusement park. The 1880s-themed park has everything from classic coasters to Table Rock Lake dinner cruises aboard the Showboat Branson Belle. Living up to Branson’s reputation, the park also hosts tons of live music festivals, like the upcoming Country Music Days from September 6th to 8th in 2024. Shortly after, from September 13th to October 26th, Silver Dollar City’s Harvest Festival will celebrate the changing seasons in an exciting way, promising festive fall flavors, a Cowboy Emporium, and their Garden Of Giants pumpkin patch. With all this and more, it is easy to see why this Branson attraction was voted the number 1 amusement park in the United States by Tripadvisor in 2023. Hollister, MissouriJust 5 minutes from buzzing Branson, the memorable town of Hollister is a pleasant detour or follow-up when you need a break from the crowds. Close to the shores of Lake Taneycomo, visitors can explore the surrounding waters by foot or by water with companies like White River Kayaking and Outdoors. Offering canoes, kayaks, and paddle board rentals, whether paddling out for a day of fishing or to simply enjoy the sights, White River Kayaking and Outdoors promises a great time. In the heart of town, Hollister's Historic Downing Street is a quirky escape back in time, transporting visitors to Old World England. Nicknamed “The English Village,” the buildings here are constructed in the Tudor Revival style, with exposed timber frames and patterned brickwork. Along with the on-theme Ye Olde English Inn, the village features businesses like the Downing Street Pour House, Embers Cigar Lounge, and the Twinkle Market gift shop. Eureka Springs, ArkansasAs the name hints, the town of Eureka Springs is another Ozarks town with gorgeous water features. Visitors can explore the very springs that made the town famous on the Eureka Springs’ Natural Springs Trail, including highlights like the Blue Spring Heritage Center. Home to the sapphire-hued Blue Spring and 33 acres of trailed gardens, woodlands, and meadows, the center is a tranquil way to reconnect with nature and learn more about the area’s Native American history. For more breathtaking scenes and fun outdoors, Lake Leatherwood City Park is another attraction worth exploring. The 1,610-acre area boasts an 85-acre spring-fed lake, 25 miles of trails, a historic marina, and a shaded playground in the heart of the park. Elsewhere in town, people of all ages will enjoy Onyx Cave Park, Arkansas’ oldest tourable cave, while animal lovers will fall head over heels for the jungle cats at Eureka Springs’ Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge. Osage Beach, MissouriBack in Missouri, Osage Beach is the perfect escape for a chill day on the water. Often called the "Heart of Lake of the Ozarks ,” this waterfront town is a gateway to some of the reservoir’s prettiest points. Among the lake’s vast 1,100 miles of shoreline, laid-back spots like Osage Beach City Park grant gorgeous access to the waters. For even better views, businesses like Captain Bob's Boat Rental allows visitors to explore the lake by pontoon. But the area’s true spotlight attraction would have to be the adjacent Lake of the Ozarks State Park. If you are seeking a place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle in 2024, the park’s solitude is one of its best features. Highlights include a sheltered cove, blufftop hiking trails, woodland picnic areas, and 2 swimming beaches, offering a tranquil escape from the stresses of everyday life. Jasper, ArkansasPerched near the nation’s national river, Jasper is a quaint little town with a vast backyard. With a population of just over 500 residents, one might think this charming spot is quiet and unassuming. However, the stunning landscapes surrounding Jasper promise a wealth of outdoor thrills. Whether renting a kayak or canoe from Buffalo River Canoes to paddle the river’s racing waters or hiking bluff-top paths like the Round Top Mountain Trail, adventure awaits at every turn. For those looking to be out in nature for longer, Jasper’s Horseshoe Canyon Ranch describes itself as an “adventure destination for all ages and abilities.” Located in the heart of the Ozark Mountains, this international dark sky area is perfect for stargazing, so consider booking a cabin or campsite if you can. An overnight stay also leaves more room to explore the area’s trail systems and 900 rock climbing routes and try Arkansas’ longest zipline. Bella Vista, ArkansasSpanish for “beautiful view,” the picturesque Springfield Plateau town of Bella Vista is another nature haven known for its abundance of outdoor recreation. Originally established as a summer resort destination in 1917, this northwest Ozarks town boasts over 56 trails across 160 miles. Hiking paths like the Creek Nature Trail are a popular waterfall destination, while mountain bikers can explore the Back 40 Trails network through sweeping ridges and valleys. In addition to its world-class trails, Bella Vista is home to 7 pristine lakes. While private, this is all the more reason to book a vacation rental in Bella Vista, which grants visitors access to the waterfronts.
