The 123m/403'7" motor yacht 'Al Lusail' was built by Lurssen in Germany at their Bremen shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house March & White Design and she was delivered to her owner in August 2017. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of H2 Yacht Design.

Al Lusail has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 36 guests in 18 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 56 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

Al Lusail is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel MTU (20V 1163 M84) 7,512hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 19 knots with a range of up to 4,500 nautical miles from her 500,000 litre fuel tanks. Al Lusail features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels. Her water tanks store around 90,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules.

Motor Yacht

Al Lusail is a custom motor yacht launched in 2016 by Lurssen Yachts in Lemwerder, Germany.

Lürssen has remained a family-run German shipyard since its inception in 1875 and is now in its fourth generation of private ownership. The company was founded by Friedrich Lürssen with a desire to create a leading shipyard in both quality and performance.

Al Lusail measures 123.00 metres in length and has a beam of 20 feet. She has a deck material of teak.

Al Lusail has a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure.

H2 Yacht Design was established in 1994 specialising in the interior design and exterior styling of superyachts. The director Jonny Horsfield and senior consultants have between them over 30 years experience in the yacht industry during which time they have been involved in over 100 superyacht projects.

Her interior design is by March and White.

Al Lusail also features naval architecture by Lurssen Yachts.

AL LUSIAL boasts striking exterior profile, with a dynamic and contemporary look. Sporty and aggressive styling was created by H2 Yacht Design, who had previously worked on a huge number of work-famous luxury yachts.

Although Al Lusail is a highly secretive superyacht, there is the very limited amount of information has been released. The interior is best described as eclectic, with some great elements, such as central atrium which allows natural light to fill the interior down to the lower deck. Custom finishing and nautical touches are present in the design to create the unique decor. The designers also mention that the yacht has a number of innovative features.

The AL LUSAIL yacht owner is reportedly purchased the vessel for US $500 million.

Considered the 26th largest yacht in the world, the AL LUSAIL yacht is an impressive vessel built by the German shipyard Luerssen and launched in 2017.

She is 123 meters (404 ft) long and belongs to the owner.

The interior of AL LUSAIL was planned by the English Design House March & White , who work on high-end, luxury projects.

The owner of AL LUSAIL has not released a lot of information about the interior of his superyacht.

Few details about the exact furnishings are known, but the design style has been described as eclectic.

The yacht is said to have a large central atrium which lets in a lot of natural light in the interior.

The AL LUSAIL yacht can accommodate 36 guests and 56 crew members, although her exact cabin layout is not known.

She apparently has an elaborate spa and beauty area as well as a large gym and several indoor pools.

Everything on the interior of the yacht was custom-designed for AL LUSAIL and equipped with only the highest standard of materials.

The vessel has a large aluminum superstructure, steel hull, and teak decks.

The London-based design company H2 Yacht Design is responsible for the exterior design of the AL LUSAIL yacht.

She is an all-white yacht with a sleek design and a lot of windows.

On the aft, AL LUSAIL features a large beach club with an extendable swimming platform.

Her high-end underwater lighting system perfectly illuminates the yacht in the evenings.

At the bow, the yacht has a sizable helipad where even larger aircraft can land easily, allowing guests to arrive and depart comfortably.

Her remaining decks provide ample seating and entertaining space for her guests.

Video: 123m Lürssen superyacht Al Lusail delivered

The 123 metre  Lürssen  superyacht  Al Lusail  has been delivered to her owner in Norway. AIS data and social media posts show that she is currently moored in Kristiansand, a popular stop-off for superyacht handovers.

This highly secretive project features in-house naval architecture and exterior styling by British studio  H2 Yacht Design . The flowing lines blur the boundaries between the upper four decks and create a dynamic look.

Very little is known about Al Lusail ’s  March & White  interiors or engine set-up, but it is understood that the project was built to DNV GL standards with a 23 metre beam, while the full-displacement steel hull supports an aluminium superstructure and teak decks.

This is H2’s first design for Lürssen and the studio’s third superyacht design over 100 metres in the past three years. Previous H2 projects on this scale include  Kleven explorer yacht  Ulysses  and the 125 metre  Maryah . The studio’s creative director Jonny Horsfield recently revealed his  top 5 rules for superyacht design .

"We wanted to question the whole idea that a hull could not be styled or touched as it was a functional item and that we could cut into it in an outrageous manner," Horsfield explained. "The whole point of these designs with central balconies is to open up the centre of the yacht to avoid that long dead corridor effect."

It is not known where  Al Lusail will head next, but wherever she cruises she is sure to make a big impression — her length makes her one of the top 25  largest superyachts in the world today .

Other superyacht projects currently under development at the German yard include an unnamed 146 metre superyacht and the 139 metre  Project Redwood , which is due to launch in 2019.
