I can't speak more highly of Naos Yachts! My friend and I completed our ASA 101, 103, 104 and 114 courses this year with the Naos team. The boats are of top quality and are very well maintained. Our instructors, Mark for ASA 101 and Lori for ASA 103-114, were outstanding - very knowledgeable and great teachers! The Naos Club Membership gives you great discounts on charters, which my entire friend group gets to benefit from! I highly recommend Naos Yachts - I wouldn't go anywhere else! Thank you, Anne-Cecile, Hollie and the whole team!

Had a wonderful time chartering from Naos. Molly, Denis and Anne-Cecile were great! Everyone was very responsive (even weekend nights) helping me to plan a last minute charter. The boat (Beneteau Oceanis 37.1) was in impeccable shape. Will definitely charter with Naos again.

We visited to see a boat for sale. My hubby forgot to hit send on his email telling them we were coming, so the boat was not available. Gunnar gave us an opportunity to see some of the newer Beneteau beauties on their lot. You have to climb a ladder to see them, and I'm not a fan of heights. Thank goodness my daughter was there to make me pretend it wasn't scary. But I digress. Worth every heart palpitation. The new models have some interesting changes and Gunnar was great at explaining them. We've been targeting the 38.1 but after seeing the 40.1 we may need to rethink that. Its hard to find new boats for sale at San Diego dealers. Gunnar mentioned they always have new ones on the lot, so when you're ready to buy, this is a great place to choose.

For many years, I wanted to learn how to sail, but unfortunately never got around to it. This past week, I finally pulled the trigger and went searching for the best sailing school/yacht charter business in Marina del Rey that had ASA certification courses and a beautiful selection of boats on which to learn. After comparing all my options (Blue Pacific Yachting, Bluewater Sail, etc.), I finally decided on Naos Yachts due to their ASA course selection and the boats that they had to charter and use for teaching. However, when I decided to jump on doing my first course that very weekend, Naos did not have any ASA 101 courses planned for that weekend. So I gave them a call on Thursday to tell them about my situation right before I entered a work meeting where I couldn't take calls. Within the same day while I was in my meeting, Mollie texted me back to let me know she'd found a certified captain that had availability and had made the course live on the website for me to sign up. In other words, when a random stranger called asking about a course being added for the weekend on 2 days notice, Naos put customer service first and made it happen. As for the actual sailing course, I couldn't have been happier. We were out for two full days on the ocean, learning all parts of the boat, the points of sail, using the jib and the main, anchoring for lunch, practicing emergency maneuvers, docking, and doing everything that I would need to know to take a leisurely day sail with my family after this one single course. I also got to learn how to do all of those things on a 30.1 foot high-end and practically brand new Beneteau, which is a beautiful keelboat to take out on the ocean in the Marina del Rey area. Overall, I couldn't have been happier and now I am very excited to continue my sailing journey and lessons through Naos. The business is definitely your best option in the MDR area for learning to sail and getting A+ customer service.

I recently bought a boat from this team and it was a singularly outstanding experience. Gunnar in sales was transparent, honest and helpful and once purchased both he and John went the extra mile to address every concern or question I had - big and small. And a week later I'm still learning about the boat and they remain available and helpful. I can't say enough about what a positive this experience has been.

Unprofessional, unresponsive... NAOS doesn't care if you are not a fat cat, they just ignore you. Both the broker Gunnar and the owner Charles completely ignored my repeated attempts to follow up via text and email, it has been 3 weeks. I made an initial offer on an consignment sailboat which I think they found too low and decided to completely ignore my attempts for an answer. I doubt Gunner even run my offer by the owners. What an unprofessional attitude... I will be sure to spread the word in my local yacht club and all the others I am in touch with.

Anne and Ben made my ASA 105 and 106 class fantastic. I've had some oddball instructors in the past but Ben was a very smart and fun instructor, and with the sparkly new boat, this trip exceeded all my expectations. I'll definitely be back to Naos for more classes.... and hopefully a charter.
