Motor Yacht
Launched in 2005, the 60.35 metre superyacht Blue Moon stands testament to meticulous design by Donald Starkey and expert construction by Feadship. Custom-built, this superyacht was refitted in 2008 and is ideal for sole-family use or perfect for long-journeys with charter guests.
With space on board for 12 guests, accommodation consists of a full-beam on-deck master suite, with office and guest room / gym, measuring approximately 1200 sq ft. The grand Owner’s suite is joined by two twin cabins connected to two queen cabins to offer a layout transformation from cabin to full suite. Her layout also provides space for 13 staff of highly skilled yacht crew and her Captain, making life on the water idyllic, down to the last detail.
Her glass cylinder elevator, large skylight in the sundeck, touch-and-go helicopter pad and updated 1972 Riva tender are just some of the design elements on board. This quintessential family boat benefits from the input of designer, builder and owner. Her interiors, also created by Donald Starkey, are a rich make-up of dark woods and light creams, expertly blended to create a stately home feel on the water.

Luxury superyacht BLUE MOON is a 60.35m (198') 2005 Feadship with interior design by Donald Starkey. She can accommodate up to 12 charter guests in 6 luxurious staterooms. The yacht is impeccably maintained and has one of the most exquisite Feadship interiors delivered to date.

BLUE MOON’s Master suite which is located on the main deck is approximately 1,200 sq ft and incorporates the Owner’s office and gymnasium. She offers a further five guest staterooms which are situated below deck. It is possible to combine four of these guest staterooms to create two large VIP suites, each with a sitting room and separate his and her bathroom. Therefore, on the lower Guest Level, there is the choice of a five, four, or three stateroom layout, plus guest a gymnasium. All accommodations are equipped with individual climate control, individual satellite receivers, Kaleidoscope Entertainment System, complete blackout, iPod docking station, reading lights, robes, slippers, hair-dryers, a telephone, intercom, and Wi-Fi access. All four levels of the yacht are wheelchair accessible utilizing the spectacular glass-encased elevator, or guests can instead use the spectacular iron sculpted spiral stairwell with railings on either side.
The Guest Gym is located below deck midships forward of the guest accommodations, to starboard, and features a 42” flat screen TV, 9.27 Precor USA Treadmill, Precor USA Elliptical EFX 5.2li, 5lb-40lb dumbbells, Kettler Racer Spinning Bike, Weight Bench.
BLUE MOON’s Bridge Deck Lounge has a full wet bar, a game table, sofa and lounge chairs and a 82” drop-down TV with surround sound. There is also access to an enclosed glass panel dining area with expandable table for up to 10-12 guests. The glass can be removed completely to create an al fresco dining experience if preferred. There is a cocktail area with L shaped seating aft with access to the bridge deck, walk around decks and Portuguese Bridge.
The Captain’s Office and Cabin and the Bridge Deck Pantry are situated aft of the Bridge. Guests can enjoy watching the Captain at work on the Bridge’s curved seating area.
The Observation room has panoramic views with floor to ceiling glass as well as a sunroof allowing natural light and fresh air to filter through. There is access to the walk-around decks featuring a Spa Pool forward, sunning pads, two chaise lounges, wet bar, BBQ, wind doors to port and starboard ensuring maximum protection.
Aft of the Observation room, there is an expandable oval dining table for up to 14 guests complemented by a skylight overhead. A cocktail table with chairs are situated aft, and the Bimini ensures maximum protection from the sun. A day head and exterior rain shower are also located on this deck.

BLUE MOON can accommodate a total of 12 guests in 6 Staterooms. The Master Stateroom alone measures around 1200 sq. ft. The Master Stateroom Entrance hall is forward of the main foyer with a dramatic entrance hall featuring custom woods, a day head, coat closet and custom artworks. The Owner’s Study is located on the starboard side and features a 42” flat screen TV, individual satellite receiver, and computer, printer, and Wi-Fi access. There is also an Owner’s Gym situated to port and featuring a 42” flat screen TV, individual satellite receiver, en-suite head with shower and sink, Pilates Equipment, Treadmill, dumbbell weights, and Massage Table. The Master Stateroom is separated by a wall of mahogany ensuring ultimate privacy. The walk-around King Bed faces forward and boasts a 50” flat screen TV, surround sound, and a lounging area to starboard and port. The His-and-Her en-suite Spa Pool Tub has a separate rain shower, private head and twin sinks. Walk-in closet to starboard for Him, walk-in closet with vanity to port for Her. The remaining staterooms are located below decks and include a 3 queen and 2 twin staterooms. All cabins have a vanity/desk, and 42” flat screen TV as well as a private En-suite. The 198-foot (60.35m) Feadship superyacht BLUE MOON is now listed for sale with Northrop & Johnson Yacht Brokers Kevin Merrigan and Wes Sanford. The yacht is listed for €43,900,000.
BLUE MOON is a truly remarkable superyacht. She was launched by Feadship in 2005, but has benefitted from constant and consistent upgrades, updates and care throughout her life courtesy of her adoring owner and her professional long-time crew. Some of her most recent modifications include a full superstructure repaint in 2018, the upgrade of her Quantum Zero Speed stabilizers to XT fin-type in 2019 and the repaint of her hull and main-deck bulwarks in 2021. The yacht’s interior and exterior both were designed by the renowned Donald Starkey. As such, BLUE MOON has won a variety of awards throughout her life, including “Best full-displacement motor yacht over 56 meters” at the 2006 ShowBoats Awards, among others.
In addition to providing the perfect on-water sanctuary for her owners, this pedigreed luxury motor yacht also has enjoyed a successful charter following. BLUE MOON’s exceptional features are certainly a draw. The yacht has a glass all-decks elevator, an observation lounge that provides sweeping views and a unique and flexible accommodations layout that can cater to almost any type of charter requirement. Furthermore, her on-deck master suite is expansive. At 1,200 square feet, it is no wonder this suite has space for a bedroom, his-and-hers en-suite bathroom, full owner’s office and a private gymnasium. 60m Feadship motor yacht Blue Moon sold
The 60.35 metre Feadship motor yacht Blue Moon, listed for sale by Kevin Merrigan and Wes Sanford at Northrop & Johnson , has been sold with the buyer introduced by Stuart Larsen of Fraser .
Built in steel and aluminium to Lloyds class by Dutch yard Feadship , she was designed by Donald Starkey , who also designed the interior, and was delivered in 2005.
Some of her most recent modifications include a full superstructure repaint in 2018, the upgrade of her Quantum zero speed stabilisers to XT-Fins in 2019 and the repaint of her hull and main-deck bulwarks in 2021.
